Egyptian cotton first gained its popularity in the bedroom, after bed covers and sheets made with the durable fabric reached store shelves. Now the material is making its way to clothing racks. This fabric is highly durable and very smooth to touch. Indian cotton, Lycra, chiffon, and jersey are also popular fabrics for summer that keep you feeling light at all times!
Colors
"Colors speak all languages". They evolve from season to season. Effectively supplemented with other colors, they make intriguing combinations. The color kaleidoscope for summer 2009 would be off-white, shades of pale pink, shades of pale blues, lilac-pastel tones and in bright tones, yellows & fuchsia which are a 'Showstopper' shade, dominates the color palette adding a seductive appeal to the clothing. For summery desires one can get inclined to Turquoise and off course Black for evenings only.

For women - Knee length dresses, flowing gowns, blouses, harem pants, tee shirts and jeans, shorts (both micro and culottes) are some of cuts very popular in all kinds of floral prints as well in solid colors
