hmmm..well i will answer it differently...
umm what relaly turns me on in a girl is her innocence,sexy eyes ,sweet smile, and most importantly feminity...in my view innocence and feminity is a girls biggest assets!!
so i guess if any of the above things is not ther i guess it will be the biggest turn off for me..specifically the first one and the last one...

umm first for the qualities in her that turn me on...
...i guess it has to be the fact that she is the one person to whum..i can be open about anything!! and i guess thats mainly because we are best friends first then lovers!!
apart from that i guess its her simplicty and innocence and the fact that we both could see love in each other...and the genunity of feelings is what has made me today just adore her soo much!!
umm what turns me off in her...
umm come to think of it really..i guess ther hasnt been anyhting..coz we wer best of frineds and wateva i disliked in her or she disliked in me i guess we always just talked about it and had it sorted so we have been acustomed to each other habits for a long time!! so nothin i guess...

. your best valentine till date(including this year)

umm my best valentine i guess would have to be the one in the 11th when i had taken my gf out to this valentine partiy at the dlf golf club!! and it was a whole grande affair like with proper champgne and then afterwards we had gone for a walk on the course in the club around 11.30 in
the moonlite night it was so romantic holding hands and walking on the course nobody was ther..!!;)

well inmy case it was a completly diffenrent scenario. iahd been best friend with her....and we used to sahre everyhting with each pther form her secret crushes to my fantasies...but then as r realtionship grew on there came a point ki we new therer was ssmthing between us smthing that was more then friendshiop and that had no definitation to it a kinda realtionship that u could not define!! during that period it was like we were cluless we tried giving it the name of frinedship ...but it was i guess inevitalbe!1 and one fine day it was her birthday that i asked her out and she said yes and all of this was said just thru the yees while dancing!! i had no intentions of propsing that day..but i guess smthing hit me while dancing with her on her birthday and i just did ....
so it s just that ull be in love for along time and u wont relise it till the time is right i guess!!

nope !!! for me it can never be love at first sight i might have acrush ion first site or a infatuation but for that to develop into smthng as beauiful as love i have to no the real person the real girl! hw she is from the inside...

i gues my gf,my best friend, and my mom equally!!...its like when i have probs with my gf it is my mum and best friend whu help me out and when i have probs with my mum its my gf and my best feind whu help me out,and bestfrineds ke saath koi probs hone ka sawl he nahi utha coz she is somone to whum i cn neva have probs!! so i guess in the past two years in my life evry decision that i have taken has been primarly governed by these three people..so they r definitley the most closest to me....

5. why did you choose to study in the UK?
um i guess i choose to studin uk coz i dint get tinto the top engineering institutes in india like the iit and bits pilani..and had always wanted to do it from a awsum place so decide to go abroad uk coz i had not given my sats too go to us and frankly i prefer us for my mba rather than undergrad..moreover studying abroad makes u a global person.and gives u that exposure that is required toi amke it big in this wolrd..plus so far my life ahd been to easy..and my dad decidied ki it was time i grew up and became aman so here i am ..in uk..

Im in my 12th grade ,preparing for medicine and stated in hyderabad...

2.what are ur likes and dislikes about remix and our four main characters?

Tia- i like everything about her ....
Ashi- actually i like evrything about ashi too...she does make a few silly mistakes occasionly but she is a rockstar in her style.....
Ranveer-the only thing i didnt like about ranveer is that he didnt confess his love for tia but now that he has ....i dont hav a problem with him ,atleast for the next few episodes till he is with tia....
Yuvi- i like yuvi more than ranveer...and if he can go against his father and do what he likes instead of sulking ......then there wont be any complaints either....
there isnt anything that i dont like about remix ....i wouldnt watch it if i didnt like something about it......

it was my friend's b'day and so we decided to go out for a movie and we planned everything including the dress code n decided to meet at the theatre at 1:30 by the time all of us got together it was 1:45 and we were ready to go in when we realised that we didnt book the tickets......!that was the worst planning ever but ill bever forget it ,never!!

