Our stars’ names are, without a doubt, a brand on their own. People crave to be them, live their lives, or at least be associated with their names. And if that is not enough to flatter our stars, some even have products, buildings, perfumes and even flowers named after them! We take a look at our Bollywood stars who have been bestowed with such an honour.

Aishwarya Rai

The beauty queen has all sorts of things named after her all around the world. A lipstick, a perfume... even an oil field!
1) She endorses L'Oreal, which has a shade of lipstick called Aishwarya Beige.
2) Scottish oil and gas firm Cairn India named one of their oil fiends Aishwarya. Having already named one field Vandana, the company's Bill Gammell was looking for a name when he met Ash on a plane and bingo! We hope the Ash oil field is rich and fruitful.
3) Amar Singh has named his bungalow in Lucknow Aishwarya, saying she was like his daughter-in-law.
4) The most romantic thing that Ash has named after her is a Dutch tulip. Crafted by Jan Ligthart, the tulip was named after her in 2005. The flower is dark red and has a bright yellow rim. It is permanently registered in Ash's name on the international tulips checklist. "The Tulip represents the most beautiful women in the world," the citation reads, "It represents you, Ms. Aishwarya Rai."
5) The most meaningful thing called Aishwarya is probably the school that bears her name. Built by pa-in-law Amitabh, the school sits on a 5-acre plot of land in Daulatpur village of UP. the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Girls Intermediate College is a higher secondary school. Big B said it would be "a boon for all the girls in the area who cannot travel the 40 km to the nearest existing school."
