Mr Raghuram's manners on a public show...

Mr Raghuram, If you really care about someone please advise them personally. Dont criticize them in a media show. What you have done to sai pallavi dosen't seems to be motivating her.

SAI PALLAVI DANCED VERY WELL. HER PERFORMANCE AND EXPRESSIONS REALLY IMPRESSED EVERYONE AND IT WAS BETTER THAN AISWARYA RAI....

I totally agree with Richard.... Raguram felt guilty of his comments on Sai Pallavi hence he tried to justify again..... just as he has the right to judge.. the celebrities also have their rights to comment on the dance and that is what they did.:o

They all appreciated Sai that he got pissed off :mad: and started to justify his point.Her dance though was very graceful and she is repeating the same.
None of the other contestants did a classical hence her performance was unique to this round.

And Raguram master plz stop kissing people. :eek:

Raghu mas’s had a point in what he said, ie needs some more innovations; &once he came up with his rage,things got funny..he uttered like he is next 2 Brij maharaj,nobody has such talents secondly.. all those…pity:cool:

But the dance was indeed unique among d lot…&theme’s well conveyed..

I thought that Mr. Raghuram was extremely rude.
His comments to Sai Pallavi were fine. He has been judging her for many rounds now and it is his prerogative what he feels about the performance (I agree that she is repetitive and not versatile).

But what really pissed me off was his attitude and lack of respect towards Sana and Monica for their comments. They were just giving their opinions of this particular dance of Sai Pallavi. They enjoyed it and said so. They did not say that Mr. Raghuram was wrong. Just because he is a veteran dance choreographer does not mean that other people cannot have opinions different from his. He himself said that the dance was fine and that his problem is that Sai Pallavi keeps performing the same sort of dance. Sana and Monica are at this show for the first time. To them, the performance may actually be good as it may be the first time that they are seeing Sai Pallavi perform. (On a personal note, I found the solo dance boring although Sai Pallavi was really graceful.)

By talking back like that, he just insulted the two guests who have kindly agreed to take part in the show by not just turning up as a celeb judge but actually putting in hours to practise and then perform in that show. After all, they are ultimately not grading the performance and so their comments don't matter in terms of which contestant will be eliminated.

I feel that Mr. Raghuram has major ego issues. And to have to himself actually recite his accomplishments and abilities seems to me that he feels that he is not respected enough. Maybe he wishes that the show was titled Ungalil Yaar Adutha Raghuram...

Anyway, his horrible attitude made Sai Pallavi cry even though she did not even say a word during the comments and was graceful in her acceptance of his criticism for both dances. Just for that, I hope that she wins even though I think that she is probably the weakest contestant now. But I guess that she will be eliminated in this quarter finals with the most negative criticism thus far.

Excatly my thoughts about Raghuram sir and Sai kid's performance...I have to accpet that Sai did a decent job for Mann Mohana song( my favourite one...:)) but yes... it wasn't perfect for a competition like that...hope she improves (even if she doesn't win the title...) and shows some versatility...:rolleyes:

I think Raghuram Master;s view on Sai Pallavi is true, she doesn't try too differently in her dancing skills and her plus is her laugh and simple expressions, how long she can go on, and Raghuram is too good to point it out.

It is not appropriate for actress Monika on blindly supporting Sai Pallavi with out knowing the background.

Well done Raghu master, as a judge, you need to be strict on the big competition which is heading for semi finals.

However I agree Raghuram master must stop kissing contestents.

I actually agree with Mr. Raghuram's assessment of Sai Pallavi's dance. I think that she is a one-note dancer and am not impressed with her.

But he had no business to be rude to Monica for expressing her opinion. Monica is there for just that round. Why it is necessary that she needs to know Sai Pallavi's dance background in the show? She's not there to judge. She's just giving her opinion about that one dance as she was asked by the host Ramya and if she liked it and found some merits in her performance, why can't she say so?

In what way is what Monica said disrespectful to Mr. Raghuram? She did not say he was wrong. She only said why she enjoyed the performance. I found his assumption that Monica is putting him down just because she expressed an opinion different from his own incredibly self-centered.

Mr. Raghuram's experience in the dance field does not entitle him to be rude to others with different opinions. If he really felt strongly about Monica's comments, he should have addressed them in a more polite manner. I believe that you can be strict and offer constructive criticism and yet not be rude at the same time. His behaviour is not suited to a person of his age and experience and have made me lose my respect for him.