First up, this fortnight the Remix side of my world has had many pleasant surprizes. The return of repeats, the responses to the VCD thread, the MOTW surprise, hmmmmmm its been great. The one and only DDLJ. I have seen the entire movie just 71 times and don't quite remember how many times I might have seen my fav scenes. My bro gifted me a CD and asked me to finish the century at the earliest possible. My Mom says even the editor of the movie would not have seen it so many times.:D I was frustrated when it was on air on Feb 13th when we guys were chatting and I realized it only after it was more than 60% over...

Kind of music u like?
All kinds of music. It depends on mood really. Normally I keep humming and singing romantic melodies but I can shift gears and end up singing rock, fast beat or suddenly dead slow and tragedy songs if I feellike. It has a lot to do with the surroundings and the kind of people I am with. Honestly though, the songs of this generation doesn't please me a great deal because they concentrate more on hungama than on the substance

The best prank u have ever pulled on somebody?
Whenever I am with my Gang in Hyd, I play pranks like mad. There are just too many to say. But now that most of us are scattered it leaves us no chance for pranks.
Interestingly, in our gang there is a phylosophy that if you want a right to comment on others, you need to take a joke or make a comment on yourself first. We all have done it for nearly 8-9 years. Now, when I told this to my roomies at Bangalore in my early days, they all started making pathetic and outright lousy comments on themselves, so that they could comment more on others...:p :D

I have only one goal - live life in the BEST possible spirit, to its full and install positivity all around

I can proudly say that assisted by Venku ( Lord Venkateswara ), by detecting unparallelled depression, I could save atleast 4 lives. 2 of them confessed, while the other 2 I infered by reading thier handwriting samples. Those were the proudest moments when they realized their folly ( of thinking of suicide ) and began to live better

Na jaane Kaise... I have mastered nearly 5008 songs completely ( Hindi and Telugu added ) and I don't usually repeat them in 2 days running, but for the last 2 months, I might be singing Na jaane Kaise atleast 60 % of the times...

Friendship on any day, because I feelLove is a mere extention of Friendship. To be able to Love a person you need to first like, respect and trust a person which are the basic traits of friendship. Of course last but not the least , the COMFORT ZONE factor as well.

Its 50-50 for me. Yes, you do get attracted immesnsely at first sight, but then you also need to get to know the person better to be able to actually love. As mentioned earlier, I feel Love can't exist without the comfort zone.

whats the wackiest thing u've ever done?
Most people say, the way I treat God and My Mom are wacky. I call them my friends and indeed treat them so, talking to them all the lousy stuff one can imagine. In fact I call God (Venkateswara) "Venku" and My Mom "Mrs Murthy" ( our surname is not Murthy, but Mom = Maatru Murthy, and remove Maatru, and you get Murthy ...!!! )

My name is Kalyani, but my best friend Raghu already has a friend Kalyani in the group. So he named me Nikky, and ever since everyone who knows Raghu knows me as Nikky. Somuch so, sometimes even my Father calls me Nikky..:D

2. bangalore or hyderabad,why??

Bangalore has been my 2nd home for the last 15 years as I have cousins here and we keep visiting. Now it is my professional camp too. I respect that fact and I am comfortable too. Yet Hyd is my ultimate destination and destiny.

3. umm.....siblings.....??
An elder brother, born 1 1/2 years earlier. But we are friends rather than sibs. Ther are hardly any secrets between us. And yes, Il eave no chance of pulling his leg, while he can't take even if a fly scratches me. He covers up most of my mistakes even if my Mom tries topunish me. Great chapand a born champion, he is the topper in academics and captained his school, Jr collge and medical college teams to victories in Volleyball.

Acc to me infatuation stays as long as the goodies remain intact and once the pressure of real time situations (like lack of contact, difficultsituations with self and partner, etc ), the gloss and attraction fades away. Reallove comes to the fore when things are difficult. How well you understand your counterpart and react accordingly tomake him/her feel good.

I have learnt that not only TV serials, but addiction is not healthy for ANYTHING in life, be it objects, people or anything abstract.
As for Remix, if in Hyd I'd probably not be as badly addicted as now because I'd have the option of being with friends and family. But now TV is my most reliable company. Of course, I always have a fascination for serials based on schools and colleges as they potray tender minds.
As for joining the forum, I must admit, it was accidental.I was feeling bored at office and had missed a fewepisodes, so I thought of getting updates possibly. I read Kanak's episode and was awestruck. Then I read the responses from others to that. I liked the atmosphere and became an official part of it. Believe it or not, now THIS Remix gang on the forum is of moreimportance to me than the actual serial itself..!!!

