Hello
Ajay is waiting for a call
Ajay Gehi who plays Aryan in Ek Ladki Anjani Si is missing from the show for many days now. He has not shot for the show for the last 20 days. Gehi says he last shot for the show on 25th May and after that the production house has not called him back for the shoot.
"I tried to call my production house with whom I was working but they are not responding to my calls. Either their phones are unreachable or they are not picking up. So now, I have spoken to the channel and they said that they would talk to the production house and sort out the issue. I am waiting for their call. But it seems that nothing is happening right now," says Ajay.
The actor says that he is completely unaware about what is happening with respect to his role in the show. "After I finished my shot in May they have not called me for shooting and nor have they informed me about what is happening with my track in the show. Now let the channel call me then I will decide whether I want to work with them or not. I have no clue what the production house is thinking. However, the channel's attitude towards me is extremely positive. They told me that they felt nice working with me. So they will surely talk to production house and let me know."
"I don't know what is going to happen with Aryan's track. I know vaguely about the show and that also through papers and all. However, that day I suddenly read news in the paper that new character is going to enter into the show and story will revolve around Ananya-Nikhil and this new person. They will have love triangle. However, I do not know about the future. Before this, my track was going smoothly," adds Gehi.
Ajay was last seen in the serial Milee. He has done 100 advertisements, a small role in Raman Kumar's Raahein, hosted Mud Mud Ke Dekh, Double Mann Double Mazaa, Superhit Muqabla, done comedy show for Channel 9, a comedy serial Mamla Gadbad Hai, Kinare Milte Hai and films like Maqbool, Ghoom, (Spoof on Dhoom) and 7 1/2 Phere.

Hello
Karishma Tanna who rose to fame as Kyunki's Indu is currently busy getting her comic timing right for Comedy Circus. But the peppy actress is more kicked about her upcoming Tamil film.
"I always thought TV was my passport for films. Right now, I am taking tamil lessons and very soon I will be off to Chennai to begin shooting. Though right now (she laughs) I can't even pronounce the name of the film" she says gushing with excitement.
The bubbly actress is also currently meeting up with other Bollywood producers.
"I am looking at doing a crossover film, but I cannot reveal the details right now," says Karishma
The lanky actor was last appreciated for her negative act in Ek Ladki Anjani si. Recalling her experience, she says" I loved the role, as it was my first negative act on the small screen. Not just this, but it was also an interesting character role. I am taking a break from television. But I've learned everything here in tellywood. Not just about acting but even about people and the politics in life, " she reveals.
Not many remember but in the past, Karishma had also played some lead roles in shows like Kahin To Milenge and Koi Dil Mein Hain. But somehow, these shows did not rake in TRPs. But undeterred the actor has continued to bag some plum assigments along the way. And now she's making hay while the sun shines.

If you have seen 'kasauti Zindagi ki'., in that there is a little girl
who needs bone marrow transplant and her parents marrow does not match
so they decide to have another child to give the bone marrow......
even though they are divorced they go ahead and have another child

Mamma Mia --> Sai
Hello
Information.
I want to enjoy motherhood: Sai Deodhar
Busy with ‘Ek Ladki Anjani Si’, Sai Deodhar believes that this special phase in her life can wait
Playing the new Ananya, after Kanchi Kaul’s exit in ‘Ek Ladki Anjani Si’ (Sony), you seem to be doing well.
I thank God for this. When I was approached for the role the show was in a crisis and it was going to wrap up within two months. I accepted the role as it was interesting. But I kept praying to God to help me do my best. I didn’t want people to think that the show went off air because I didn’t perform well. Obviously, people didn’t know that the show anyways was scheduled to wrap up. Since then it’s been nine months and the show is doing extremely well!
Were you apprehensive about replacing the popular Kanchi?
I too was quite well-known. People knew that I could act. I wasn’t nervous about replacing Kanchi at all. Though, making people accept another face was a big responsibility.
Is it fun to have your husband Shakti Anand as your co-star?
Shakti has been my co-star long before he became my husband. Working together is not new to us. We are extremely professional. If a stranger were to visit the sets he wouldn’t even know that we are married. But it helps when while doing a scene together we see to it that both of us give our best. That culminates into a good shot.
Are you a possessive wife?
No, I feel proud that people like him. He is a good actor and a great-looking guy. There are many women who come and tell me that they would love to have a son like him.
Why aren’t you taking up more work?
I am content with ‘Ek Ladki…’ Honestly, a daily soap doesn’t let you take up anything else. It consumes all my time and energy.
Are you planning to start a family?
Not yet. I want to enjoy motherhood. I don’t want to rush into it. It is unfair if parents cannot give time to their baby.

