Kandein Kadhalai Is the Tamil Version of Jab We Met!

I saw the trailors of Kandein Kadhalai and it is the tamil version of Jab we me(hindi) one of my all time fav movie .. i'm not sure whether this news is stale for you guys but itz brand new for me ...
It was earlier titled ‘Raja Rani’ and Dhanush and Trisha were supposed to pair up for the lead roles but now its been played by Bharath and Tamanna ... Pritam who composed melodious tunes for the original version was supposed to compose for tamil version tooo but looks like vidyasagar replaced him ... Jeyam Kondan’s famed director Kannan is directing the movie (i hope he does justice to Imtiaz Ali!)

I love the original version .. and the tamil version looks like a exact replica of the original version .. some of the dialogues and clothes (dialogues like "original piece" and kareena's famous penniform) are just the same .. even bharath is wearing the same eye glasses as shahid ;) .. the only difference i can perceive was geet(kareena) was a punjabi kudi and probably geetha?(tamanna) is a tamil village girl .. i know tammy is good but i dont think she will be as good as bebo was .. in their words afterall kareena is the original piece :p

I heard this news long time back...Like you said,I hope they do justice to the original movie coz JWM is an awesome movie and I just simply loved.
It is the only film I felt where bebo did justice to her role....LOL

i say tammy is a good choice .. if not her then genilia ... but be it anyone, kareena is the original piece and remain the original for me .. after watchin the movie i fell in love with geet .. after watching the movie i started acting like her ... esp'lly the cursing parts :D

OMG!!! Damn copy. Tammana openly said that she copied kareena's acting. She copied because Kareena's acting was the major plus in the movie and that's the only type of acting that suits the role.

Hi all,

After going thru all of ur opinions about kanden kadhalai I wud like to say Its a good entertaining film. surely we all can watch it with pleasure. I ddnt see jab we met properly. But i understand dat kareena rocks in that role.Though original is best Tammy also had done better in our tamil version.
If we forget the original movie and watch the kanden kadhali it will be better to hav enjoyment.
