THE PACT

FLASHBACK
I looked around the disco ..evryone was in high spirits dancing to the music smiling ears to ears with their partners she looked towards the dance floor
their sammy n gunjan were dancing looking into each others eyes how romantic! she smiled inwardly how she had a crush on him ..how much she liked him ..ofcoz she never got a chance to date him n then gunjan came n things changed...well wateva hapens ..happens for a reason or else how wud i hv got my sweetheart? she moved on..nxt to gunjan n sammy, benji n sheena were dancing..a completely unexpected couple who knw sheena liked guys with a funny sense of humour ...but where r mayank n nupur? she strained her head a bit searchin for them ..there they were, omg r they fighting? ..now wen its the final day n we all will b seperated ..may b 4eva n then she heard them over the loud music
N-mayank! pls dance karne chalo na pata nahin iske baad hum mile bhi ya nahin
M-nupur hum donon ne ek hi jagah job karne ka decision liya hai hum roz milengey

she laughs loudly how adorable they r.. they always fight but still theres so much love between them!

her fav song starts playin as she reaches the dance floor

the rest all clear the stage n RV n diya hv a special dance..n then he takes her outside to spend some special time with her alone

N-matalb? hum ek doosre se baat to kiya karengey na samrat to phir iski kya zaroorat hai?
S-"hmm nupur halat kisi ko bhi majboor kar sakte hain..lekin aaj hum apni dosti ka vaada dete hue 3 saal baad isi club main milengey theek 8 baje done?"

Passengers are requested to tie their seat belts. The flight is going to take off in a while.
Samrat n uday get seated.
After a while
Seeing samrat deep in thought Uday finally decides to break the silence.
U- "Kya hua dude?"
S- "Kuch nahin UD (pronounced as UDI) bas soch raha tha ki yeh sab mera idea tha aur mujhe hi yaad nahin raha."
U- "koi baat nahin sam tu bhool gaya aur vaise bhi tere upar itni responsibilities hain u hv to give ur best in each match"
S- "tu bhi to team main hai na ..tu mehnat nahin karta kya?"
U-"hann yaar par tu captain hai"
S- "nahin yaar! maine apni dosti ka vaada diya tha!"
U- "Sam chill yaar! yeh baat bhool ja soch le ki aisa tha hi nahin..main kisi ko nahin bataonga"
S- *sighs* ok
U- "tu khush nahin hai kya??"
S- "tumhe pata hai...phir pooch kyun rahe ho?"
U- *sighs* mujhe pata nahin tha ki aisa bhi kabhi hoga!!

U- "ki main tujhe samjhaonga! dekh sam tu gunjan ko leke pareshan hai " samrat tries to interrupt "n wateva u say sam i knw u still love her par tu sirf uski kyun soch raha hai? di nupur benji mayank aur baki sab bhi to honge yaar!"
S- hann UD tu sahi keh raha hai yeh waqt purane dukhon ko yaad karne ka nahin hai balki khushi batne ka hai"

nupur pulls it out n gets surprised then happy
N- "haush chalo mil to gayi"
Nupur turns to thank mayu n finds him disturbed
N- "mayank? kya hua..kya soch rahe ho?"
M- "Kuch nahin nupur"
N- "kuch to baat hai ..mujhe nahin bataogey?"
gunjan aur samrat ke baare main bataon ya nahin?
N- "mayank!?"
M- "actually nupur...woh main" he sits on the edge of her bed
M- i cant "umm woh ..ah..pata nahin hum itne saalon baad sabse milne wale hain, sabkitne badal gaye hoonge na?kya humari dosti pehle jaisi hogi ..itne saalon baad?"
N- " hey bhagwan aur main samjhi ki pata nahin kya hogaya...dekho mayank" she sits nxt to him"changes r a part of life iske baare main koi kuch nahin kar sakte par hamari dosti laakhon main ek hai!
M- "tum sahi keh rahi ho nupur...achha sab packing ho gaye? hann bas thoda samaan pack karna bacha hai! ek to hyderabad se mumbai ka raasta bhi lamba hai ..pata nahin main akele kaise safar kar paongey woh bhi itne saare saman ke saath!"
mayank puts his arms around nupurs waist n rests his chin on her shoulder
"nupur tension mat lo chaho to yeh saman chhod jao main do din main to aa hi raha hoon saath main le aaonga"
N- nupur blushes n then turns "its ok mayank tum to jaante ho mujhe har chhoti baat pe hyper hona to mera nature hai..bas ek yahii buri baat hai mujhme hai na?"
M- tilts his head like a baby"achha mujhe to yeh aadat bohut achhi lagti hai" nupur smiles mayu wraps his arm around her waist firmly
phone rings
M-"agh yeh phone ko bhi abhi hi bajna tha!"
nupur giggles "go mayank"
M- "ok u continue packing i'll attend it"

S- "hey rosy maine woh bungalow saaf karane ko kaha tha..woh hua ya nahin?"
Asst- "yes maam ho gaya"
S- "mera saman arrange kar diya na ek kamre main aur saare kamron main tumne"
Asst- "maam dont worry sab kaam ho gaye"
S- smiles "Good kisi bhi cheez main kami nahin honi chahiye mere dost itne saalon baad aa rahe hain i want evrything perfect"
Asst- "yes maam"
S- "hmmm aur nxt month tak mujhe work related koi calls nahin aane chahiye ok?"
Asst- "um maam aapke liye ek film ka offer aaya hai ..its a big banner film"
S- gets angry"rosy maine kaha na m not gonna sign any movies for the nxt month!!"
Asst- "sorry"
S- "bye"
2nd asst- "maam bahar news reporter aaya hai aapka interview lene"
S- "kya? par maine to kaha tha na ki main koi interview nahin doongey"
2nd asst- "m.. m sorry maam ..main use mana karna bhool gaye... main mana kar deti hoon"
S- sheena relax! "nahin aane do use aur suno tum nayi ho ..lekin dobara aisi ghalti nahin honi chahiye"
2nd asst-"sorry maam"
goes back to her desk
2nd asst- yeh maam bhi na ek min naraaz hoti hai to doosre minute smile kar rahi hoti hain..shes soo fake!
Secr- achha? janti kya ho unke baare main! bolne se pehle socha karo..samjhi!?
2nd asst- aisi bhi kya baat hai?
Secr- yeh unka personal matter hai..tumhe kya?
2nd asst- fine.. chill !

G- aaj show suna it was good

they both laugh ..together they head towards the station

G- "oh hann batana bhool gae..session next month start hoga trip se wapis akar join karoon gi"
B- "tum hamesha se professor banna chati thee na"
G- "hann"
after a while..
B- "hum sab toh India mai hi rehte hai..pata nahi CJ Dubai se apae gi ya nahi.."
G- "RV aur diya bhi to new york gaye hue hain"
B- "arrey haan par meri diya se baat hue thi kuch din pehle woh donon aaengey"
G- "achha thts gud... CJ se meri zyaada baat nahin ho pati itni badi company mai event manager hai na..par m sure wo dosto ke liye time nikal legi.."
B- "yup i hope ki sab ae"
G- "sab"
B-"kya hua..kaha khogae?"
G- "han, kahi nahi... Sumi kaisi hai?"
B- "woh theek hai ..haha mere saath aana chah rahi thi"

RV waits for diya to continue but she doesnt

Diya smiles RV looks at her n finds tears ready to flow
he immediately jerks up n hugs diya tenderly "hey baby y r u crying?"
D- diya now almost crying "i dont knw m happy && nervous is like this never happened to me b4 i dont knw wat i feel RV!"
RV- baby relax pls sweety u r happy..u hv never been happier than this.thts it
D- true
RV- ok doll time to sleep
diya snuggles closer to him
D-i love u
he gives her a small peck on her lips
RV- i love u too
D- nite
he wipes her tears n lets her sleep
she was his princess n nothing cud hurt her..nothing!
even though he was hurt ..she said tht she had never been happier..she is happy with him but there is sumthin missing wat is it? i'll give it to u just say it baby just say it!

S-UD! chal uth plane has landed
U-huh!?
S- apna saman nikallo
U- oh achha ...aankh lag gaye pata hi nahin chala
S- koi baat nahin
after all the necessary checks uday n samrat called a taxi outside they soon reach the bungalow
U- wow kafi bada ghar hai sheena ka
S- dude ab andar bhi chale
as they start heading towards the door they c sheena running towards them with a big smile on her face
Sheena- "sammy! Uday! m so glad to meet u guys!missed u soo much they hug each other
samrat look at u u hv changed! gym jaana suru kar diya kya?"
S- its been long noone has called me tht
U- same here babes we missed u too
S- for once he was happy.. he cudnt remember the last time he was soo happy seeing sheena felt like being back in the old times ..he luvd this n no matter wat this is the time...he wud neva b able to hold it but surely cherish every moment..
ya we missed u too tumhari movies dekhi kaafi famous ho gaye ho
Sheena- "yeh baatein baad main pehle andar chalke fresh ho jao"
she leads them in
The bungalow was beautiful.It had a beautiful lawn with beautiful flowers planted.

They entered the hallroom Crystal chandeliers were hanging on the ceilings there was a clear view of the beach through the windows..on the 3rd side there was a staircase next to the stairs a passage leading towards the kitchen the staircase leading towards their rooms though it was the third wall tht touched them the most..one entire wall was covered with their groups photos of their college times with beautiful friendship quotes written on them...the wall led to another room where a widescreen LCD tv with a dvd player music system n many cd's were kept
S- Sheena its beautiful
Sh- thnx sammy achha chalo yeh sab hum baad main dekhengey pehley tum log apna kamra to dekh lo
Sheena leads them to their bedrooms up the staircase ..the walls were all empty but beautifully lit in a light bluish light
Sh- woh right side pe 2nd waala kamra tum logon ka hai...go check
S- aise nahin tum bhi chalo

After hearing gunjan's name all thought swept away from sam's mind Gunjan? woh aaj! main kya kahunga usse? usne mujhe maaf kiya hoga ya nahin? maaf kyun karegey tune sorry bola tha kya!
U- dude pehle tu fresh ho ja main saman unpack kar deta hoon.......sam?
S-huh!?
U-sighs meri baat yaad hai na?
S- nods hann main fresh ho jata hu
takes his things n leaves to freshen up
U- sheena ne itna achha arrange karwaya hai...he picks up one of the albums in the shelves n sits on his bed
The first pic was their group photo he remembered it was of their college trip to ooty.he turned few more on one pic such he started laughin oh god wat wudnt i give to relive those days! the pic was his n CJ's he remebered it was taken wen mayank, sam n gunjan had helped him to ask CJ out thou he dint knw they will b clicking pics too! nywayz it dint work out her expression was as if her world had crashed down!
he smiled n continued flipping thru photos.