Usually both have their own course. But if they MUST collide, I still feelone can manage to sneak out some time from profession to cater to Love ( straight from the heart and personal experience :) :D )

This is tricky but I'll play with a straight bat. UNDENIABLY, Kanak is my most favourite person because she was the first person I saw on this forum. I just llllllove her avtaar, which relieves me of all tensions in a jiffy. Harshu comes next because she was the second and was the first mail me personally and welcome me to this unit. With both of them busy I feel a bit off beat. Rash is an absolute Sweetheart, whom I enjoy interacting with and Vandy is not far behind. I dont mean to upset others but I am yet to be all too familier with them.I must add, I reagrd Sangit very high for his description skills in Updtaes.

5) what is the worst thing that has ever happnd to u in life and how did u deal with it ?

The Phase b/n early 1997 -mid 1998 was very very bad onme and I splitup with one of my closest associates. I had forgotten what smiling was.People told me I was like a walking corpse. It took a phenomenal effort frommy Brother and another friend to get me back to normal. My mom too showed exceptional composure in dealing with me in that tough situation. Ever since whenever there is a really tough situation for me or if I am uncontrolably depressed, allmy brother tells me is " arre, you have come out of the worst circumnstances in life, uske saamne yeh choti problem kya cheez hai re .." It makes me feel exceedingly confident and Thanks to Venku, I return to normal self.. composed, cheerful and positive. On my birthday in 1998 my Gang to an official oath that at all timesin life we will try our best to avoid ugly moods and try as much as we can conciously to keepourselves pleasant. That has been the most criticaltruning point of my life. Ever since, nothing upsets me big and even if it does, Venku and I make sure it doesn't keepme off for too long.

I am basically from Hyd, but have been working in Bangalore for 25months now.

Not al all. Raghu named me Nikky in Sept 1998 and I have been Nikky or Nikks since then.

3.do u follow ur family values whether living with them or living far away from them?
Absolutely. I am very freakish and casual when I am WITH family (spoiled by pamperings ), but my behavior elsewhere is ALWAYS defined by the values installed my my Mom. Imake sure I never let her down

4.do u like nature.if yes then which is the place that let u feel close to nature?
I love nature immensely. Usually any greenery or flowery places are good to be but I like waterbodies like lakes, waterfalls, riversides or seabeaches more. For me sitting near a pond is also a preference over say a movie. I feel as if the waves wash away disturbances in mind, and that I am in company of someone very mature and reliable. That is when I get some seriously good thoughts and great feelings.

5.what kind of person are u serious one or fun loving person?

Iam a fun loving person, but moody. People tell me at first sight I appear very serious type, but you know it takes time to mingle. Once Iam familiar, I am after them with pranks all the time. When my mood if off, I am extremely furious, but thanks to the oath of my Gang, that phase is usually short. I try to ease off by singing or talking to people or reading jokes.These days if Iam ven slightly upset I search for the nearest Internet to get in touch with THIS Remix Gang

6.when we watch a serial do we get more attracted to real person or character he is playing?i know these are little tricky questions many are already asked by forum members so cant help it.

Initially I get very keenly involved in the character. When there are phases of not very interesting situations,I end upanalyzing how a person is actually contributing to the character. And I appreciate the artist irrespective of the role potrayed.Like for eg there is no surprizein people liking Ashi or the others. But I like the way the charaters were potrayed by Jumbo, Sonia or for that matter Mitra. Trust me it is not that easy to potray a secondary character ( glamorous or non glamourous ) and stillmake an impact. The terror and hatred Mitra creates.., the fun and charm of Sonia and the clumsy, ackward and inconsistent behavior of Jumbo have as much to do with the actual artists as with the original characters. That is why, if you replace any of the artists with others for the characters, the chram would be lost.

Honestly, I haven't gone through the entire page list of the Remix Poems thread, so I can't say. But from what I read on the last 2 pages , Devika ( Drew ) seems to be extremely talented and quite popular.

Whom do u think is the best member in the forum?
EACH & EVERY member of this Gang is a unique and priceless Gem and this Gang is hence an incomparable necklace. There is absolutely no comparison because each has a special adorable quality.