An Interview with Kavita Kapoor
'Unless I get a meaningful role, I won't take it up'
Posted on 30 January 2002
Indian television has not been able to boast of many gorgeous women. And when the few that are, disappear from the small screen, it invites curiosity. Kavita Kapoor is one such. She appeared with a comet like ferocity on the television horizon, making heads turn in Saans and Just Mohabbat and then vanished in a similar haze.
The young actor has done just a few select serials. Yet her performance in each has left a mark. For someone not trained to act, Kavita's confidence levels, both in her performances and in real life are amazing. She comes across just as intelligent and discerning as she is good looking. Excerpts from an interview with indiantelevision.com correspondent Amar.
After being all over the small screen just a year ago, you seem to have suddenly disappeared. Where have you been?
(laughs) I haven't disappeared. It's just that I have always been very selective. The serials that I had been doing have wound up and the newer ones will take time to come on air. But I'm doing Justujoo. At the moment, it's a small role but will become more prominent as the story progresses.
I don't feel incomplete as an actor because I don't follow the method school of acting.
Okay, lets go back in time. When did the idea of being an actor first come to your mind?
I guess it's always been there. Even as a child, I passionately wanted to be an actor. I wanted to learn acting at the NSD. However, we are a conservative family and my parents were absolutely against the idea. I took up law in college, as a new five-year course had just been introduced and it fascinated me. However, what is destined to happen, does happen. So after completing my studies, I came to Mumbai and acting happened.
Have you trained yourself as an actor?
No, I haven't. I've just performed in plays at school and college.
Is there any area where you feel training would have helped?
Perhaps it would help my diction. See, much of Amitabh Bachchan's or Shekhar Suman's success can be attributed to their command over the language. Unfortunately, in the atmosphere in which we have been brought up, we don't speak Hindi the way it should be spoken. Training could have helped improve my diction.
Are you a method actor or do you go by your instincts?
I go purely by instinct. I apply my mind to how a character would behave in a given situation and try to lose myself in that character. There was an occasion in Saans where I had to enact a scene portraying a violent rage. Now, I got carried away by the character to such an extent that I had to be cautioned lest I smash things. I have always trusted my instincts.
Do you feel there is no need for anything like method acting?
I wouldn't make a sweeping statement like that. But I am very clear that I don't feel incomplete as an actor because I don't follow the method school of acting. Tomorrow if I feel there is a need to learn method acting, I might even take it up.
Many untrained actors tend to overdo things or simply overact. Did you face this problem?
No. On the other hand, I have had people asking me if I deliberately underplay. People don't realize that 95 per cent of the times, they are acting in real life too. Even a simple act of concealing something about yourself is acting. People tend to overact when they are consciously thinking that they have to act. But I was always very clear about my style of acting. I never took to the loud and overplayed style.
What factors do you take into consideration before taking up a role?
Primarily, it's the role, followed by the story and the production set-up; in that order.
It's not easy to be so selective given the dearth of quality stuff and the economics of the medium.
Doesn't acting in TV serials get monotonous and clichéd beyond a point?
No, not for me. The reason for that is I have not taken on similar roles. That is also the reason why people remember my characters. In fact, I refuse twice as many roles as I accept. See, the purpose of acting should not be to be just seen. Unless I get a meaningful role, I won't take it up. And when I say that, let me also add here that it's not easy to be so selective given the dearth of quality stuff and the economics of the medium.
How do you keep yourself charged? Do you follow a regimen?
I thoroughly enjoy my work and that is what keeps me charged all the time. I give a lot of thinking to any character I play, watch my own performances so that I may work and improve on them. Beyond that, the only regimen I follow a fitness schedule that keeps me in shape.
On a scale of 10, how would you rate yourself as an actor?
4.5.
Aren't you being modest? Which areas do you feel you need to improve?
No I'm not being modest. I feel I need to be more uninhibited in my body language; my dialogue delivery in different roles needs to be more distinctive and my diction needs to improve.
Who are your favourite actors?
Balraj Sahani, Guru Dutt and Sanjeev Kumar.
Have your picked any stylistic elements from them?
None. I have been very careful to project myself as an absolute original. In fact, very early in my career, I've had people emulating my style - the way my hair is done, the way I speak etc.
Are you satisfied with what you have achieved in your career on TV so far?
No. In fact, I am eagerly looking forward to doing real challenging roles that haven't come to me so far.
Why haven't they? Do you feel your unconventional good looks make people undermine the actor in you?
I don't know. Agreed I look westernized which rules me out for certain roles but then unconventional looks are thriving today. Doesn't Aishwarya Rai have unconventional looks? Besides, I've never really depended so much on my looks. In fact, I've had the writers of Saans tell me that only I could have brought out the character so well.
Which has been the happiest moment of your career?
That was in 1996 when after a hugely successful ad campaign for Ericsson, my parents told me they were proud of me and reassured me that I was on the right track.
What does the future hold for you?
At the moment, I'm not thinking of anything apart from acting. For the next few years, it's going to be acting and more acting. I just hope I get the kind of roles I've wanted to do.