G- hann
they both step out from the train
B- takes in deep breath n closes his eyes "aaah mumbai ki fresh air aaj lag raha hai ki main ghar lot aaya"
G- smiles "chale?"
B- pehley aap maam
they both hire a taxi n reach sheena's place
G- kitna achha ghar hai na
B- well sheena ka ghar hai achha to ho ga hi
Sh- looks from the window she had been waitin for them to show up just as she had been waiting for samrat n uday she ran towards them ..they were looking towards the house
"Benji!! Gunjan!!"
There heads turned towards her gunjan smiled n benji grinned n then turn into shock
Benji screams "hey sheena slow down gir na jao"
the moment he said tht she realised tht she had no balance surely she was gonna fall over gunjan
she shut her eyes and realised tht the soft hit which she expected dint come instead she hit sumthin hard n fell she felt strong arms around her
she slowly opened her eyes to find herself on top of benji
B-ouch!pata nahin main har baar gentlemen kyun ban jaata hoon!
Sh- blushes furiously n gets up n then helps benji "Sorry benji main bohut excited ho gaye thi.."
B- baap re sheena mujhe nahin pata tha ki tum hume is tarah welcome karogey"
Sh- sorry! n thnx woh to achha hua tumne sambhal liya warna gunjan ko chot lag jaati"
B-"hey main mazaak kar raha tha..chill"
Sh- smiles "chalo andar chaley samrat aur uday abhi thodi der pehle aaye ..woh donon fresh ho rahe hain
Benji looks towards gunjan just as he had expected she was looking away he held her hand firmly n squeezes it Gunjan looks at him n smiles...this doesnt goes unnoticed by sheena but she decides to discuss abt it later they had loads of time to catch up
Benji bents to take his bag
Sh- woh chhod do ramesh hai na saman le aaega
B-ok Gunjan chale?
G- hann
after looking around for a while
G- sheena tumhara ghar bohut achha hai
Sh- Gunjan yeh hamara ghar hai hum sab ka ok?
Gunjan smiles
Sheena "achha chalo jaldi se jaake fresh ho jao phir baatein karte hain gunjan ur room is left side 2nd room n benji tumhara right pe 1st room hai"
Gunjan n Benji leave towards their own rooms

Sheena in the meanwhile arranges breakfast for evry1 in the kitchen
Samrat n Uday enter the dining area next to the kitchen

Sh-I knw! its so nice to meet up again samrat all bcoz of u if 3 yrs back u hadnt suggested this idea then we wudnt b here

at tht very moment gunjan enters the kitchen
uday gets up from his seat gives gunjan a hug n wishes her
Samat gets up too "Hi Gunjan" she hasnt changed at all shes still the same sweet gunjan i love
G- "Hi" he has changed so much gym jata hai shayad
U- aao na join karo hum sab tumhara hi wait kar rahe the
Gunjan takes a seat next to sheena all the while looking at samrat who at the moment was very interested in the texture of his plate
They all start hvin their breakfast
G-Sheena room bohut achha hai
Sh- m glad u liked it
U- to gunjan tumne padai ke baad ab kya decide kiya hai?
G- main? woh meri padai khatam ho gaye ab college main apply kiya hai as a professor nxt session main join karoongey

evry1 gets shocked. Samrat looks at gunjan not believin wat he heard

the outside scene was beautiful the sun was setting it was around 4:30...sheena has a beautiful house shes very lucky...she has evrything needed in life

I just stood there staring at him making his way over to me for what seemed like forever. Suddenly the time had stopped and everything was still, but him coming towards me. The lump formed in my throat, but I swallowed it hard.Okay Gunjan this is it, it’s where you choose to not let this phase you, or at least act like it doesn’t or stomp on his foot or slap him running out or talk to him as if nothing happened. I bundled up all of my courage and looked straight at him. He hadn’t changed in looks, just a bit more handsome and built up body i guess, but I didn’t want to think about that so I pushed it away. He smiled when he was in front of me and I could tell it was forced, but mine was too, so what did it matter? It doesn’t matter;oh whom r u kidding it does gunjan u ..u still love him!
S- "chashmish" he said in a pleading manner
i looked at him. the way he said my name had shivers down my spine noone had called me tht for the past 3 yrs! gunjan get a grip dont let him dazzle u like this
S-"chashmish i"
G- angrily "wat samrat?ab kya kehna hai? ki jo hua woh sab ek ghalti thi?"
Uday enters "hey m back" ....seeing gunjan n sammy standing close to each other "ohh ma bad i'll leave, u guys carry on"
G- "nahin uday bhaiya its ok" she goes n sits on her previous place in the dining table
Uday n sammy also get seated. Samrat all the while looking at gunjan with pleading eyes

In the meanwhile Benji helps sheena in cleaning the utensils

Sheena goes to the other side of the kitchen gets a device tht looked like a remote on clicking a button a door which they felt was the wall slid thru and revealed a huge room. they all entered
On one corner there was a shelve may cd n dvd's in the front wall was a large LCD tv there was a music player too. in the middle of the room was a center table with many bean bags and couches around. few guitars were hung on the wall n here too one entire wall was dedicated by sheena to them.The wall was covered with their photos but there was something different benji on approaching noticed tht the walls were painted.
U-"wow sheena"

Gunjan nupur n sheena get seated on the couch uday benji n samrat get seated on the bean bags
N- "to sheena tell us abt urself college ki student se actress banne tak ka safar kaisa raha?"

Sh- "oh well u all knw when i was in college i started with small ads n all as a model then later i got a side role in a film.well it was pure luck the actress refused to do the role at the last moment coz it was negative the director thought i had potential or rather noone was willing to do it nyways i took up the role n well evry1 appreciated the film n my acting n then well here i am with several film offers"
B- it was quite interesting but the way sheena had said it again had him thinking..was it only him or she really isnt happy?but why! i guess m tired need some sleep with tht he pushes the thought away "ya u were gud"
Sh- "so samrat aur uday tum donon basketball team main..how much time did it take to be in the team?"
S- "well maine aur uday ne finally decide kiya ki basketball was our goal n we went for it together n ofcourse we both were appreciated for our skills n playing tactics n got selected as time went on we improved n i became the captain of the team"
U- "n i an important part of it! aur nupur tum MNC main kaam karti ho na mayank ke saath"
N- "haan mayank humari team ka head hai aur main uske under kaam karti hoon..by god bohut mehnat karni padti hai. mayank isiliye to mere saath nahin aa paya."
she looks at gunjan.. she was lost in her own world n had not uttered a word.. aha i've got an idea!

nupur looks at others n winks. Everyone gets relieved

N-still looking at the other side "ab padai teri di se zyaada important ho gaye"
G-"di woh" tears start forming in her eyes
S- sees this "bas bhi karo nupur usko rula diya"
N- gets shocked n turns to gunjan "Hey gun main to mazak kar rahi thi" she goes n puts her arm around her
B- "Nupur thoda extreme ho gaya"
N- "hann woh gun sorry pls maaf kar de main to mazaak kar rahi thi itni excitement main to bhool hi gaye ki tu"
G- "its ok di"
N- "sorry" gets seated
N- just to lighten up the mood
"waise Uday bhaiya ab to aap famous ho gaye ho koi mili ya nahin?"
U- "hee hee woh kya hai na nupur mili to lekin usne mujhe 3 mahine main hi chhod diya"
N- "haye! kyun?"
U- "usko samrat pasand aa gaya" samrat looks at uday angrily
"relax dude m kiding ... waise ab hum ek doosre ke baare main sab jaante hain!"
Sh- "shayad nahin" sheena interrupts looks at samrat n then gunjan

S- samrat understands wat sheena meant then remembering abt his promise to mayank interupts b4 any1 cud say nything
"nahin! i mean main thak gaya hoon araam kar leta hoon waise bhi 7 baj rahe hain ab kal subah milte hain aur mayank bhi to aayega na"
B- "haan main bhi kaafi thak gaya hoon neend bhi poori nahin hui"
N- "arrey yeh ek dum se kya hua?"
G- gets up " kuch nahin di main bhi sone ja rahi hoon .."
Sh- "hann woh kya hai na nupur yeh sab yahan 11 baje pohuche aur phir araam bhi nahin kiya safar ki thakan to rehti hai na"
U- "koi baat nahin nupur main aur sheena hain na hum baat karte hain"
they bid goodnight to each other
G- "Um I’ll see you 2mrw bye!" I smiled walking away, but as soon as they could no longer see my face I let it fall to show how I was really feeling right now, which was not good i could feel samrat n benji's eyes on me while i climbed the staircase but i could not turn.. I ran into my own room closing the door and locking it sliding down to the floor against it and then realized I was crying. I kept trying to wipe away the tears but they kept coming.

2 1/2 yrs back

"Well well looks like the match is in hands of the new player in the Tigers team Uday."
Everyone in the audience were screaming "UD! UD!" the cheerleaders of the team were dancing
Uday with his brilliant ability to dodge the players was heading towards the basket
i watched from the front bench among the audience. Yes after 6 mnths of seperation i had decided to surprise samrat by appearing on this very important players selection match.
"Oh God pls pls uday bhaiya u can do it u can do it"
"and player is ready to go for a basket n ooooh it missed but the ball is again in his hands n he passes it to player 11 Samrat"
The audience screams with even more energy "SAMMY!! SAMMY!!"
I looked over at him there he was his face fixed with concentration, i knew he will do it, he can.
"and player 11 is heading in his full speed towards the basket .yes frnds one more basket and tigers will win but it is hard to manage as they hv got only 15 seconds"
I heard the commentator over the loud voice of cheering
"come on sammy u can do it!"
"AND BASKET. TIGERS TEAM HAS WON THE MATCH"
Every1 in the crowd screamed with happiness.
"The audience is very happy, well congratulations Tigers a well played game,the whole basketball court as you can see is crammed with players n coaches wishin each other on their victory the cheerleaders too,"
U- looked at sammy in amusementas he saw a girl come all over samrat.
commentator- "ohh and look at the lucky boy being kissed by one of the cheerleaders, might b his girlfried huh?"
Gunjan's pov
I just stood there staring at him. Girlfriend? samrat's girlfriend!?and samrat. It seemed as if i was frozen at my place i couldnt move. I felt my heart shatter to pieces. i dint even had the strength to breathe. He had lied to me all this time.

Udays expression turned from amusement to shock he looked around to find tht the audience was screaming and some wolf whistling and among them at the front bench was gunjan. "Gunjan!?"
S- hearing her name brought him back to his senses he pushed the girl away from him. The girl looked at him in confusion. Samrat turned to Uday "ya u r ryt. tht shouldnt have happened"
U-"No dude Gunjan there"
S-"Kya!? Kahan?"
He looked at the direction where Uday was pointing.
Samrat's pov
True Gunjan was there. The sight of her caused me mmense pain one he had never felt. She was completely heartbroken her face tear streaked.Gunjan turned and headed to the exit.