As for my personal favourites... Kanak, Harshu, Rash, and Vandi are in that order because I have interacted mostly with them. Of course the more I know about others, the more I get to like and appreciate them.


How much do u rate urself as a person?
Honestly it oscillates between 6 - 8 on a scale of 10 depending on what aspect is being discussed.

What is ur attitude towards life?
Life life to the fullest, experience all emotions without being biased to any particular feeling. Install positivity to those around and enjoy its magic together.

Who is ur ideal date like?
My ideal date is one who can not simply make me feel comfortable but who can respect my ideas equally. He should make me feel good and willing to stay longer with him. And I have no hesitation in repeating for the nth time that Raghu has been my best and perfect date so far.

If u are given a chance to choose which country other than India would u love to be born and brought up?why?

Honestly, this question has too much of speculation and hence a lot of ifs and buts. I can't answer confidently about things I am not totally sure. But given a choice I'd prefer to be Indian any time and any number of times.

Thank you for calling me inspirational. Actually it inflates my ego to be praised so much, but in truth I feel I am just doing sincerely what My Gang members always do to each other - propel people to new heights. If people can draw inspiration from my words and succeed, my mission in life would have attained one more milestone and I thank Venku for that.

I am a hardcore south Indian from the Nawabi City of Hyderabad. Mother tongue is Telugu, but I am also good at Hindi, English and URDU ( the poetic Urdu ). I am average with Kannada as I live in Bangalore and I can understand Tamil, though I can't talk fluently.

I am not extravagant or shockingly superstitious, but I have my own little sentiments like wearing a particular dress for good luck, very senti about my Pen. Interestingly ( and weirdly too ), I ridicule people when they get superstitios ABOUT me ( like nazar utaaro ans such stuff ), but when it comes me dealing with my beloved Gang, I just don't take chances. That is when I can get extremely foolish and superstitious.

Coming to the last point on Nicknames, thanks for liking it. I hate calling people by their formal names once they become my friends. Nicknames come just spontaneously and they stick. Raghu is my best friend, my guide, phylosopher, my best supporter and toughest critic to please. We have unparallelled regard for each other. I know him only since Sept 1998 but it feels we have been together since time immemorial ( strange but that's how I feel ). We can do just about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING for each other. We hardly ever refuse to what the other says. In filmy language Raghu and I are 1 soul in 2 bodies.

Positive, Cheerful, Passionate, Moody, Dramatic, Impulsive, Sincere, Committed and Phylosophical. ( Too many at a stretch.. hehehe )

Earlier Red was my fav, then green. For a while yellow was my passion and one day my mom noted that most of my dresses had a touch of blue ( uncnsciously ). Usually I feel black is just majestic. Having said all this, I have realized that I like all colours equally. I am not excactly sure of the technicalities or what coulour depicts what type of psychology a person has, but I have grown to like all colours. It is just that the colour has to be in tune with the situation. Each colour has its own magic and purpose, otherwise the world would cease to be the beauty that it is...

Thanks for calling me inspirational. Interestingly my fav books are Tinkles, Autobigraphes / Biographies on cricketers, and Tom Sawyer - Huck Finn. As you may observe I like books which are gentle in impact and dealing with complee tenderness and innocence. But in stark contrast however, the book I have read most times is Sherlock Holmes - The Hound Of Baskervilles. My bro and I are always competing to get ahead of each other in reading it "one more time ". I find it strange, but can't help the addiction to it.

Almost every moment. But the most critical and yet memorable moment is when our Gang took that oath to make every conscious effort to do improve the mood all the time and to pump life into any dull people we come across. That was THE TURNING POINT of my life.

I tend to get into extremes of anything. Either too much of something or nothing at all. It does create problems but mostly I don't seem to learn.

Some people tell me that thier first impression of me is being a very serious, quite and reserved person which is the absolute opposite of what I am.
Some think that Iam a show off kind of person trying to boast of my abilities and achievements. That again isn't entirely true, but I cant deny them THEIR opinions.

The typical south Indian sambar and curd rice ( I can kill to have it if made by Mom ), Rotis and egg fried rice

Honestly, I haven't gone through the entire page list of the Remix Poems thread, so I can't say. But from what I read on the last 2 pages , Devika ( Drew ) seems to be extremely talented and quite popular.