KAVITA KAPOOR
A mind of her own
Riding high on her popularity as Rewa in Kittie Party, Kavita Kapoor talks about her career, from the famous Ericsson advertisement to daily soaps. Excerpts
The Ericsson mobile ‘one black coffee’ ad catapulted you to instant fame...how does it feel to be be still known as the Ericsson mobile girl?
There is no doubt that things would have been quite different if the Ericsson ad had not happened to me. I have been in the industry since many years, but I got noticed only after the ad. My friend, actor-director Anant Mahadevan once joked, “Ericsson has done for you what Rangeela did for Urmila Matondkar (Laughs).” Come to think of it, I almost didn’t do the advertisement.
You graduated to being known as Manisha in Saans...
Yes, Saans made me a household name. It was very strange. I would forget I am Manisha once the pack-up was announced. But wherever I would go, women would pull their husbands away from me. They thought I was all set to break everyone’s homes.
How did you analyse Manisha’s character?
I feel she was the most loyal of all the characters in the serial. Yes, she gets involved with a married man, but look at her committment towards him. Gautam is the one who was married and yet got involved with another woman. Manisha didn’t put a gun on his head, did she? Even Priya played by Neena Gupta almost gets involved with the teacher. So everyone has someone else in their life except Manisha. She was in love with Gautam and couldn’t see beyond him.
That’s a fair observation, but do you think viewers registered and understood Manisha’s loyalty?
The reaction to the serial, interestingly was divided. The older generation mainly thought of Manisha as a home breaker but the younger generation realised that Manisha was more faithful to Gautam than Priya.
What was the reaction from viewers abroad?
It was unbelievable, I have been more recognised abroad than in India. The NRI community watched Saans religiously. I remember, once I had gone abroad to visit my brother. We went to a restaurant owned by an Indian Sardar family and it would be frequented by celebrities like Janet Jackson and William Shatner. I was quietly dining with my brother and suddenly the owner recognised me and called out to his family. They were so excited to meet Manisha from Saans. Throughout the week I recieved royal treatment. They took me shopping and sight seeing; it was great.
Your brother can surely hope for special treatement at the restaurant now?
Yes, he was joking and telling me that he had been eating at the restaurant for years and the owner never gave him a second glance. But now, my brother is looking forward to recieving royal treatment (Laughs).
Did you always have the support of your family when it came to your profession?
They were terrified of my decision initially. Education was hugely important to my family. I was studying to become a lawyer when I broke the news to them. They were shocked but I explained that this is the best way I can express myself. Now , of course, they are very proud of me.
Currently your character Rewa in Kittie Party is recieving popularity... how did you land the role?
I was working with Manish Goswami in a serial called Aashirwad. He mentioned that he was contemplating a woman-oriented daily serial. I didn’t give much thought to it then. Several months later, he called and said the project was going to begin and offered me the role. The story, treatment and my role sounded very promising and I agreed.
What attracted you to the story?
I think the idea of portraying a group of spirited women and their lives, appealed to me immediately. As a spectator, I expect to see quality content. So, before I take up a project I ask myself if, I as a viewer, would like to see it.
How about Yes Boss...did you take it up as a recourse from doing serious roles?