I pushed n ran past everyone towards gunjan.It was very difficult as people were stopping me every now n then to wish me
I ignored them all.Gunjan was more important.
I saw her heading towards the wash room.
S- "Gunjan"
she had heard me i was surei gathered speed & walked faster but my legs didnt seem to work mayb coz of the exhaustion of the game i finally caught up with her n caught her hand she turned
I wanted to kill myself for this i had caused her so much pain.Her expression changed from hurt to tht of cold hatred
G- "DONT U DARE EVEN TOUCH ME!!!" she yelled as though she was disgusted by our close proximity and yanked her hand away.
I stepped forward without touchin her in any way
"Gunjan wat u saw was"
G- " WASTHE TRUTH!"she yelled again
S- "no gunjan listen to me first"
G- "NO I WONT" she yelled again her expression was filled with hatred n disgust
S- "pls can we settle this politely log kya sochengey"
G- "log kya sochengey!? u knw wat I DONT CARE!...
S- "Gunjan please"i pleaded her
G- she seemed to hv agreed as she took a deep breathe n looked at me.Her expression still held the cold hatred towards me "Wat Samrat i came here to surprise u! i thought u wil b happy seeing me here but u ...u broke my heart samrat"
S- "Gunjan i dint mean to. Trust me"
G-"thts wat i cant samrat! i hv seen it with my own eyes u n ur girlfriend..kk" She turned not able to continue
S- "Gunjan i dont knw tht gal u r makin it a big issue"
She turned again
G- Samrat! i cant believe u. you think wat happened was nothing!?
S- no i meant tht this all things happen gunjan! tomorrow i will b a famous player.. these all things happen and i love u gunjan..they r just fans"
G- "FINE then stay with ur fans .....m leaving"
S- "Gunjan! TUM ITNI SI BAAT SAMAJH KYUN NAHIN SAKTI!!" i yelled at her angrily completely losin my control
G- "Kyunki main tumhare tarah nahin hoon..meri soch alag hai! mujhe pehley hi samajh jaana chahiye tha ki tum yeh relationship handle nahin kar paogey. Isliye behtar hoga tht we end it right here"
I looked at Gunjan not believing wat i had just heard
she turned around "Gunjan tum itni chhoti si baat ki wajah se"
G- "chhoti si baat tumhare liye hai samrat mere liye nahin"
i held her hand she looked at me with full hatred though i could see the hurt clear in her eyes
S- "Do u really mean it. u want to end this all"
G- "yes i really mean it"
S- but gunjan i love
G- i find it hard to believe she said it bitterly
S-"Then how the hell am i supposed to make u believe it!!" i yelled losin my control again
G- "You dont have to ..u hv proved it!" with tht she walks off
S- "Gunjan NO!"
she turned
"Dont ever call ma again" with tht she left
fine if this is wat she wants than be it!
with that i walked back into the locker room.
As expected Uday was waiting for me there. he looked at me questioningly
"later" was all i could muster
he dint push it.Mayb he felt my anger.

I saw gunjan all the while heading towards her room her back was towards me but i knew she was hurt. this was the time i had come to get my love back and i will! with tht i bid gudnite to evry1 n headed upwards. I went straight towards her room when suddenly i felt a hand at my shoulder i turned to find benji standing next to me.
B- No dude u hv hurt her already dont break her further
S- wat! benji maine kuch nahin kiya!
B- samrat main sab jaanta hoon ok isliye behtar yahi hai ki tu apne kamre main chale jao
S- Jo tum jaante ho woh sach nahin hai. i said earnestly

S- maine phir se phone kiya tha ..to gunjan ne kaha ki main use baar baar phone karke pareshan na karoon.

Gunjan wakes up to find nupur all ready n set to head downstairs
N- "arrey gunjan tum uth gaye chalo achha hua jaldi se fresh ho jao mayu aane wala hai na to aaj main sab ke liye nashta banaongey"

Nupur hugs gunjan "chalo ab jaldi fresh ho jao"
G- "ok par di mera wait karna main bhi help karne aati hoon"
Nupur leaves n Gunjan gets up to freshen up
IN the Kitchen
N- chalo sheena ke liye sandwhiches ho gaye ab parathe banati hoon
After a while uday comes down in a sleepy mood n gets seated on the dining table..as he lays his head down the delicious smell of paratha's reaches him.He immediately jerks up n heads towards the kitchen
He sees nupur n gets surprised the skill & technique with which she was woking was admirable.
Infact she was so busy she dint even notice him! on the stove tea was gettin ready, coffee in the maker,paratha on the hot fry pan n nupur doughing some more flour n a plate of sandwhiches all set in the tray with some apple juice
U- "Nupur! main help karta hoon"
Nupur turns to fing uday standing next to her "Nahin Uday bhaiya yeh main kar loongey aur waise bhi aap kahan kitchen main..
U-"arrey tum jaanti nahin ho akele rehna pada na isliye sab seekh liya, chalo ab mujhe help karne do"

Gunjan enters n sees uday n nupur fighting she looks around to find the tea kettle boiling the tea spillin out from it n the parathas turnin black in the hot pan
She rushes towards the stove n turns it off immediately
Nupur stops seeing gunjan's immediate action. "Haye! thnx gunjan Uday bhaiya chaliye bahar jaldi" & starts pushin uday towards the door
U- "ok par haath door rakho meri shirt naye hai kharab na ho jaye"
N- looks at her hands they were covered in dough n flour "ohh sorry"

Nupur turns to find gunjan makin paratha's
N- "Gunjan main bana loongey"
G- "nahin di main parathe bana deti hoon aap chai aur coffee serve kar dijiye"
Nupur "hmm ok"
she approaches gunjan
N- "achha to aalo ke parathe ban rahe hain" puts her arm around gunjan's shoulder with a teasing look"to meri behen ko isliye parathe banane hain...samrat special hmm"
Gunjan stops her work n looks at nupur
I have to tell her abt us..this cant continue!
Doorbell rings
N- "Mayank hoga! main abhi dekh ke aati hoon"

Nupur came running out of the kitchen after hearing the doorbell
"Hi nupur" I called
Nupur still at full speed turned her head n wished"Hi" n bashed into benji who was entering the kitchen
B- "hey nupur sambhal ke ...sab ladkiyon ko main hi mila hoon kya takrane ke liye...waise i dont mind"
N- "sorry arrey jaldi hato mayu darwaze main wait kar raha hai"
Nupur reaches the door n just as she was about to turn the knob she notices here hands covered in flour
"Arghhh!" I could actually hear her grindin her teeth.
She turned towards the dining table and saw me looking at her
N- "Samrat aake darwaza kholna pls"
"ofcoz aap ke liye to jaan bi hazir"I replied
I headed towards the door n opened it.There mayank stood he had not changed at all, his face was same serious types n his clothing too. "Hey Mayank kaisa hai tu" I said n hugged him
M- "Main theek tu bata" with tht he puts his bag at the corner table n shuts the door
S- "main mast..doston ke beech"
All this while nupur's face was glowing, she dint move her eyes from mayank's face & here our mayank had not even wished her!
Mayank turned to nupur n hugged her as if he had heard wat i just thought. Surprising!
Together we all headed in. Benji n UD wished him too.Gunjan entered in the dining area to wish mayank i guess because i was so captivated by her beauty at that very moment she looked like an angel landed from heaven! Her hair were little wet n left open. She was wearing a silver n white churidar n a cute heart pendant, who must have given it to her?
"Earth to Samrat"
Nupur waved in front of me "By god Samrat Gunjan ke upar itne fida ho dekh to aise rahe ho jaise saalon se nahin dekha usse"
Mayank & Gunjan both looked at me.
G- "ah mere parathe kahin jal na jaaye!" with tht she headed towards the kitchen
N- "Hann pata hai samrat gunjan ne.."
M- "umm Nupur main abhi abhi aaya hoon mera kamra to dikhao mujhe aur sheena kahan hai ?dikh nahin rahi?"
I gripped at the change of topic
"Hann sheena bahar joggin karne gaye hai ...u knw by the seashore"
N- "to phir use jaldi se bula lo nashta lagne wala hai"
I was abt to leave when benji interrupted
B- "tu beth main bulata hoon"
N-"hann yeh theek rahega, samrat tum betho gunjan ke haath ke garma garam parathe aate hi honge"
I forced a smile at her
N- "chalo mayu main tumhe kamra dikhati hoon"
Nupur n mayank leave
U- "Gunjan jaldi karo peth main chuhe kood rahe hain"
Gunjan answers from the kitchen "Ji Uday bhaiya abhi laye.. do minute"
"main uski help karta hoon"I said
U- try karle main kitchen gaya to nupur ne mujhey bahar nikal diya"
"par meri i mean gunjan mujhe bahar nahin nikalegey" I replied
with tht i headed towards the kitchen.

Benji's pov
I reached the seaside to find Sheena in her tracksuit sitting on a high blackstone looking towards the wide sea.
I approached her "Sheena.. yahan kya kar rahi ho? mera matlab tum to joggin karne aaye thi yahan akele aise kyun bethi ho?"
S "aise hi"
"achha chalo nashta lag gaya hai" I said
"hmm tum jao main aati hoon thodi der main" she replied
I offered her my hand "Nahi yeh nahin chalega chalo mere saath"
"Benji please" she looked at me, there was something in her eyes as if she was pleading me to stay whereas saying just the opposite.
I climbed up n sat next to her..i could feel her gaze on me all the time. I looked at her she held my gaze n then turned back to the wide sea
"Nice view" I said after a while
"Ya i love this place its so"she paused searching for a word "..peaceful n nice here"
"ya u r ryt one may come here n feel as if his life has been held for a second that theres no hurry to get somewhere or do anything and thats y... u r here"
She suddenly turned to me at this. I couldnt make out wat she felt abt this her expression was unreadable.
"U know u are a good actress"I said hoping she gets the double meanin in my words
she sighed
"You can share ur feelings with me, wat is it thats bothering you?"
"Benji that was very insightful of you, u r right m a gud actress too"
"and?" i prodded her
"its like..like" she looked at me again
"you can trust me"
"its like only i know wat m feeling..i hide my emotions from evryone fearing always that i will be considered a fool for carrying my heart in my hands so free..i wait benji thts wat i hv been doing since my career started wait for someone who actually knows wat i feel wat i want"
she paused again though this time i dint break it i knew she wont continue if i did so
"Benji after my career started i dated many but i always felt that they...they love my money, my fame, my glory... not me" she bent her head.
"Hey sheena! dont be so hard on yourself ...god has made someone somewhere for all of us. m sure there is someone for u too n i hope you meet him soon"
"i know n i hope so too but its not only tht benji. I feel alone ..i am alone"
"hey m always there for u"
"we havent stayed in touch benji we hvnt talked for the past 3 years!" she said softly
I felt a lump in my throat there was a sadness in her tone, she was right we werent in touch.. n here i am consoling her that m always there..how stupid of me
"m sorry"
"theres no need to b sorry,its not ur fault its fate"
"But now...now m here n i promise i'll always b there for u"
Sheena looked at me n smiled
thank god i could make her smile
"Wanna race?" I asked her
"Wat?" she asked clearly not understanding wat i meant
"Wanna race all the way home?"
She grinned "ya sure"
We both jumped off the rock
"ok ready set"
"Hey wait let me take off my shoes"
"why?" I asked
"Its fun to run barefoot"
I laughed "then let me try it too" i too removed my shoes
"Ok ready set go"
We both ran towards the house with our shoes held in our hands and other one held together when we were almost close i left her hand n let her take over n reach first but instead she held my hand n pulled me "Come on Benji dont b a gentleman"
we both laughed n reached the home finally all out of breath.
"That was fun just like the old days" we entered together.

