i know i'm writing to some die hard rajini fans...but i'll take the chance to expose your "great" leader. i don't want to write about his acting style/skills, because everybody has their own unique characteristics. Rajini came from karnataka, tamil nadu helped him. mostly his fans are from village and poor people. they spent so much money on him, including you guys. now he is wealthy, did it ever occur to you all "fans" what he did to you guys in return. take the case of chiranjeevi in telugu or great film personalities in the US or vijay kanth, even surya, everybody is giving back to their community that helped them, except Rajini. He wants to amass wealth, swindle from the poor... that's all he knows.
again i'm not against him, it's just that he doesn't have social responsibility. and for a man of this status, he donated paltry 5L for kargil fund, when vijaykanth did the same.
i'm really sorry for you folks...take a deep breath and think what he did. if you find some thing worth mentioning, post it on ths forum....i know you won't have anything...
he is a shame to the community which helped him come up... read kumudham latest issue, he was a silent spectator when a lufthansa employee behaved violently to a woman. he says something on the screen and does something else...

I think u r not aware of his generous and humble nature.. His arunachala trust every year donates books and fund for poor children. Unlike the other stars who does it for publicity,he does it for his own satisfaction.. many magazines have commented about his modesty in helping people... he is the only person who has done movie for about 8 to 9 people in cine field who were in need. He knows his value and knows how much people make profit out of him, if he is after wealth as u say he would have acted only in his home production and would've never had a mind or heart to help others...
Prabhu( Shivaji's family) were in debt and Rajini wanted to help them and thats y he did chandramukhi for them.. he didnt get his pay for it until it hit the screen and made profit... we hear about ur other so called heros who dont go to the shooting spot until and otherwise they receive their payment in advance...
Do you know how much did he get before doing sivaji? just Rs1001/- AVM Saravanan himself has told about this in an interview to NDTV.. You can watch it in youTube... Then another thing in cine industry only Rajini deserves to act in Sivaji which was about black money... Cos he is the only actor who pays his tax perfectly... This again everyone knows.. Vijaykanth just copies Rajini.. He does it for popularity and Rajini does it for his own satisfaction.. He never wanted to enjoy power and popularity.. thats y it is chasing him.. I strongly object tht most of his fans are from village. His fans are all over the world. I am in Singapore.. I watched Sivaji nearly after 2 weeks after its release.. The show was house full.. and I never had a feeling that i am in Singapore.. His fans are the same everywhere... My brother is in UK.. He also said the same.. U can see the interviews of US tamils about Rajini's Sivaji in Youtube... We watch movie for entertainment... We get it for the money we are paying for... Wat else do u need? He's the only one who gives movies to watch with family.. I watched all Rajini's movies with my parents earlier.. Now I watch it with my son without any uncomfortable feeling.. Can u name anyother actor's movie to watch with family? Thats y Rajini is and will always be a superstar..He's loved by all in a family..

At first our superstar said that after Baba,he wouldn't be acting any more movies. However,as the movie was a flop, he went against his words and continued to act...Maybe he thinks that he can enter politics through his fame and publicity which made him come back to act again because there is still blind fans who can't see and accept new talents.This is just my opinion. This shows that Indians will never improve if this is going to continue. Somemore, some directors are using and spending so much money to make him look young. Instead of using the money there,the director can concentrate more on the upcoming new actors and make much better films. The directors can also use the money to direct more standard movies which the younger generation will be interested in. Choose actors who are more capable in looks,dancing and etc. For example,In Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva show,even though there are many talented dancers,Sridhar master is looking for dances with a unique style of dancing...That is what everyone wants to see in screen...This is how everyone have to think and help the industry come to greater heights in future...If the tamil industry is still going to waste time and money on this kind of actors,it will no longer be in the top...This is 2008.Rajini is still acting as though it is the 1980s which younger generation is no longer interested in...I'm not anybody's fan...Just stating my point of views as a viewer...

Even i live in US my wife in canada and my brother -in-laws are in Japan and UK we all love Super star. Every one wants super star to become CM of tamilnadu because of his generous, modest, Humble and trust worthy nature not because of other reasons. Vijayakanth started a party to make money and pouplarity if rajni wants the he could have done it before a long. i dont know how many of them knows the strength of rajni but i have some real good experience yes when i was in my 9th std which was in the year 1992 Mr.RMV announced that rajni is starting a new party.You know what happen that time every one started madurai to visit RMV to confirm their MP and MLA seats with suitcase full of Cash.
you can ask me how do i know what is in the suitcase i know that 100% because my relative is one amoung those with their suitcase you know what basically he belong to other party since other party was bit low that time he wanted to join the new party.yes i also go with them to show some MASS.we went to meet RMV we took nearly 100 mahindra cabs full of people.
if super star decided to make money then he could have done it that ttime itself.that was the time i was seeing a huge crowed lakhs and lakhs of cabs "Chuma maduraiyae Adiruthula".
if he decided it before then he could have bought part of tamilnadu just like other parties.

you are in 1980's right i am also in 1980's and almost all of my friends too are in that 1980's only you know what we all are superstar Fans so do think anything like that.even my nephew he was born in america and he born in the year 2005 he likes superstar he is a die hard fan of motta boss he will go to sleep only after he watches that scene it just because he likes him he watches so many tamil and english flim but he likes only super star, george clooney and tom cruse.

Well yeah prolly at that time he was the only one doing commercial movies..but the trends have changed...even actors like Vijay when started doing commercial movies have just seen flops and besides almost every actor these days are more capable than your Superstar..let me ask you....have you seen him do a real dance even once..besides all the simple hand gestures and hip shaking? Seen him attempt something different in acting besides the usual cheapstick punch dialogues and outdated style? Or even do anything big for the movie industry?Ask yourself what has he done for the industry?

And besides its because of you people who blindly fall for such lesser talented actors that had given him a great market and now he is the highest paid actor in Asia? Do you think he really deserve it more than the world class actors out there who have contributed alot for the Indian movie industry like Kamal Hassan,Amitabh Bachan or Sivaj Gensan?

The reason his movies run these days is not because of him..it's because of his crew..well this is the reason why Sivaji was a big hit..because of the fan base of Shankar, A.R.Rahman and Vivek's comedies...and of course the big budget..and Jothika for Chandramuigi.

Is he capable of making a simple,low budget movie like Naan Kadaval? Very unlikely..because he is very incapable except his old punch dialogues and cheapstick styles..

And you say noone is ready to risk their money so they use him..well then how you explain why Kuselan producers ended up in a big debt after the big mess of the movie? Did you know that the initial Einthiran producers withdrew from the casting also and Sun Network took over? Why? Because possibly they would have seen the big loss that Kuselan suffered..and would want to avoid that..

As for why children like your nephew like seeing Rajini's antics..maybe it's because your family must be a big fan of him and keep watching his movie too much that all he knows if Rajini dialogue..or children enjoy watching silly things like cartoons...and prolly they just find his silly style really amusing...because I know some kids enjoy watching Tom and Jerry cartoons more than Tom Cruise movies..does this make Tom and Jerry a big blockbuster movie? i am not talking about who is old and who is young here i just appriciate people who came up in their career on their own if you want to honor those people then honor otherwise leave it dont blabber any thing like he is getting more and some one is not and all.