Absolutely. I really wanted to do a comedy and Yess Boss came at the right time. It’s so much fun doing a comedy. We laugh more on the sets than when actually acting. I feel great to be accepted both in serious roles as well as comedy.
Yes Boss is watched by a lot of kids. How do you feel having kids as your fans?
It’s really nice. Recently I had attended a school function as the chief guest. The principal while introducing me spoke of all my roles but missed out Yes Boss. And you won’t believe this- the kids actually called out, Meera from Yes Boss! That was so sweet. But I disapprove of kids watching serials like Saans and Kittie Party. When Saans was on air, little kids would come for my autograph and I would think to myself, why is this kid watching Saans. I think I would make a very strict mother.
Whenever you have done a project, you come to be known as the character. As an actor, is that a blessing or a curse?
That’s a correct observation. When I did Saans I was known as Manisha, then I came to be known as the Just Mohabbat mother. And now people call me Rewa. I keep wondering if anyone knows my name at all! But I take it as a compliment. Recently, Delnaz Paul, my co-star in Yes Boss said,”I cannot imagine anyone doing the role of Meera other than you.” I was very touched.
So you’d say it’s a blessing?
I know I lose my identity whenever I play a character. Before Saans, I did a serial on DD where I played a Pakistani doctor. Even then I was known as Doctor Appa and not Kavita Kapoor. I definitely take that as a positive thing.
The downside must be, getting offers for similar roles?
Yes. I have recieved innumerable offers to play the Just Mohabbat mother or the ‘other woman’, but I refuse them. I do not want to play a role similar to what I am already playing. Now that Rewa is popular I am avoiding offers that are similar.
How do you feel whenyou get recognised?
It feels strange, to be honest. I always get surprised when I am recognised. When I go out to eat I often absent mindedly wonder why people are staring. I feel like a normal, working woman.
Is it easy to let fame go to one’s head?
I don’t know. I have continued my life the same way as I was living before. I still drive my own car, do my own work. Why do I need people to do things for me? I was doing all this before I became known. I don’t need to show that I am pampered.
What are your future projects?
There are a few in the pipeline, but I am superstitious. I don’t want to talk about them till things are finalised. All I can say is that the roles are very different from what I am doing currently.
Have you been offered film roles?
Plenty, but nothing that appealed. I don’t mind doing a small role but it should be important to the story. It shouldn’t be a role that just anyone can do. For example Kiron Kher’s role in Devdas was the smallest but everyone came out of the theatre talking about her performance. I’ve also been offered lead roles in a few arty films but so far nothing has interested me.
You seem very content doing television...
I am. Television has incredible scope and offers a huge range to an actor. I have done roles in serials that I wouldn’t have been able to do in 20 years in films. I have done roles that most top actresses have had the chance to perform. Just Mohabbat was such an imaginative serial. I played an 80-year old woman, a stammerer and even a ghost. In Saans, my character was layered as it is in Kittie Party. And then I play this comical mad woman in Yes Boss. For actresses, this range is impossible in films.
Do you feel success has come to you easily?
Not at all. I have been acting for longer than most people think. I had a very unconventional face and directors were apprehensive to take the risk of casting me. But I believe that, ‘what is meant to happen ...will.’
You seem very philosophically inclined?
I am, I think. I also read a lot.
I have a feeling you like quotes, do you?
I love them! Two of my favourite quotes are :‘Do on to others as others would do to you’ and ‘Under promise - over deliver’.