In the meanwhile
Samrat's pov
I entered the kitchen to find gunjan making paratha's. I approached her "Hey"
She turned "Hey"
"let me help"I offered
"No its ok nashta do minute main tayyar ho jayega" she replied
"Par agar main help karoonga to aur jaldi ho jayega"
"hmm theek hai woh sandwhich aur juice ki tray bahar le jaogey?"
"ya sure" I lifted the tray n set it on the dining table. I entered the kitchen again to find gunjan setting the tray with tea n coffee.
She looked at me"Here take this tray too"
I did as she said.
This time she was setting the tray for boiled eggs n yoghurt
"You are looking really beautiful chashmish" i felt like slapping myself for saying tht
i looked at her she was looking at me waith an expression as if reading me
"thanks" was all she replied.
"Gunjan why are u doing this?" ok i should ask that to myself y r u doin this? u came here to help her dude!
"I am doin wat?" She replied again denying everything.
"Nothing here i'll take the tray" she turned back to the stove i picked up the tray n headed to the dining when i heard gunjan
had she screamed? I turned back with the tray in my hand
On entering the kitchen i saw gunjan holding her hand tight
I left the tray n approached her "wat happened?"
"Nothing" she turned to the tap
"Gunjan show me ur hand"
"its ok"
"Show me ur hand" with that i pulled her hand in to mine
"Ahh!"
"sorry" I said
"its ok samrat leave my hand i will mend it myself"
"no let me do it" i observed her hand "its not that hurt it will b fine if i apply some cream"
"Samrat its ok"
"Its not ok Gunjan u r hurt, where is the cream? wait let me check"
I headed towards the kitchen cupboards there must b a first aid somewhere!
I finally got it.
"Here show me ur hand"
I applied cream on her hand.
"There! is it hurting much?" i looked at her
"Not as much as wat u did does"
She left with the tray with paratha's towards the dining table. I followed with the other tray.
I had hurt her n she hasnt forgiven me yet. I have to do something wat should i do? Mayank !only he can help me.
In the dining area everyone was seated Sheena n Benji had just entered through the door both out of breath n laughing.
I guess later then..after all 2day is the grand day i have one month.

Nupur enters the room to find Gunjan sitting in her bed with eyes closed.
N- "Gunjan tu aaj kya pehnegey?"
Gunjan opens her eyes "ek churidar suit hai rakha wahi pehen loongey" she replied with no inerest
G-"aur app?
N-"maine na apne liye ek gulabi dress silwaya tha wahi pehnoongey! dekhogey?" I asked
G-"haan sure"
I held out the dress to gunjan from my suitcase.
"Kaisa hai?" i enquired
"Bohut achha hai di aur yeh colour aap ko bohut suit bhi karega" she replied.
hmm theres something wrong mujhe hi uska mood theek karna padega..
"Achha gunjan apna dress dikhana"
G- "di! jab pehnongey tab dekh lena"
N-"Arrey itni laziness bhi achhi nahin"
Someone knocks on the door
N-"kaun?"
It was sheena "I hope m not disturbing u guys"
N- "arrey nahin bilkul nahin andar aao na"
sheena enters with a shopping bag
"Actually main apna dress decide nahin kar pa rahi batao na in donon main se kaunsa achha hai?"
she pulls out 2 dresses from her shopping bag.
One dress was a combination of blue n black with spaghetti straps, at the front it showed the collarbone, the neck was V-shaped.
The other dress was strapless n back in color it had square shaped defined patterns all over which were glittering silver in the light.
"so?" sheena asked.
"I guess this black shiny one one! its stylish n trendy just like u n it will suit u too as u hv a perfect figure"
"thanks nupur" sheena replied with a smile "Gunjan tumhe kya lagta hai?"
"Tumpe donon hi achhe lagengey" she replied with a smile.
"hmm achha tum donon kya pehnogey?"
"main to yeh waala dress pehnoongey" I passed my dress to her
"wow its so pretty!"
"thnx" I replied.
Sh- "Aur gunjan tum?"
N-"wahi to main poch rahi thi par yeh keh rahi hai ki jab pehnoongey tab dekh lena"
Sh- Hey gunjan thts not done, chalo jaldi se tayyar ho jaate hain

G-"abhi to sirf 3 baj rahe hain"
"Gunjan tu bhi na time nahin lagega tayyar hone main?" I said
Sh- "Right! par time hume lagega gunjan to aise hi itni pyaari hai ki ise apne aap ko sawaarne ki zaroorat hi nahin padti"
"hann yeh baat to sahi hai meri gunjan hai hi itni pyaari par aaj tumhe bachne nahin doongey chalo jaldi utho!" I said
All three of us headed to the washrooms to change.

In The meanwhile
All the guys were chatting and having fun in the living room.
S- yaar yeh sheena nupur aur gunjan kahan hai?
B- arrey woh sab to tayyar ho rahi hain
U- abhi se? abhi to sirf 3 baj rahe hain
Samrat turns to mayank to talk abt gunjan but instead finds him lost in his own world.
"Mayank" no reply
Samrat waves his hand infront of mayank n says louder "Earth to Mayank!"
M- huh!?
Everyone starts laughing
S-"kiske khayalon main khoye hue the?"
U-"obviously nupur ke"
they slap hands together
M- "nahin aisi baat nahin hai"
S-"chhupa kyun raha hai dude hum sab jaante hain tu use bohut chahta hai"
Mayank smiles but slowly it fades away
S-"kya hua dude any problem?"
M-"yaar kuch samajh nahin aa raha!"
B- "Problem bata mai hoon.." he looks at others "hum hain na!"
M-"woh main..main "
U-"yeh yeh bakri ke tarah main main band kar aur aagey bhi bol!"
M-"maine nupur ke liye ek surprise plan kiya hai"
S- "nice kya karne wala hai?"
M-" use propose"
Benji & Uday- "kYA!?
M- "umm hann abhi nahin karna chahiye kya?"
B- "nahin hamara matlab th ki abhi tak propose nahin kiya?"
M- "nahin ..maine socha ki isse achha time aur koi ho hi nahin sakta, sab doston ke beech, theek usi jagah jahan se hamari zindagi ki asal shuruaat hui thi"
U-"nice idea dude i say go for it!"
M- "thnx uday i just hope evrything works out as planned!"
S-"chill mayank hum sab hain na tumhari help ke liye, waise plan kya hai?"
M-"bohut hi simple hai"

She pouted "Nupur!"
N-"hann?"

Nupur laughs

Sheena turns to look at nupur n pouts even more

Sheena looks at gunjan, she was looking really sweet plain n simple, beauty was in her simplicity!
How sad Samrat and Gunjan are not together anymore. Hey i have got an idea!"

G- "haan achha nahin lag raha kya?"
N- "achha hai pa bohut simple aur plain hai"

Nupur opens Gunjan's wardrobe as expected it was arranged in a very organized manner.

Sheena pulls a bag "ok gunjan now get ready!"
G- "hey i am ready"
sh- abhi kahan makeup karna baki hai accessories aur sandals select karna baki hai
G- no no its fine really

She looked beautiful as graceful as ever.Her eyes stooped on mayank. As she approached him they held their gaze, she turned red at the intensity of his gaze. Maynk helds out his hand to her she accepts it & stands next to him
"U look beautiful" Mayank beathed in to her ears, as he did so he could smell the peach scent of her skin he noticed her blush more n turn brick red.He puts his arm around her waist n pulls her closer which makes her turn a complete deep shade of scarlet.mayank had not been so romantic towards her in the past few months n today he dazzled her to no limits.
Benji, Samrat n Uday tried to avert their eyes from the lovely couple,not to appear to be eavesdropping which they were in there special moment.
Gunjan n sheena came downstairs together.

N-"hmm ho sakta hai"
M- thnk god!
Uday n samrat bring the cars, Everyone gets seated in the two cars.
Benji,Sheena,Samrat n Uday in one and Mayank, Nupur and Gunjan in the other.
B- Hey Diya aur RV r comng but wat abt CJ?
Sh- She will b there too i got a call from her in the morning.
B- thts gud
Sh- i know n m so glad that this idea worked
B- ya i was nervous n well m ashamed abt it now but i thought u guys must hv forgotten abt it
S- theres nothing to b ashamed abt, even we had the same thoughts
B- ya actually the day was approaching n i dint knw wat to do n then i got a call from sheena, n well here we are!

Samrat takes a turn n parks the car outside the club.

They all enter the disco club together.
They headed to their usual spot n found tht it was not occupied.
Samrat grins "lets go!"
They all settle on their table
U- "feels good" benji grins "ya"
Music was blaring n many ppl were dancing on the dance floor, the bar was filled n the drinks corner was crowded too.
N- This place has changed a lot
M- ya
Sh- you know at times i came here,hey u guys remember tht gal who had a crush on benji?
B- wat abt her?
Sheena laughs" she told me tht now u hv left me can i give her ur no."
B shocked "thnk god tumne use mera no. nahin diya!"
Sheena smiles "ya i figured u wud not like it, she was obsessed over u!"
"ya n hey u know na tht it was our decision i dint leave u!" Benji asked in an alert tone.

The talk caused uncomfortable atmosphere around each other.
U- so wat do we do now?

S-I'll order drinks for everyone.

Uday looks at the empty bottle in their table.
"Truth or Dare!"

N- "Nahin its the best! aur waise bhi ek doosre ke baare main jo baatein reh gaye hain woh aise hi pata chal jaengey...so I'll spin first!"
The bottle spins n stops at Uday.

Uday looks at the spot where nupur was pointing "ya shes a hot babe"

I looked down at it shaking my head, I then looked up firmly n put on my glasses "I'll be back from the washroom, my voice dint show the hurt i headed towards the washroom, as the tears started, I just kept walking and walking. my heart was broke with noone to pick up its pieces...I cried miserably once i reached the washroom.My fear had been true but this time i had no control over it for i had let my heart to myself not guarded it..i had let it take its flight in the open air..n it got snapped.Why why does this happen to me!? My cell was ringing..i wiped my tears n checked the screen it was y secretary ..hadnt i told them not to disturb me!? i refused the call n looked at myself on the face

CJ- hann yaar woh kya hai na dubai main event manager ka course kiya aur wahi join kar liya is sab main time kaise chala gaya pata hi nahin chala. Waise sheena aur uday se baat hoti rehti thi.

He takes the dupatta off the book n snatches it before gunjan could hide it away
S-"New Moon by Stephanie Meyer? yeh to fiction book hai na?"
"hann" gunjan replies looking away embaressed
"Tumhe fiction bhi pasand hai mujhe pata nahin tha" Samrat says
"Nahin woh actually hamare portion main woh Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte book hai na, woh maine padi thi aur is wali story ke main leads ko woh book bohut pasand thi, so i thought of giving it a try, aur waise" Gunjan takes the book back from samrat "yeh fiction to hai par isme jo main characters ke emotions, problems aur feelings hain woh kafi real hain"

Mayank interrupts "woh koi chhoti si baat nahin thi"

M- nupur let me complete

mayank completes it for her and gets up in anger "chhod dene ka faisla kar liya hai!"

They both say together suddenly

& then laugh

Mayank smiles n says sorry to nupur
N- its ok par ek pal ke liye to meri jaan hi nikal gaye by god!
Mayank then realises with a sudden shock.

Nupur gets shocked too"late ho gaye!!"
They both hold hands n head to their classrooms

Nupur approaches them n sits next to mayank.
She takes samrat's hand from mayank's n picks up cotton to mend is hand
Samrat looks up surprised
N- tum bhi na, apne aap ko chot pohuchan eki kya zaroorat thi? ek dum bachcho jaisi harkaten karte ho.
Samrat smiles mayank looks at nupur curiously
S- tumne mujhe maaf kardiya?

