View Full Version : Why is there so much bias?

Dear Neeya Naana team,

I saw the episode where Astrology was discussed. I am personally not a follower of astrology.

But I saw that when Astrologers were answering, the rest of the audience were asking questions very sarcastically, whereas when the other side was talking, there was no sarcasm.

I think Gopi and the Neeya Naana team were biased - they already felt Astrology was humbug, and when they talked, there was a sense of humor and sarcasm. I think this is wrong.

Can the medical world fully explain, scientifically, as to how every single medical case took place? Doesn't the medical world accept there are some "medical miracles"? How? If medicine is a great science, shouldn't it explain every single incident logically? But that is not happening.

So the point is simple - allow everyone to talk, and don't rebuke or ridicule them. If Gopi laughs at someone, the audience will feel that guy is blabbering. But Neeya Naana is supposed to take both views in an unbiased format.

These are just my views - and I am supremely confident this wonderful show will carry on with better success. I will continue to be a viewer of this show, but I expect clarity that's all.

Good luck

Regards
Bharath

Bharat,

Even I too agree with u totally. I do not believe in astrology. Gopinath is an excellent host. No doubt about that. But sometimes he seems to be biased. This should not happen again. He should be open to both the sides. The people who come to that show should be more matured and should have patience. Constructive criticism is accepted. But sarcasm, a big NO NO.

yes, only in this 'astrology' episode gopinath seemed liked he took the side of people who do not believe in astrology...otherwise he is generally unbiassed...the ppl who believed in astrology (except the chief guest) were not confident themselves...in a way they were split up...in the sense some of them did not believe some branches of predictions...some of them said palmistry was false while some said numerology and namology are baseless etc...some of them went to the extent of saying that some astrologers may at times go wrong:confused:..IMO that is the main reason for their failure...so naturally the anchor lost faith in their argument
