Hello,
I'm not sure if the "Neeya Naana" people read all contents posted here. But i have no other ways to get this point to your attention. This is my first try.
Have you ever noticed a ninth standard students school bag? Its filled with books of the 10th standard. All these schools are teaching the 10th standard syllabus for two whole year just because they have to achieve 100% results in the SSLC exams. The best part of this two year teaching is that "The Human Reproductive System" chapter is completely omitted in science. The timing of classes during the first year of the 10th std (its actually the 9th std) the school starts at 8.00 am and finishes at 6.30 pm, Sunday with half day special class and the timings for the second year of the 10th std (the actual 10th std period) starts at 7.00 am and finishes at 6.30pm and Sundays will also have the same timings. The student are not allowed to play for these two years - (how will India win gold in Sports if the young generation is restricted from playing). Apart from classes they are also given homework's for three hours. Guys, Just imagine the conditions of these students by the time they pass out of 10th std. Wouldn't they hate studying or going back to school again in their lifetime.
I'm very disturbed right from the first day i heard my nephew say all these things.
Gopi,
Can we do something about this?
I feel we must do something about this.
Can we take this issue into Neeya Naana debate or can you arrange for a special program where we can highlighten all these facts to the society?
Pls do something guys. its hurting....its very very hurting.
Regards,
Kumar