He finally gives uo his attempts and heads downstairs to get a glass of water.
It was till dark outside.He felt the smell of coffe int he air, he entered the kitchen and poured himself a glass of water, He entered the dining area to find gunjan facing the sea sipping a cup of coffee
She had not noticed him yet he pulled a chair n got seated. On hearing the noise gunjan turned.
They both stared at each other neither sure as wat to say. Gunjan finally decides to break the silence."Itni raat ko yahaan?"
S- "neend nahin aa rahi tum?"
Gunjan ignores the qs
G- we need to talk abt wat happened yesterday
S- yes we do
Gunjan sits opposite to samrat facing him,she notices the band-aid in his hand
S- gunjan m sor..
Gunjan interrupts "I have a suggestion"
Samrat sighs"wat is it?"
G- lets just ignore wat happened in the past yrs n spent this month as" she pauses".. friends"
Samrat smiles "ok"
G- chot kaise agey?she asks looking away

Gunjan gets up n heads to the stairs to leave
S- chashmish" he holds her hand to stop her she doesnt turn though "u hvnt forgiven me yet"

gunjan faces him, samrsta leaves her hand

G-"Kyunki main tumhari tarah nahin hoon" Gunjan raises her voice a little"main sirf apne baare main nahin sochti samrat hum sab ahan milkar kuch khushi batne aaye hain aur main nahin chahti ki hamare beech jo hua uski wajah se yeh special mahina kharab ho!"
Samrat sighs
"Chashmish itni nafrat?"

S- "Gunjan sorry i.."

Gunjan dint know wat to say she hadnt meant a word! It just spilled out in her anger. Sure samrat was like that before but then he had changed & now he was hurt.
Samrat turns to the window he could see the sun rising.
G- "Samrat I.."
S-"Its ok, i guess u r ryt"
with that samrat turns towards the main door
G-"Samrat"
Samrat stops & looks at her woth the same hurt in his eyes
S-& dont worry we wil b friends for ...this month"
Samrat leaves
Gunjan stood there looking at the door from which samrat had just gone
"what did i do?"Gunjan said softly in agony.Silent tears were flowing from her eyes.

I was not sure where i was heading to, i just walked as far way i can get, away from all this, my heart felt like a hollow place, it hurt! i could hear every word she had said!

Aghh i walk faster trying to get away from all this, but her voice seemed to b following me evrywhere

Gunjan,Nupur & Mayank were seated on the dining table having breakfast. They hadnt spoke a word abt the night before to Gunjan, meanwhile gunjan dint seem to b at ease at all she kept looking at the door after evry few seconds.
N- Gunjan, baar baar darwaze ki taraf kyun dekh rahi ho?
Gunjan turns to nupur
"woh.woh main.. main di benji aur sheena abhi tak aaye nahin wahi dekh rahi thi"

Uday enters the kitchen looking all fresh

U- "sure" he gets seated

U- 2 baje woh CJ se baat kar raha tha
N- kya uday bhaiya aap bhi na, no wonder ki woh abhi tak so rahi hai

Gunjan looks at the door again, she had been waiting for him right here but he hadnt showed up yet.

Door opens n samrat eners with a packet in his hand

Samrat handsover the packet to nupur n gets seated. He takes a sideward glance at gunjan, she was looking at her plate which was empty.On the dining table sandwhiches, boiled eggs & pancakes.
"Lets dig in!"
Nupur gets the Jalebi's in a plate.
CJ joins them too
"Hey evry1"
S-"Hey CJ come hv some jalebi"
CJ-Jalebi!! Yummy!
CJ takes a seat.
cj- "Just love em, so crispy n sweet!"
S- Just like our Jannuable Gunjan" i stopped realising wat he had said
Everyone at the table stare at samrat.
M- eh ehmm hann aur hum sab nupur ko bhi to woh ramesh ki dukan ki chatpati chaat kehte the, full of variety
CJ- hann
The converstaion came to a wierd stop, everyone sombred up.
Gunjan looks at everyone silently hving breakfast.
Gunjan u hv taken a decision now follow it
G- exactly aur samrat ko bhi to hum rasgulle se compare karte the, ek dum soft n sweet.
Instead of the situation becoming lighter it became even more wierd
S- if gunjan wants this then it will b so
"comeon guys tum sab chup kyun ho? yahi to kehte the hum sab ek doosre ko!"
N- ya
U- hey tumlog mujhey kya bulate the? woh main bhool gaya
CJ- bhool gaye chalo koi baat nahin hum yaad dila dete hain
They all say together "Nariyal!"

CJ grins- "hann nariyal ki tarah bahar se strong aur hard par andar se khali aur soft!"

In the meanwhile
I turned to Benji he was looking far at the sea as if searchin for an end. We were sitting on the same high black stone.
Sh- to tum roz jogging karte ho?
Benji smiles n turns to her "nahin, I thought of accompanying u"
Sheena smiles"Its almost 9:00 now"
B- ya
Sh- lets go hv some breakfast
Benji hesitates n then looks up "sure"
I jumped off the stone, Benji jumps too and then unexpectedly grabs my hand n looks at me angrily.
I was aware of the close proximity among us but dint mind,
B- Aise kyun jump kiya lag jaati to?
Sh- aise kaise lag jaati?aur lag bhi jaati to koi baat nahin
B- Koi baat nahin aise kaise? Sheena the stone is of ur height! itni height se jump nahin karna aaj ke baad!"
Sh- ok ok relax nahin karoongey.
Benji calms down n then finds tht he was holding sheena too close, he steps back looking away.

The very words ached my heart, he had fallen in love with her 3 yrs back just after we had ended our relationship.

This shocked me n relieved me quite the same

They greet each other.
Mayank was talking to CJ about his work n office. Samrat & uday were eating
"To guys aaj kya plan hai?"Benji asks grabbing a sandwhich n gets seated.
Sh- "pata nahin how abt staying in 2day, we can watch a movie n order pizza?"

B- RV & diya r sleeping?
S- yeah they had a long journey must b tired.

At tht moment RV enters
RV- Hey guys!
Everyone greet him. RV gets seated n looks at the breakfast table

RV- Shes in the shower.

RV stops & looks at Sheena

CJ and mayank turn to the group at the change of topic.

Samrat,RV n Benji were playing playstation. Diya & Gunjan were reading magazines.
Nupur was filling up sheena abt evrything tht happened the night before.
CJ, Maynk & Uday were up in CJ's room.
M-Guys yeh to clear hai ki samrat sach nahin bol raha
CJ- hmm
U- Lekin sach kya hai?
M-pata nahin samrat subah se ghayab tha na?
U- haan
M-zaroor kuch hua hai
CJ- hmm mujhey lagta hai Gunjan se baat hui hai uski, lekin woh poora sach nahin bata raha
U- hann woh to hui hai par dost ban gaye theres something wrong there,bhala 2 saal ki naraazgi ek raat main khatam?aisa kaise ho sakta hai!
M- u r right
CJ- Samrat kuch nahin bataega aur na hi Gunjan! Hume khud hi pata lagana padega
U- kaise?
M- Dekho abhi to woh dost hain, unhen milane ki koshish karte hai, dheere dheere sach bhi samne aa jayega

After a lot of sguffling n rejecting Mayank finds a CD labelled as Friends Forever
M- yeh kya hai?
Sheena looks at the CD mayank was showing.
Sh- Oh MY GOD! Yeh yahan hai aur main aur main ise har jagah dhoond rahi thi
Sheena takes the CD from mayank.
Sh- "Guys yeh hamari videos hain, college times!
B- thts gr8
S- ya lets watch it!
N- hey give me 1 copy later
CJ- we all will get 1 copy, for now lets watch!
Sheena inserts the CD in the player. Diya switches off the light.
All of them get seated on the soft bed with pillows n popcorns.
Nupur & Mayank were on the right, lying down with his head on nupurs lap & n nupur combing her fingers thru his hair
RV & Dya next to them with RV's arms around Diya & diya with her head plopped on his shoulder.
Samrat,Sheena & Uday were sitting in the middle on support of the wall
Gunjan, Benji & CJ were seated on the left.
Sheena presses the play button & the video starts
Students were coming out from the bus. The bus was stopped by the side of the road. The view ahead was really pretty with beautiful lakes & cloudy sky with faroff cliffs blurredly visible.
Samrat was holding the camera the scene zoomed on Maynk & Nupur who were smiling n holdin hands lookin at the view ahead.
Samrat is not seen as he is holdng the camera
"Hey Lovebirds! "
They both turn "Zara hume bhi dekh liya karo, yeh hamari last trip hai yaar
Nuputr approaches samrat "Samrat aisi baatein mat kiya karo, college ke taraf se last trip hai, koi zindagi ka the end nahin hai!"
S- achha theek hai baba chalo apne aapko introduce karo
The camera zooms at Nupur with mayank at the background
Nupur clears her throat n mayank rolls his eyes at her
Nupur smiles "well abhi to trip suru hui hai, theres lots more fun to come yet! now we hv reached the famous place known for its scenic beauty, Ooty a beautiful place! The sky is covered in clouds i hope it rains too, then it will b sooo romantic just like the scene from the movie.."
Samrat shifts the camera to mayank "& mayank tumhe kaisa lag raha hai?"
Nupurs voice is heard at the back "Heyy! it was not over yet!!"
Mayank & Samrat laugh.
M- mere kaan dukh rahe hain, kuch sunaye nahin de raha koi mujhey bachao isse!!"
Mayank runs & nupur follows to hit him with her purse.
The video goes blank
Everyone was rollin wih laughter
N- oh god it was soo much fun then!
M- ya mayank grins
The next scene was of CJ,Diya, Uday Annie & Purab
Samrat had the camera still- Hey frnds!
They all greet him
S- hey thts Purab
D- n my sweetheart Annie too, i miss her so much!
RV- ya we will try to contact her too

The camera was on Diya who was looking at the far end of the bus n smiling

Rv joins them
Someone's voice diverts them
"ok students! now from here we will b going further higher but the bus cant go as the road is very unstable n not for buses for sure, so we r gonna walk, so lets get going!!"
Diya groans "Oh no!"
RV- app kahe to aapko apni baahon main utha le jaaye babes

Everyone was wierdly quiet.Samrat was looking at Gunjan, pleading with his eyes, gunjan was looking at her hands.
The scene changes to a beautiful fountain the water glittering like tiny diamonds in the sunlight.
The camera showed Ms Aha
U- there she is
D- aww she was such a sweetheart
G- ya i heard she got cancer then n went to America for her further treatment
D- wat!?
G- ya dint u guys know?
S- oh my god
CJ- do u knw nythin else abt it?
Sh- this is shocking
B- ya her treatment was a complete success, now shes residing there with her parents
U- ohh
D- thts gud.
U- so maam isnt this fountain beautiful
Aha- yes Uday its very pretty n romantic, see benji and sheena they both are clicking pics together, hope their love remains the same forever.
Uday zooms the camera at them.
Benji looked at Sheena, who was looking at the screen.
Mayank coughed
They both could feel others eyes on them but they both ignored it.
Sheena and benji had their arms around each other n were smiling at the camera nupur was holding.

