Congratualtions to Mr.Gopinath for briging in the special and delicate topic on stage.
I liked the program and wanted to send some feedback to you but not sure of a way to do it and chose this forum to do the same.

My point of view the current education system we have in India( Not the ABL) our traditional way of learning is goodfor many aspects.
Even in U.S.A where the ABL was in place for long time now they are moving to the way that we teach in India and they call these schools as Core Knowledge schools.

ABL or self paced learning would be a good tool for Bachelor's and Masters degree but not when the student is trying to learn the basics.

In U.S.A where this ABL is followed you can see many people who are on extremes either they become big scientist or they are in trash and this is because of the ABL. Students tend to go on their own and loose direction at a very fast pace. Number of successful candidates out of ABL will be less but those who are successful will succeed in a big way.

This is my point of view but I still support ABL/Self Paced Learning in Colleges but against this system at school level.

Me too.
ABL should be used in higher level education. Not in primary schools