Whom do u think is the best member in the forum?
EACH & EVERY member of this Gang is a unique and priceless Gem and this Gang is hence an incomparable necklace. There is absolutely no comparison because each has a special adorable quality.

As for my personal favourites... Kanak, Harshu, Rash, and Vandi are in that order because I have interacted mostly with them. Of course the more I know about others, the more I get to like and appreciate them.


How much do u rate urself as a person?
Honestly it oscillates between 6 - 8 on a scale of 10 depending on what aspect is being discussed.

What is ur attitude towards life?
Life life to the fullest, experience all emotions without being biased to any particular feeling. Install positivity to those around and enjoy its magic together.

Who is ur ideal date like?
My ideal date is one who can not simply make me feel comfortable but who can respect my ideas equally. He should make me feel good and willing to stay longer with him. And I have no hesitation in repeating for the nth time that Raghu has been my best and perfect date so far.

Honestly, this question has too much of speculation and hence a lot of ifs and buts. I can't answer confidently about things I am not totally sure. But given a choice I'd prefer to be Indian any time and any number of times.

Earlier Red was my fav, then green. For a while yellow was my passion and one day my mom noted that most of my dresses had a touch of blue ( uncnsciously ). Usually I feel black is just majestic. Having said all this, I have realized that I like all colours equally. I am not excactly sure of the technicalities or what coulour depicts what type of psychology a person has, but I have grown to like all colours. It is just that the colour has to be in tune with the situation. Each colour has its own magic and purpose, otherwise the world would cease to be the beauty that it is...

Your questions need serious concentration to answer correctly. Lets see...

1) What is one thing about Raghu that you do NOT like?
His intensity for his beloved ones. As much as a slight headache to anyone of them and he gets furious and shouts at everyone, doesn't eat and creates a mess until the person gets well. Sometimes somuch of love can be scary...:(

2) What is your reaction when people(both on forums n in ur life) make fun of remix and/or its characters???
I feel "bandar kya jaane adrakka swaad;) :D ". I am sick and tired of people making fun of me for being a fan of this kiddy serial. Initially I got agitated but now I feel, let them have THEIR OPINION, I like what I LIKE and that's just about it.

3) What is the thing about Tia-Ranny's relationship that most people say and you feel it's NOT true?
Well, for good or bad I think Tia is a shade unrealistic and Ranveer doesn't try enough to get her to accept the realities. And I think they should have been more communicative. In this era of open communication and mobilephones, it is sad that their relationship gets into trouble due to non communicatioon or ineffective communication.

4) What is the thing about Ashi-Yuvi's relationship that most people say and you feel it's NOT true?
I don't think there is anything unrealistic. The kind of characters Ashi and Yuvi are given to be , I think they are going perfectly on their charater lines. I'd be really curious to know how their "romantic" relation proceeds for so how long..., because even if the y do end upin romance , it wont be like a common and conventional Love Bird Pair.

5) On a scale of 1 to 10, how would rate urself in apologizing to others for mistakes on your part?

I'd rate myself 8-9. Usually I have no unnecessary ego hassles to admit if I am wrong. Actually if I realize that I am wrong I can't sleep properly or face myself in mirror until I apologize to the person concerned. But in 1 or 2 cases in real life ( pl don't insist on revealing them), I KNOW I am making a mistake and yet I don't feel like apologizing.
6) On a scale of 1 to 10, how would u rate urself in accepting others' apologies for mistakes that they have made???

For me apologizing is just an expression to admit you have made a mistake. Theapology can be read in eyes and body language. I feel odd when someone "says" an apology. If the behavior can improve, I am more than ok with it. Yet gain my rating is 8-9 because in that particular 1 or 2 cases I have shut out any possibility of patch up. Mom has been insisting on changing but... I guess this is the human side of me.



7) Do you store remix pics on ur computer? If so, how many do you have?
I do save but Very few, max 4-5. I love to have more bu the images are not clear. If I have clear images, I will surely have them.8) You seem to be a philosophical person. So have you read any books on the subject? If yes, which ones?

No philly books at all. My Mom is my GREATEST book.

I live in this day, this hour and this minute. Nothing much. But Now.., just since my bro got married, I am trying to plan how to spend the time with the Next Generation Champion who might come....