The camera then zoomed on Samrat n Gunjan who were seated on a bench by the Fountain
U-& our Romantic couple the cool dude samrat n sweet n loving Gunjan
The scene was beautiful as tht from a movie. The fountain was glitering in the daylight.The sunlight fell on Samrat n Gunjan making them glow.
Samrat & Gunjan were smiling, Samrat leans towards gunjan n whispers something in her ear, gunjan smiles n looks up to find yet again Uday shooting all this.
G- Uday Bhaiya! she calls in a stern voice
U- mar gaya
S- uday ke bachche ruk tujhe privacy naam ki cheez pata nahin kya
Samrat runs towards the camera

The next vid was of the basketball match.
Samrat, Benji & Uday were playing in the excel college team.Diya,Annie and Sheena were in the cheerleading team.
Gunjan,Mayank,Nupur & CJ were seated among the audience cheering their team and frnds.
The camera was on RV, he made a basket which was followed by a huge applause from among the students.
S- Hey yeh finals match hai na?
Sh- hann hum sab ko college ke taraf se CD's mili thi tumhare pass nahin hai kya?
S- i dont knw shayad kho gaye
Sh- hota hai isiliye maine is CD main match ka end save kar diya tha
B- thts gr8
RV- i hv the CD with me,
D- liar i hv it with me u dint even keep it properly back then
U- haha well it was fun we won the match princi was soo happy abt tht
Sh- ofcoz excel team main best players jo the!
RV- aur hume support karne ke liye beautiful babes

The camera zoomed on Gunjan. She was standing on the tip of her toes and screaming loudly along with CJ and Nupur.Mayank was sitting with his hands covering his ears, though he was enjoying the match but not the noise!

The camera shifted to the basketball court
"And the excel college team needs 2 more baskets to win the match! and the ball now is with player 13 captain of excel college Samrat!Hes moving with complete excellence & skill"
RV- I miss all this it was fun
S- well basketball has always been my passion, i could leave it at no cost!
U- ya i dint knw wat to do & gave basketball a try n here i am!
N- Well but we cant say tht we r satisfied with our lives are we?
Nupur looked at mayank questioningly
None of them spoke a word
M- no we can never say tht, coz nothin can b perfect.
This too followed by a silence evry1 knew their lives were incomplete even if they enjoyed it, sumthin was missing. For once they never thought but when they had to stop, stay still n not rush they all had realised at one point tht they had never achieved to their fullest, something was always or had to b always left behind.
D- we arent.
U- lets all make a wish for wat we want in our lives
All of them close their eyes at the same time & make their wishes.
They then looked at each other n smiled.
Sh- lets hope for the best.
"& the excel team has won the match!"
N- ohh we forgot abt the match!
They all turned to the screen
Everyone was on the basketball court wishing n huggin each other singin to their victory! their pride which they gave to excel college.
Gunjan ran from her place and hugged samrat he lifted her & turned he round which tool gunjan by surprise completely, he brought her down n whispered in her ear
Sh- wat did u whisper?
S- me? no i dint
M- yes u did

Everyone cleared from the court n then the trophy giving ceremony took place, the entire team smiled at the camera, grinnin on their victory!

The next vid started. It was of their graduation day.They were all dressed in blue robes. Gunjan was giving the valedictorian speech
Principal, Trustees, Faculty members, family, friends and fellow graduates, today is a day to be thankful and to be inspired.

Sheena took out from her bag, a threefourrth sleeved blue top which ended just above her knees with black baggy pants. Nupur babes try this on.

Sh- sighs "Mujhey pata tha ki nupur ko main mana longey tumhe manane main time lagega"
G- Sheena, main is tarah ke kapde nahin pehnti aur na hi pehnoongey!"Gunjan turns with her hands folded in a stubborn manner
Sheena felt like laughing, the way gunjan had reacted was so adorable
Sheena pouts n stands in front of Gunjan" I knw gunjan par sirf ek hi match ki to baat hai gunjan, tht too among all us frnds! comeon dont b a spoilsport!"
G- sheena main churidar main bhi khel sakti hoon, it doesnt makes a difference.
Their attention gets diverted by a knock on the door they turn to find CJ standing there, just like old colege times CJ was wearing a blue tank top with a blue one over it with beige pants.

D- Hey Guy..she stopped midway as she looked at Nupur and Gunjan & was shellshocked.

D- omg they look so pretty! it really suits u guys

Samrat in a red vest & black pants, Maynk wore his red shirt & black pants.RV wore his red T- shirt along with a black hooded sleeveless shirt on top & blue denim jeans a red dragon was was drwn on the back of his shirt.
Benji wore navy blue hooded shirt and black shorts, Uday wore his blue shirt with beige shorts.

All the guys gaped at Nupur n gunjan.Mayank being the first to come back to his senses shuts his mouth n smiles at them
RV- wow u two look different.

Sh- aur hum? she pouts
S- you all look gr8 lets start the match!
All of them divide in to two groups mayank looks at nupur and winks Nupur looks away blushing.
S- ok guys we got ot discuss some techniques
U- we too
All of them huddle in two circles Team A(Red) and Team B(Blue)
Team A
They put their arms around each other,somehow gunjan had ended up next to samrat, she could feel the warmth of his arm on her neck.His hand was settled on her shoulder, she seemed to b burnin at the very touch, her heart was speedin.
S- ok guys our strong players are RV & Mayank, sheena u r gud at making a basket but its easy to snatch the ball from u, so b careful. Gunjan he turns to her, he says in a gentle tone 'u knw basketball rules but u hv never played the game, hv u?"
G no
S- dont worry i'll back u up.RV take care sheena doesnt loses the ball.
RV- ok
S- mayank your snatchin techniques are really gud! They will help us win surely
M- hope so!

Mean while Team B
Uday,Nupur,Benji,Diya andd CJ hold hands and stand together.

Both the teams face each other.
S- All set?
U- yup!
The game starts with sammy taking the ball. He dribbles it along & passes it to RV. RV takes the ball and approaches the basket when CJ snatches the ball he takes it to the other side of the court & passes it to Uday who was not far waya oh oh wrong step mayank & Gunjan were covering Uday he wont b able to make it. Uday gets the ball but not being able to move passes it to Diya, who takes the ball and aims at the basket, it was a miss,nupur takes the ball n dribbles it aims again n this time they score!.
U- yes!
Nupur gets the ball, mayank easily snatches it away fro her & passes it to gunjan who was closest to him. Gunjan dribbles the ball & looks up to find uday approaching her she looks further to find RV waiting for her to pass the ball, she passes it, RV takes the ball n aims at the basket n they make it!.
The score was equal botht the teams had made 1 basket.
RV takes the ball and passes it to sheena, sheena takes the ball, but benji snatches it from her swiftly & moves to the other side of the court, samrat snatches it again aims at the basket and they make it.Team A was at a lead with 1 baset.
U- dang it!
Uday got the ball next he passed it to Dia. Dia dribbles the ball & just as she heads towards their basket she feels a creak in her nail.
D- oww my nail!. she observes her finger while gunjan takes the ball & passes it to mayank, mayank aims at th ebasket n they score!
U- guys buck up! n dids ur nail is fine! concentrate on the match!
Benji gets the ball he passes it to nupur who misses it & mayank takes th eball instead Uday snatches the ball from mayank & basket they score!
Team B had made 2 baskets & Team A had 3
Nupur takes the ball next dribbles it to her side,Maynk came to block her, she tried to doge him but he kept blocking her way. Maynk breathed in her ear. "u look hot" Nupur stood shellshocked mayank took the ball swiftly headed to his basket & they make it!
Nupur came out of her reverie
N- Hey! cheating!
S- wat?
N- "He ..."she doesnt continue further "Nothing"
The match continues Gunjan gets the ball, CJ snatches it from her and heads to the basket & scores
Team A was at 4 team B at 3.
"BREAK!" U day calls out.
They all head to the seats.
D- oww! my nail its spoiled
RV- where? show.
Gunjan,Benji,Sheena & CJ were all tired they got seated
G- gosh i hv never played this game before its very tiring!
Samrat and Uday smirked who were not at all tired
N- well sorry but m not a gud palyer
S- chill we r playing just for fun
U- ya nupur
Nupur look at mayank, he winks at her "Just for fun"
Yeh mayank ko kya ho gaya hai? jab se aaye hain kuch zyaada hi romantic ho gaya hai

All of them take their positions.Team A was at 4 n team B at 3.
CJ had the ball she passed it on to Uday who swiftly headed towards the basket n made it!
now both the teams were equal
S-Buck up guys!
Mayank had the ball he headed towards their side but was being blocked by CJ, he passed it to RV, though not being able to dodge or even move as Benji n Nupur were trying to block him he looked around to find samrat on the other end, Gunjan was the clsest to the basket but will she make it? without further thinkin he passed the ball to gunjan, oh oh with lots of force gunjan completely taken aback at this couldnt react fast n the ball hit her in the stomach. At first she couldnt get wat had just happened, as the ball hit her she felt her stomach ache. she held her abdomin n sat down groanin she could hear footsteps heading towards her & them calling her name, her vision was blurred due to tears.
Mayank was the closest to her so he reached first.
M- gunjan r u ok?
gunjan shut her eyes m groaned
S- move i'll carry her
G- no "no i'll stand' she managed to muster
N- no u lie down samrat mayank please
S- I will
with tht he sweeped gunjan off her feet effortlessly and carried her to the seats the rest followed
Samrat laid her down gently. Nupur sat down with gunjan's head on her lap.
N-"chot kahan lagey?"
Gunjan's eyes were shut n her hands were around her stomach.
Samrat moved gunjans hand n gently pressed her stomach
Gunjan whimpered in pain.
S- dude wat was the need to throw it so hard?
RV- m sorry gunjan.
G- its ok
Samrat offered gunjan a bottle of mango juice
G- no, no need
S- drink gunjan
Gunjan felt like she was gonna vomit all over but took seeing samrat talk so fiercely
He helepd her to sit, gunjan took a sip n laid down again
M- how abt we call a doc?
U- ya
G- no its fine its....she shut her mouth as she felt the vomit come.

CJ- guys no need for a doc i guess samrat knws all this injury stuff dont u?
S-ya i hv been injured many times too i hv a fair idea
D- ok i think we shouldnt crowd here, let fresh air enter

samrat held her top to observe her injury when he realised wat he was doing.
he left it immediately "uhh sorry nupur just check if she is badly bruised"
N- ok
Samrat mayank Benji n RV turn around
Samrat realised tht he was short of breath n seemed as if had run a mile.
He tried to relax himself. He had lost complete control just now.
N- you can turn now
All of them turn around. Sheena n CJ were back with some ice
S- how bad is it?
N- shes hurt, its turning an ugly shade of black n blue.
nupur said flinchin
At tht very moment gunjan vomited all she had fgor breakfast n the juice too.
Samrat reached fast to help her.
Once it stopped she laid down again.
Sh- heres some ice

"hey i think we should take her in"
B- ya we can call a doc
Gunjan couldnt utter a word she could hear evrythin but her pain dint let her speak, infact she dint trust her voice at a moment like this

Samrat held the edge of her shirt n lifted it. her stomach near the belly area was turnin blue black, he touched it slightly.
Gunjan whimpered,it did hurt but the warmth of his fingers was quite soothing.

she pushed his hand away n lowered her shirt.
S- just kidding.......................its not much just turned black.

Gunjan lifted her pillow to hit him, suddenly the pain doubled n she stopped.
S-hmm here have some painkillers hopefully u'll b fine by tomorrow morning, the mark will b fine by two three days. It would be better if u dont exert it much. u can eat but not now may b after an hour or so..ok?
gunjan smiled "ok doc, as u say"
Both of them laughed, though gunjan sombred up soon as her stomach hurt.
After a few minutes silence
G-Samrat she called him gently
Samrat looked up "yeah"
She offered him his hand "Friends forever?"
Samat looked at her in wonder "forever!"
They held each others hand n smiled
This was the beginning of a new frndship or rather a beginning of 2 broken hearts being reunited in love.
CJ grinned from the door n went to join others in the hall to fill them up abt their success.
M- thts gud
D-you knw RV sounds wierd but it was kinda gud tht gunjan got hurt else how wud hv all this hpnd
N- hey u r quite right but still gunjan is hurt.

