1. Not many people know that initially Salman Khan was offered the role that SRK played in Chak De! India, but when Salman heard the script, he wasnt very convinced with the climax of the movie. Infact even Aditya Chopra approached SRK, even he refused the offer, but not due to the script, but SRK didnt have any free dates.

2. Salman Khan hates the airports. He hates when he gets mobbed by his fans at airports while waiting for his flights. Whenever he has to fly, he makes it a point to leave home just in time.

3. Aamir Khan was offered the lead role in 'Lakshya' but he turned it down for The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey (2005).

4. Shahrukh Khan studied in St. Columba's school, New Delhi, where he was awarded the 'Sword of Honor', essentially the award for best student.

18. Farah Khan convinced a veteran music director Pyarelal to come off his self-imposed exile from the current film music scene to compose a song for Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om. The song was created in nine shifts spread over three days. And in LP style the song's recording happened with a 150-plus orchestra, a rarity in today's age of digitally-arranged music making. 40-45 different drums ranging from tabla and dhol to duff, 40 plus violins and 22 woodwinds amongst other instruments were used for the song.

19. Shahrukh Khan who did a guest appearance in Bhootnath refused to accept any money from the producers. In addition to that, he used using his own clothes and accessories. Producer Ravi Chopra offered to buy Shahrukh a Bentley. But SRK politely refused.

20. In the movie Dil Se, Shah Rukh Khan did not use a safety harness while the filming the sequence aboard the moving train for the song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’.

21. Shah Rukh did the voiceover for the movie Kismat Konnection. Incidentally, Juhi Chawla, who plays a crystal ball reader in the film, was to do the voiceover. But, things did not work out with Juhi as she felt that the visuals were too strong for a woman's voice. That's when Aziz Mirza called up Shahrukh Khan. Shah Rukh had just landed from London when he rushed to do the voiceover for Kismat Konnection at around 1.30 am.

22. As for Shahrukh, he was willing to do anything to get her in his life, and it is said that he had entered Gauri’s household by posing as Abhimanyu during the girl’s birthdayparty. Abhimanyu…. Who? Yes! The character that Shahrukh had just started to play in the television serial Fauji that was being directed by the retired Lieutenant Colonel Raj Kapoor. The serial based on life in the army had made Shahrukh’s character really popular, and people around even said that he looked quite a bit like Dilip Kumar when he attended the birthday party in Gauri’s house that day.

23. The story of Shahrukh and Gauri’s relationship continued to add a new chapter with every passing day, and not all of them were bliss-laden as is the case with all human relationships. He was tremendously, in fact uncomfortably possessive about his lady love, so much that he would pick up a quarrel with her even if she let her hair down… literally. Finally, Gauri lost her cool and realized that she wanted to get away from the emotional bedlam in 1989. Without informing Shahrukh, she came down to Mumbai with her pals just a day after the former had celebrated her birthday in his room by decorating it the best way he could have and giving her lots of presents.
