Ingredients
bananas, skinned, cut into thin slices, lengthwise 500gm
Refined oil for frying
Jaggery (gur) 11/2 cup/ 250 gm
Ginger Power 1/2 tsp / 1 gm
Cumin (jeera) power 1/2 tsp / 1 gm
Rice, fried, powered 2 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp / 30 gm
Method
1.
heat the oil in pan, deep fry the banana slices till golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain the excess oil on paper towel. Keep aside.
2.
melt the jaggery in water and boil till thick. Then lower the flame and add the fried bananas.
3.
When the Bananas is coated with jaggery, add the ginger and cuminn powers. Stir carefully but continuosuly till the bananas is completely coated, then remove from heat.
4.
add the rice and sugsr, mix well. cool and store in airtight jars.