RV's POV
Diya seems very happy these days..but m sure there is some prob..or sumthing tht aches her heart. only if i knew wat it is...shall i go to her n ask?is she waiting for tht? i think i should ask her if i dont this thing will eat me ..i got up from my bed to check if dia was asleep as i opened my door dia stood there..she was in her night dress but a bit disturbed"Hey u here?"
"ya"she replied,"oke...y were u outside" i asked"nothing...i couldnt sleep can i sleep here?" she asked"ya sure" Diya entered i saw her walk in she trembled a little her face was a bit wet but it dint seem that she was crying it seemed as if she had just washed her face.As she made herself comfortable on my bed i asked her"wat happened?"
"nothing i was feeling a bit lonely thts it.." she replied
"oke can i ask u sumthin?"i got seated on the sofa.she looked at me "ya ..go on"
"Is there nything thts bothering ..nythinn u wanna share?"
Her expression turned from horror to tht of fear she looked at her hands ..i got up to approached her jst when i saw tears falling in her hand.
"Hey baby ..what happened?" i enquired. She shook her head.
"Dont cry please just tell me the prob and i'll fix it" I assured her
She looked at me hopefully "you will?"
"Yes"I said hoping wateva it may b i could do it.
"Then marry me please" she said still looking at me hopefully
"What!?" I asked completely taken aback.
"Yes marry me!" she said again.
"But wat abt ur career..?wat abt my career..we hv just started the long run and u want to end this all?" I reasoned.
"Its not tht..i dont want to make my career anymore..and wat difference will it make to urs? u r mine for ever u promised, then married or not wat difference does it make?"
"It doesnt but i dont want to get married now" I shot back.
"Why? u think m not the right one?" she asked with fear and doubt.
"No! its not tht! i want to make a career first i want to b stable with my life" I reasoned
"But i want a family!" she said
"A family!!? u cant think of havin a baby?" i asked in utmost shock.
"why cant i?" she enquired almost in tears now.
This was all goin out of control! I couldnt imagine out of all the things..this was bothering her..
"Diya we cant...i cant marry now" I tried to explain.
"oke then dont marry me yet ..lets hv a baby" she said hopefully
"Dia wats wrong with u ?the very reason i dont wanna marry yet is family!" I said
She looked at me with tearfilled eyes"you said u'll give me watever i want"
"But this is not wat u want baby ..just think it will end ur career ..."
"I said i dont care abt tht" she said.
"oke give me time to think..or i wud say u think abt this tooo" I said trying to end this topic i needed time to think.
"i hv thought abt this" she said firmly.
"oke then think again...and in a more practical way"I said a bit harshly.
Dia loked at me supressed a sob and ran out of the room.
"Dia" I called but she dint turn back.
Oh god out of all the things this is wat she wants? a family!

Sheena's POV
Benji entered home.. "Hey ..not sleepy?".I looked up"No" .
"y so?" He asked
"Simply" I replied with a dead end to my tone.
"oke..shall i keep u company?" he asked
"No...m fine on my own" I replied. I was hurt beyond measure...nt wanting to say any harsh words i cut out without looking up.
"Cut it out!"He said a bit harsh.
"What!?" I asked standing up.
"Why are you being so rude?" he asked
"Sorry..i dint mean to." I apologized.
"thats ok...now temme wats the prob?"
"Prob .who said nythin abt tht?"I denied
"ur actions did." he replied obviously."huh??"
"well u r here alone in the dark n just now spoke to me harshly for no reason ...certainly theres a prob"
"there isnt one...and will u please stop interfering in each and evrything i do!" I said.I was breathing heavily from all the shouting i calmed myself..wat was wrong with me? i neva lost control like that...
"Interfering!? for god sake i saw u all alone so i just asked! as a friend!" His expression turned cold now.
"Saw me all alone! yes u did but u knw wat i hv been like this all my life now! This is me! alone!lonely do u get tht?"
I screamed before i knew tears were flowing from my eyes but my face was held high...i wasnt goin to breakdown infront of him.His expression changed from anger to tht of hurt. I felt my heart breakdown further.."See u dont knw anything ..so just dont.dont" I turned around to leave.
"But Sheena i dont want u to b alone" I turned around at his words he was looking down at his feet. I tried to match his eyes to see what he actually meant.
"I am your friend and will remain forever"He looked up and this time i dint see hurt or anger this time i saw pity in his eyes ..pity for me!
"Sorry but i dont want ur pity"I spat the word out in anger
I turned away from him, then I started up the stairs. I dashed for the bathroom before Benji follows.I cried maybe for an hour or so..i dint knw...I held my hands to cover my ears. I dint want to remember anything not those beautiful moments spend with him in college times ..n neither his words of pity...
I stopped crying, I couldn’t cry anymore I was too angry at everything, but mainly at myself. I slowly removed my hands looking at myself in the mirror. I didn’t look that different… who was I kidding I look sad, lonely and miserable. And I can’t blame anyone, but myself.

I suddenly felt a burst of anger I couldn’t control and I felt my hand ball into a fist shooting towards my reflection in the mirror. “I hate you!” I screamed as I pounded my fist into the glass not even feeling the pain just yet. It cracked making it harder for me to see myself, I liked it that way.

I dropped my hand, and then started to feel the pain shooting through it. I looked at the mirror it was missing pieces of glass and had blood on it. I slowly brought up my hand looking at it, it was still balled in a fist and had pieces of glass sticking out of it.

I looked at it with horror, what did I just do? I have officially lost it. I covered my mouth with my other hand as I let out a small frightened shriek. My hand was throbbing my head felt dizzy and now I had a mess I couldn’t clean up. And I wasn’t talking about the mirror, I was talking about myself and my heart. And how out of everything on me hurting right now it was my heart that hurt the most, the one I couldn’t fix that was it.

“Dia?is tht u? look baby m sorry i dint to b so harsh!"I heard RV's voice come through the door and I immediately backed further into the bathroom. I clamped my hand over my mouth again, well the one that wasn’t still all bloody with glass shards sticking in it.
What was he talking abt? dint mean to b harsh?
It was quiet and then I heard him call louder, “Samrat Uday! come here I think Dia or Gunjan were in the bathroom and something happened!” I listened as I heard Samrat's door swing open immediately and then he came to the door, Gunjan?Dia? Who’s in there and are you okay?”

I remained silent and I then heard Uday sigh, “I’m going to check their rooms.” I heard him then move away from the door and after a while he came back, “It's Sheena I heard Nupur and Gunjan inside theirs, but Sheena's was empty… what do you think…”

he was cut off by another voice, “Guys what the hell is going on out here?” It was Dia.
"thank god u r fine..,m sorry for wat i said" RV was apologising.
"we will talk abt tht later"Dia cut him off giving the cold shoulder.
I heard more voices n fear gripped me
Gosh i just hope Benji doesnt come here.I had to clean this somehow..i quickly got up and took some cotton to wipe the blood on the basin..my hand ached even more but i ignored it ...I looked at the mirror to clean my face but dang it ..i had broken it!
I turned to hear wat was goin on outside.
"We should break the door open...coz she wont" RV was suggesting.
"Wait maybe Benji knws abt this ....I'll call him" I heard Samrat's footsteps retreating,.
Oh no! out of all the people not Benji please!
"We should break the door...what if she has fainted or something?" Uday suggested.
"you are right"RV agreed.
I moved back and sat down where i was previously waiting for them to open the door...just because i dint hv the guts to face them.I hid my hand behind my back.
After a While the door banged open and Benji entered to my surprise...I looked at him to find utter horror in his eyes ..he looked at the broken mirror and the cotton covered in blood ...he looked at me bewildered.
"Are you ok?" I turned my head and sighed.
"Are you hurt?"he asked again..i looked at him and fresh tears fell down my cheeks.
Benji approached"shh dont cry...should i carry u to ur room?" I nodded and hid my face in his shirt not wanting to see anyone.
Benji carried me all the way to my room.he muttered to others abt taking care of me and tht he will take care of evrything.
As if i was goin to let him!

He laid me on my bed and sat by its side.He kept silent for abt a few minutes. me too...not daring to break the silence..
"Sheena " he said finally. I looked up at him..he was disturbed and angry.
"Yeah?" I said.
"why did u do this?" he asked
I closed my eyes ...i had no answer to this. "Just forget abt it"
"You must b hurt?" he asked
"No m f9" I lied
"Show me your hand" he demanded
I showed the one not hurt. "The other one" he said.
I sighed and showed him the wound
"God! Are you insane!?" he scolded at me.
"Yes" I replied.
"What!?" he asked
"Yes i hv gone mad" I said again.
I heard him scurrying around,he held my hand n then pain shot through my arm as i felt the cotton make contact with my skin..he think pricked out the tiny glass pieces....he tied my arm with a bandage.
"Sheena" his voice was tht of approaching a patient."Look at me please"
"I opened my eyes to find him very close to me...I could feel his breath on my face..perhaps he could tooo.
I was aware that i was very close to sheena...close enough tht i should be to sumi not her. But i could see the pain hurt anger n anguish clear in her eyes ...something had disturbed her to no limits and shewas mistaken too.
"Sheena i dont pity on u...trust me....i dont knw wat made u say tht" he said.
He was so close to me couldnt utter a word...did he knw much dazzled i was?
"I never meant to hurt u ..i can never hurt u! u knw tht ..dont u?"
I looked at my hands...he lifted my chin with his fingers ..he was so close tht i swear i could lose control any second. Benji touched my hands which were resting on the bed and approached me further i could feel his breath on me..I moved back..i was breathing heavily..wat was benji doin? he moved his hands from mine and held my face in a very soft and gentle manner.
"Benji...I" Hearing his name might have brought him back to his senses as he backed off with a jerk looked at me wide eyed and left banging the door shut. .
I was too shocked and dazzled to say anything..i could still feel his fingers lingering on my cheeks and his scent in the air.
Benji's POV
I jerked off hearing my name wat was i doing? i was gonna kiss her! i banged at the table next to me..and scurried to my room...noone was supposed to knw abt this ..wat will sumi think if she came to knw? and wat the hell was i doing to sheena? wat must she be thinking...god when she was all sad n depressed ..i did something like this! Shame on me!
"What just happened?" RV asked others.
"Well it seems situation is bad as Benji shut the door quite loud." Samrat replied
"oke..so wat now?"Uday asked
"I will check on Sheena"Dia suggested" and its late now i'll tell u guys wat actualy happened 2mrw morning..its better if u go to sleep"
"oke then cya...G'Night guys"Samrat wished evry1.