"I'll look sexy on my own terms"
Negaar Khan
Sultry vamp Negaar Z Khan is back with a bang on Sony's Ek Ladki Anjaani Si. She also plays a comic character Angelina in Sab's Yess Boss.
We had a quick tete-e-tete with Negaar about both her acts.
You are re-entering Ek Ladki Anjaani Si ?
Yes. Laila is back with a bang. She has been reintroduced as Dhruv's(Cezzane Khan) cousin. Laila who had a soft corner for Nikhil Samarth (Shakti Anand) earlier will now go all out to woo him. The fact that Nikhil is married to Ananya (Sai Deodhar) doesn't matter to her.
Why did you quit the show last year?
That time Laila was doing nothing except looking pretty. I couldn't waste my talent, so I quit. This was exactly the same reason why I left Zaara, Pyaar Ki Saugat as well. But the fact that the channel and production house have called me again gives me hope that I will get enough meat this time around.
Could you tell us about the revamped Yes Boss ?
I am very happy to be a part of this SAB TV show. The setting has been changed from an advertising firm to a News channel called `Hot News.' I play Angelina, the main Boss, who pushes her office staff to do anything to garner high TRPs.
Angelina is not stupid but all the situations she creates are very funny. My track is mostly weaved around Asif Sheikh and Rakeesh Bedi.
Is there a romantic angle between Angelina and Mohanjee (Rakeesh Bedi)?
Angelina does not love Mohan but she sure has a soft corner for him. If you remember when Angelina first appeared as a geek, only Mohan had sympathized with her. Hence, she always tries her best to stay close to him.
You've been around for quite sometime in the industry. How do you rate the industry lately?
I think we are all getting into a rut. The production houses are only interested in keeping their budgets low, hence they keep introducing new faces. Nobody is bothered to see whether these kids even know the ABCD of the trade.
But if actors don't do their job properly, will it not affect the overall quality?
In today's scene, actors just don't matter. What you only need is a hit story that resonates well with the audiences. Channels and production houses know that with the correct setting, they can even make a ordinary girl look sexy.
You have mostly done negative roles(Lipstick, Hum Do Hain Na,) how has the public feedback been ?
It's been great. The fact that people hate me so much proves that I am doing my work very well.
Don 't you think that vamps need to be less dolled up on screen?
I know what you mean. But the creative team forces us to go overboard with make up and loud facial expressions. At times, I do put my foot down. You want me to look sexy, I will do it, but on my own terms.

