Who is better? Rajini sir outdated syle with some old punch dialogue and a star who cannot dance( his dance is full with exercises- (hip movements, running from one end to another and exercising his wrist by shaking them a lot)sorry 2 rajini fans.....vs Kamal SIR who is the best actor and has set a higher standard to the tamil industry by his dance,productions,DIRECTION, story and acting and even singing. Whereas, Rajini "Sir" who has been trying to defeat Kamal sir is unable to do it till now. What brought Rajini up is not his acting but his style and making use of good actors and actress in side roles and directors and music directors in his movies to make his movie run well. For example- Sivaji- AR Rahman, Shankar, Vivek, Pappaiya Sir and for Chandramukhi- P Vasu,Prabhu,Vadivelu and Joythika who made the movie ran so well. I am not exaggerating here but speaking facts. On the other hand look at Kamal Sir who take budget movies like Mumbai Express and Vasool Raja which ran very well. Yes Dasavatharam was highly budget but the point is it is the best movie in the tamil industy history. Sivaji was highly budget but it did not beat the record of Dasavatharam. One more point I will like to add is about 80% of the movies' budget is used for Rajini's makeup to make hiim look younger. Kamal sir uses make up for a good purpose to change his character. So with all these facts you decide who is better? Rajini or Kamal? I think it is pretty obvious,.
