Dear Gopi, I always had a strong feeling that the IT people were grossly mis-understood and disliked by the society at large. There was and is a continued hatred towards them. The basis of all this is their money raking capability, which has now come down to precarious levels. I'm a senior in the industry and when I came in in 1991, it was yet another job drawing INR 1000/- per month. Now, the scene is not so, very now, it is pathetic...! The society does not understand that when IT person get hits everyone around him/her also gets hits...! You can take a session on this, would be good for people in IT and people outside IT...!