My Den --> Kavita Kapoor
A huge six ft- long s-shaped burnt cane settee lying on the floor to the left of the entrance, takes up most of the passage area leading to the sitting room. Every spare space on the walls is taken up by paintings done by Kavita Kapoor, the proud owner of this 3,000 sq ft house in Nariman Point, right opposite the Air India building. Tastefully done, the house reflects this interior decorator's personality. Managing The Design Centre for the past 30 years, Kapoor -- who's name features in the seventh edition of the International Women's Who's Who -- is now doing bungalows and landscapes. "This is much more satisfying, how long can you run around looking for taps and renewing upholstery?" she asks.
The living room leads off to the balcony -- her green room -- filled with 20-odd plants. "All my creative ideas take shape here. Plants are a part and parcel of my interiors," she says. Kavita either works on a marble-topped table or on a cane chair stuffed with cushions.
Otherwise, she prefers sitting in thefar corner of her living room with her study table cordoned off with by an antique wooden divider. The only other antique pieces here are two huge Chinese urns and three miniature paintings. The sitting room has huge terracotta pots -- 10 of them -- and lots of plants. A corner table made of tempered glass set on two huge rocks catches your eye. All surrounded by indoor gulmohar and creepers. "Being one with nature helps creative thought," says Kavita.

The damsels Pixie (Achint Kaur), Manju (Poonam Dhillon), Tina (Shweta Salve), Rewa (Kavita Kapoor), Kuku (Deepshikha), Vidya (Maya Alagh), and Niloufer (Preeti Dayal) will let their hair down at the Egyptian party.
A weekly, which airs from Sunday to Wednesday at 10:30 pm, has prior to the Egyptian party canned few theme parties like the kids party- where the protagonist dressed as and behaved like kids, Hawaiian party, and lavani party- where the leading ladies dressed up in nine-yard saris.
An integral part of the show, kitty parties are setting for the women discuss the issues in their lives and revel in the camaraderie. In a theme party, a dress code is decided by the lady who organises the kitty party and all members have to dress up and join in for the party.
The latest kitty party is at Pixie's place and the episode ends on a sour note, unlike other theme parties. There is a major confrontation between Manju (Poonam Dhillon) and Rewa (Kavita Kapoor). For those not clued into the show, Manju was assumed dead. With Rewa provides both monetary and financial support to Manju's husband Manoviraj (Kiran Kumar), an emotional bond develops between them and they decide to get married. However, Manju comes back on the day of their wedding, only to discover her husband's marriage to Rewa. Thus arises a conflict. This party had the kitty ladies divided into two group one pro-Rewa and another pro-Manju.
Speaking to indiantelevision.com Poonam Dhillon said, "This time, the theme party was less stressful compared to all the previous one. The main reason was that the Egyptian party did not demand costume revelry, unlike the other theme parties like lavani, where we ladies took nearly half a day to get ready."
Kavita Kapoor offered, "It was fun to have the entire gang after a long time. Normally, only a few of us are required for the shoot. I thought that it was a picnic- lots of jokes, sharing of food, back-slapping..."
The Egyptian party was shot at Magnum Studios at Mumbai suburb Andheri for nearly two and half days.

Bookworm Kavita
Kavita Kapoor of Yes Boss fame seems to be an avid book lover. At the Magna Books Super Sale at Sanorita Exhibition Hall, Juhu, she spent over three hours checking out the books on display and eventually, spent all the money she had on buying varied books.
She even commented,“If I had an extra room in my house, I would’ve bought all these books.” The only person who probably complained was the friend who accompanied her — he had to carry the books! He seemed flustered when Kavita promised to be back before the sale ends on October

Hello
Kittie Party is a new serial on Zee TV, telecasted at 10.00pm Sun-Thursday. Do not confuse it with another of those ’’Ekta Kapoor & her lucky K serial’’
Kavita Kapoor --> { Reva } --> is excellent as the Some what Negative Aggressive Lady of the whole group. All the other members hate her but cannot get rid of her as she is already a part of their Kitty. However, she is the most interesting character in the serial. There are many shades to her & she is often potrayed as the heartless wife & friend. She’s very aggressive and upfront as a businesswoman. But at the same time she has very compassionate, with her friend’s children.

Thought And A Message
Hello
A Four year old was admitted to a Hospital due to a fracture of a bone in her leg. As it was an open fracture, she had to undergo an operation to stitch the protruding bone back in its place.
Although it was quite a minor operation, still she was hooked on to life supporting system, as it is part of the procedure. The Doctors had to input some data prior to the operation to suit different conditions.
Thereafter the operation proceeded. Half way through the process, the life supporting system went dead. The culprit ? Some Thoughtless, Irresponsible Person was using his / her Cellular Phone outside the Operation Theatre.
And the frequencies had affected the system. They tried to track the Person but to no avail.
The little Girl, young and full of Innocence, died soon after. Sad to say she was the only child.
Recently In my area, on a busy Highway / Freeway ; A marriage party Van and a Passenger Bus Collided and few persons died, including young lives. According to the Bus Passenger – He was traveling in the Bus, stated that The Bus Driver was on his Cellular Phone, a few Kilometers earlier he narrowly missed hitting a three wheeler. And the Van Driver, on his third pick up, was also on his Cellular Phone ! ! !
Message :Be Compassionate, Responsible and sensitive to the messages and signs where you are told not to use the Cellular Phones. Use them, but Please Do Not misuse them. Pause for a minute or two, stop doing whatever, you are doing, even walking on the road to receive and finish talking on the Cellular Phone. Please Do Not Use Cellular Phone Where You Are Not Supposed To.
Pass this thought and message to as many as you can since many of us are not aware of the reality and seriousness of the misuse of the hand / cellular phone.

