Firstly Great job to the entire team of Neeya Naana and the face we all see Mr. Gopi.
My feedback on the Teachers Vs Students episode is that Gopi was too harsh on the teachers. In a Students Vs Teachers show it was harsh to tear the teachers apart. It encourages the students who are unruly to do things more.
For students its an enjoyment period and teachers have to put up year after year for meager pay. Though Gopi said that Teachers have their own issues and should be discussed in a future show it was unfair to ask them questions on their reading habits.
If the set of Teachers selected were a good mix of highly paid university teachers and others, I am sure you will find that highly paid university professors and lecturers are very well read. I went to an engineering college ( not among the Top 10 in Tamil Nadu ) , yet most of my professors were voracious readers.
Its time vs money vs stress levels vs motivation equation. You pay them well and find good teachers who come to work for their passion and not to find a job, you will find well rounded teachers.
Yet the teachers who were not well read in your show, I am sure are putting their best foot forward to do the job they have taken up. I am sure none of the students in that show are putting their best foot forward.
Felt sorry for the teachers who showed up in the show. The show was so one sided, I wonder if any teachers will want to come to the show after such treatment.
Just a thought. But overall, Gopi and the team have done a great job with the balancing act irrespective of who is on which side. Hope you all continue with the same direction and continue the good work.
Regards
P.S. I am not a teacher. Never been one, not aspiring either.