Next Day
"Hey" Everyone greeted Diya and RV at the dining table.
"Hey guys" Diya sighed and took her seat,.
"So what exactly happejed last night?" Nupur asked.
"I told them...now its ur part" Samrat answered Diya's unasked question.
"Well guys something is wrong with both of them and specially after Sumi has come."Dia said.
"oke how can u say tht?" Uday asked.
"Its just clear from her behaviour...."Diya said.
"Quite right" Gunjan said."But wat did she say when u approahed her last night?"
"She dint let me enter ...she was crying i could hear tht ...she said she will be fine" Diya replied.
"Let Benji come we will ask him" CJ said.
"Benji wont say a thing he would hv told yesterday nite itself..n if u notice benji and sheena hvnt come down yet." RV said.
"Yeah" Samrat agreed.
"Hey Guys" Sumi entered the dining area greeting evry1.
"Hi sumi come join us for breakfast" Mayank suggested
"thnx but i had some"Sumi replied.
"ermm wheres benji? and sheena?"She asked.
"ah u c they r sleeping" Nupur replied in a rude tone..knwing tht sumi was the cause of benji and sheena's distress she dint like the idea of sumi's presence among them...sure sumi was a sweet gal and benji's girlfriend..but u never know wats in the person's heart...and despite all that anything tht breaks or disrupts the friendship of the 10 of them is not good in nupur's eyes.
"oke" Sumi said"Iwas just wondering u know Benji is a morning person"
"Pardon me but we know our friend better than you!" Sheena said as she came down the stairs."He mght be the morning person as he became an RJ else he was always the latecomer benji..our sweet friend"
"oke ...is something wrong?" Sumi asked quite wierded out
"Yes u .."Nupur stood
"Di! no"Gunjan stopped nupur.
"oke"Nupur sat down.
"Have a seat Sowmya..m sure benji will b here soon" Sheena said.
"You know my name? I mean Benji must have told u"Sumi said surprised.
"No..I have my sources."Sheena said with a glint in her eyes.
"Oke" Sumi said now really wierded out.
"Sheena are you ok?"Uday asked.
"Yeah m fine now" Sheena replied sweetly
Strange how can a person be rude and sweet at the same time?ppl like famous sheena and ms. attitude Nupur... benji's friends are quite wierd..a few of them actually gunjan is a sweet hun.Sumi thought.
"Oke guys m going for a walk ,,will cya later."Sheena said.
"hey sheena wait!"samrat called.."i'll join u too...ma tummy has increased a lot" Samat turned to others evry1 was laughin gunjan too, he caught her eye and winked at her..he noticed her goin red which sent a rush of adreline through him..she looked beautiful blushing like tht.
Only a few more days m sure evrything will b fine.Samrat thought and followed sheena out to the wide beach.
At the beach
"The weather is too good!" Samrat said. "Yeah nice breeze....i think we should all go for the picnic now" She suggested
"Picnic?" Samrat asked."Yeah...farmhouse yaar!" sheena reminded
"ohh ya...ya we should.." Samrat agreed."lets race.."
"what?"
"till tht black stone...lets race. The one who reaches first can ask nythin they wish and the other one has to answer no matter wat"
"Oh you are on!" Sheena smirked.
Both of them ran to reach the stone first..ay equal pace.Samrat laughed"you wont b able to beat me"
"I will"Sheena replied
"oke then catch up"with tht samrat started runnin at a faster speed. Sheena followed suit and screamed at the top of her voice"Hey gunjan nice of u to join us!"
"Gunjan? where..?" Samrat stopped and looked around.
Sheena bucked up and reached the high stone first.
"Hey thts cheating!" Samrat argued.
"Ha..u lost!" Sheena shouted in victory
"nice to c u happy" Samrat said..this sombred her.
"m always happy" sheena said
"no....now my qs...wat happened yesterday night?" Samrat asked.
"that ..was nothing." sheena answered.
"You gotta b kidding me..look at ur hand."
"wat i mean is it just happened oke!....we dont need to think abt it now...we can enjoy u knw..no need to remember bad things...we r here to enjoy!"
"ofcoz we r here to enjoy...but the main part was to catch up with each other which we all r doin ...but somehow somewhere always u dont"

Samrat entered to find evry1 seated in the hall.
"Guys..i cant help it...shes in tears now" Samrat explained to others...only after saying so did he notice benji amongst their midst."Hey Benji"
"Hi.."Benji replied.
"ermm...whose crying..sheena?y?" Sumi asked.
"I guess Benji has the answer to tht" Samrat folded his hands.
Benji looked at others all were waiting for an answer from him.."Guys..we will solve it out...we just need time.."
"wat happened benji?" Sumi asked sharply..
Something is wrong between sheena n Benji ..i guess i knw wat it is...she must b in love with benji..and he is thinking of leaving me or sumthing..Sumi thought.
"Nothing sumi...just a frnd thing" Benji assured her.
"oke" Maybe i should trust him. Sumi thought again. Her phone she picked it up..it was her aunt, she had some urgent work and had called herhome immediately.
"Guys..i g2g i hope u all solve his matter..bye benji." She gave benji a fleeting kiss on the cheek and left.
"Benji if u want to solve this go to sheena now." CJ suggested.
"I cant" Benji gulped.
"why?" Mayank asked.
"m ashamed..i cant face her." Benji murmured.
"See we want to help you...this is not the way to solve the problem...u cant avoid her...solve it out!" Dia argued.
"Yes Dia is right..u should go n talk to her." RV said.
"Yes but i dont know wat to say!"Benji reasoned out.
"then tell us wat happened..we will help." Nupur pleaded.
Benji kept quite. "oke tell us y sheena broke the mirror."

Just as Uday was telling others abt wat benji already knew another thought struck him.

"It was our first meeting when Sheena told me tht she hides her feelings from all of us...she wants someone who can understand her,,u knw someone who loves her...well thts wat she told me...well she told me tht she is alone.. after tht many a times she said tht life is gud with all frnds together and tht shes afraid of this month to get over...she like it the way it is...she hates her life....she said she struggled all the while for her career but now its like a curse for her...among this yesterday she said the same thing tht shes alone n will always b coz thts how her life is ..." I ended up ignoring the almost happened kiss last night.
"oke so now wat r u going to do..?" CJ asked.
"just wait and watch" with tht i left heading to the beach.
"Cj" Mayank called.
"yup..?" CJ turned to Mayank.
Mayank looked at Nupur to find her sitting at the farside of the couch talking to samrat and uday.
"Help me!" Mayank whispered.
"wat?" CJ asked perplexed."ohh oke lets go to ur room.."
Cj shut the door behind her.."oke abt proposing to nupur...."
Mayank sat down and CJ stood at the windowside. she looked out an idea struck her.
"In the rain!!" she exclaimed.
"what!?" mayank asked."yes looks like ies goin to rain ..i'll get evryone out...n then u can propose her.!!!"
"No way she wont like it its too simple." Maynk argued.
"Trust me she will love it..u knw y?"CJ asked grinning broadly
"why?"mayank asked.
"hmm lets c...u realised love for her...wen it was raining....it rained after the play performance wen u told each others feeling n fell in love!..and it rained on ur first date too! so when u propose her it should b in the rain too!"
"ya ya ..we should marry in the rainy season too then...it will be veryyyyy romanticit wont work! she wont like it" mayank repelled.
"Trust me dude it will work...n it will b too romantic!" Cj assured.

At the beach
Benji approached sheena who was making patterns on the sand with a stick she was barefoot, her shoes kept aside.
"Hey"Benji said.
Sheena looked up to find Benji next to her, without muttering a word she continued making the pattern.
"what r u making..?" benji asked.
Sheena didnt reply as it was a stupid question.
Benji not getting a response sighed and looked at the picture...it was a small girl's face ...a very happy one.
"hmm" Benji murmured and sat down next to her.
"Sheena m sorry about wat happened last night..i dont know wat it was....it just happened..i hope u understand."Benji started.
Sheena still gave no answer but he was now sure tht she was listenin to his each n evry word.
"Sheena ..i hv a fair idea abt ur life..as u told me, i cannot be sure whether i know the whole truth...u may hv not old me evrything n thts understood..but y do u feel tht i pity u..? y do u feel tht ur life is different from tht of us..tht u r alone.?"Benji asked looking at sheena.
she had stopped drawing the patterns...she just looked at the girl..it was difficult for her to answer benji....
"you trust me dont u?"Benji asked but he dint get a response.sheena had gone back to her past..how her world had turned upside down.
"sheena please say something."Benji pleaded.
Sheena looked up at benji."m sorry sheena..abt wat happened but pls dont feel tht u r alone..we all r there for u ...always.."Benji promised.
"Sheena Malhotra" sheena said in a whisper.
Benji looked at her perplexed but waited in silence for her to continue.
"the famous actress....her past a blurred image..do u knw wat happened after graduation..?" sheena asked benji
"No..infact i was surprised wen i saw u in movies n all.." Benji said and stopped wen sheena gave a sad smile.
"Indeed noone knows abt tht...i hv hidden it so well."Sheena continued."Sheena Malhotra all set to fulfil and achieve her dream..since childhood..just a few months in mumbai she comes to knw tht her mother had left her forever..."
This shocked Benji ..y had he never asked sheena abt her mother..how could he forget tht the only true relative sheena had..he never asked abt her..he was further shocked at the way sheena said it...she was not crying..she was speaking in a tone as tht of telling a story..
"not wanting to return she never saw the last of her mother..she thought her career was more important..a big mistake for sure....1 year passed she was saddened..no job no work..n litle money thts how she lived...looking for a brighter future having the spirit to fight she approached many got thwarted too...ofcoz they say there r many hurdles in this field...she was strong she crossed them all...few ppl took advantage of her..n she fell...too deep none ready to help her...too deep none to console her...she was considered a rag..a shameless human who sold herself..."
Benji looked at sheena wide-eyed...wat sheena had said somehow dint register in his brain."wat!?" he exclaimed.
"yes she was blamed..it was all planned just because she fought...and dint give in...those people blamed her...degraded her personality...made her seem like vermin in the society....a parasite..anyways she left the society and swore that one day all of them will have to pay for it..and she ran for her life to a faroff land...where noone knew the sheena malhotra struggling actress ...they knew just sheena..and then came the change in her life which made her wat she is today...a famous actress came for a shoot...and a gal was needed as the make-up artist...this very gal was recommended by others....the actress gave her a chance...she loved her work..n gave her a job, one day sheena told her abt her dream to be a superstar just like tht actress, the actress asked sheena to perform and she liked it too...the actress gave sheena a break in the movies...and since then tht girl has been just goin ahead in her career without looking back...all this while noone asked her noone seeked her...noone knows wat the famous superstar sheena malhotra had to go through to reach this stage..."
Sheena ended her sentence and sighed...benji was too shocked to say anything sheena had just told him her biggest secret.
"m soo sorry sheena...i dint knw n..y dint u contact us..i mean we could have done sumthing.."Benji said
"I dont think anyone would have helped me at tht time...life was miserable and i ran...just like any other coward.."
"no not coward...infact u r the bravest girl i have ever met" Benji said wothout thinkin it was all truth..he meant wat he said.
"thnx Benji."Sheena said.
"wat happemedyesterday...abt tht sheena..i just want to say tht u shouldnt feel lonely like tht we all r ur frnds...and."
"i know" sheena cut him of.."it happens with me...i dont like to remeber old stuff...but it just comes like a wave and smack downs evrything...it was a phase..and lets plan at we r goin to do for today instead of wasting our time here.."
Sheena stood..benji not able to understand her vibrant emotions..and her bold confidence.
"sure and i promise i wont tell anyone abt this,.." Benji swore.
"i know u wont" Sheena smiled.