Read that Ek Ladki Anjani Si is on its last legs, and has Seven more episodes. I think it ought to have ended long time back, but as they say all things good must come to an end. Better later than never.
During the last Five, Six Months that I have been updating Videos and written updates since three odd months, without fail, have been my most pleasurable moments. I will continue to do so till the end.
I hope I have done a good job.

Every day’s a Sunday?
Ek Ladki Anjaani Si to go off air soon. This means Sai and Shakti Anand are left jobless
By Kavita Shyam
Sai Deodhar and Shakti Anand
Ek Ladki Anjaani Si is set to go off air on September 12. As a result, Sai and Shakti Anand who are both working in the show, and have carved an identity through it, will now be jobless. Shakti has been working in the show for the last two years while Sai joined it last year. The duo rejected lots of offers from the television industry in India and abroad, while they were doing the show. So where do they go from here now?
Says Sai, "Mine is a mixed reaction now, about the show ending. The show has been such a part of my life for the last one year and has been getting good TRPs. I will miss it a lot. And yes, I do regret not taking on a couple of shows which were offered to me by producers from Dubai. And a couple of offers from the television industry here as well. They were to begin in September-October this year, so I had no dates. It is late to rethink about those shows now. I am feeling a bit insecure, since I don't know if I'll be shooting tomorrow. This profession is very unpredictable these days."
Adds Sai, "Earlier, it was planned that the show would go off air last December, but it continued for a long time so it feels like an achievement as well. At present, I am looking forward to a holiday. Of course, if I get work quickly, it will be great."
On the other hand, husband Shakti Anand seemed pretty relaxed about his future. He said, "The show is coming to an end and I am happy that it's ending with dignity. We've planned a one-and-a-half-month world tour, which will be a good break for us. I'm sure we will get work later. I am happy with the kind of investment I've made so far, so I can wait for projects to come my way. As an actor, anyway you don't really get to enjoy life."
So, why is Ek Ladki… shutting shop? Says Misha Gautam, producer of the show, "Sony is trying to change all its shows. The TRPs of the shows are low, so the channel is bringing in new shows. It's time to get newer stuff on the channel. We have completed 360 episodes over two years, which is a long run."
The last day of shooting will be held on September 6, when the entire unit of the show plan to party on the set.

Man, you have been doing a super job.
Do you know what Cezanne's plans are.
I always felt that he did not get a proper
part in ELAS.
He was not exploited properly
anyway the story was Nikhil_ Ananya's
and he joined it only because he had to leave Kasauti.

Hello Devaki
Thank you so much for your kind and sweet words. I believe your appreciation has indeed completed my posting, whatever little I could do, and made me feel overwhelmed. Indeed it has been my pleasure, Devaki.
As of now I have not come Across any news with regards to Cezanne's plan but I know that he is working in a Pakistani Serial, whether Old or present I am not aware. If you need any more Information I could try and post it here.
To be frank in a multi star cast, serials spaning about 20 minutes durations, Each actor does not get his due, plus these days are not really any good and watchable serials. But I must say In the Last few episodes He, Cezanne, did Fabulous job.
Yes May be, guess you are right, about his departure from Kasuati, and E L A S is about Annanya, and He Primarily joined E L A S to make it Elastic, that is stretch it.
