Name of the Dish: PEELA MURG
Course: Curry
Cuisine: Marwari (Rajasthani Royal)
Ingredients:
1/2 kg Chicken
25 gms Cooking Oil (or 2 Tablespoons or 6 Teaspoons)
1 Cup Of Curd (16 Tablespoons or 240ml)
1 Tablespoon Garlic Paste (15ml)
1 Tablespoon Onion Paste
1/2 Tablespoon Ginger Paste (7.5 ml)
1 & 1/2 pods of Chopped Onions (1 pod = 1 Onion)
4 Cloves
2 Black Cardmom
1 Stick Of Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
1 Teaspoon Haldi Powder
1 & 1/2 Teaspoons Coriander Powder
& Salt To Taste.
Procedure:
Heat oil, add whole garam masala and chopped onions. Stirr till the onions are golden brown. Mix the rest of the ingredients with curd and chicken and add them to the frying onions. Saute (fry briefly over high heat) them till the oil separate. Add 1 Cup of water and cook till chicken is tender. That's it. Your Peela Murg is ready. :p
