Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty with her boyfriend Raj Kundra and her family offered prayers at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Apparently, the prayers were for the success of her co-owned Rajasthan Royals team in the Indian Premiere League (IPL).

Other Bollywood stars of yesteryears like Jeetendra, Prem Chopra and Poonam Dhillion visited Golden Temple as well. A special trip to Golden Temple in Amritsar was arranged for a few Bollywood celebrities.
