Balika Vadhu: practise what you preach

All of us know that Balika Vadhu is the no 2 show in india and is having neck to neck competition with biddai for the no 1 position. it has a good concept about "preventing bal vivaah" and after each episode they give a slogan on the subject.

But now; they are themselves what is wrong. They were showing Sugnaa's Gaunaa now a days where Kalyani(Anandi's dadi saas) gets furious at Anandi for bringing Phuli, her sahelii at the functions. She terms her "bad omen", apshaguni(inauspicious) as she is bal-vidhwa(child widow). But Jagdish promises his bindani, Anandi and smuggles Phuli under disguise at the main function. Chain of events lead to Sugnaa's husband being shot dead by the bandits and she becomes widow(she already has had physical relationship with prataap b4 gaunaa):o.

What the hell, are the creators of BV trying to show. Are they trying to endorse the character Kalyani's fuddyduddy outdated baseless view that widows should be boycotted at social functions and they are apshaguni. :mad::eek:

no no yaar ur getting it wrong..kalyani purane khyalaat ki log hai..and they are trying to say that we should avoid these superstitions in the society..well but i dont get why u didnt post this in the balika vadhu forum...why here???:confused:

Pratap's death is an accident, may be the producers want to show people blaming Phooli for it and then prove that its not her fault. But Panesar, there is a BV forum on indya.

no,the BV team is just showing the truth about the attitude towards a women when she becomes a widow
