The most awaited Agnipariksha round commences this week and we will also know who are the 2 singers who join the list of 12 already selected singers.. The results of the Brahmastra round will be announced in this episode.. But before that we have the start of the Agnipariksha round by the 4 Gharanas..

Group Performance by the four Gharana Contestants along with mentors

Aditya enters and greets everyone.. He says from now on its the audience who will take the charge of eliminating the contestants as the voting starts and we have to also look what the Awam has decided for the Brahmastra contestants and who will join the VS Hit Squad.. He also says more than 7 Lakh votes have been received for this round..

Josh Gharana:

Aditya announces that in Josh gharana there are contestants from Chattisgargh, Maharashtra and America..

Bappida, Mauli, Sumedha and Abhijit enter the stage and sing Athani kamaai, kharcha rupaiya (Bombay to Goa) and main aaya tere liye.. At last they end the performance by singing dil mein hain josh, udadenge hosh..

Aditya asks what preparation has been done by the Josh gharana contestants.. Bappida says he is very happy that he has got these contestants.. Abhijit is very good, Mauli is Shakira of India and Sumedha is Britney Spears.. SMS for them and make them win..

Yalgaar Gharana:

ID enter with Amanat Ali, Poonam and Rimi Dhar - Amanat starts singing Jabta k bikna na thaa.. Thy all sing together karam kar ae maula.. At last they finish with singing yalgaar ho.. Aditya asks ID what is the preparation of Yalgaar gharana.. He says it will be seen on the stage, asks should they show it here? Aditya replies, no let them show it on stage..

Rock Gharna:

Aditya introduces this gharana to be having the most no of challengers.. They sing Asalam Valekum.. Aneek sings major part of the song..
After performance, Aditya says Aap ka suroor has got tremendous opening.. It has maximum opening and crossed the opening of many blockbusters.. He reads a SMS from Times of India - which says Aap ka suroor is big hit and when the curtains fall this year, there will be one man whose name will be taken and that will be Himesh..

Himesh thanks the audience for making his film a big success.. Aditya says his Mother was here in last episode and gave him blessings here, Himesh continues saying that this film was released on his mother's birthday and now its a grand success.. An artist always wants that his films always get good opening, many shows are run and that has happened with him and he is happy for that.. He also says there is 1% of the audience who are the critics and he always tries to make them happy and he will prove them wrong..

For the preparation question Himesh answers "Rock gharana is ready for every challenge and lets see who take this world cup - India, Pakistan or overseas"

Hit IT Gharana:

Vishal-Shekhar along with Apurva and junaid sing thodi masti thoda pyaar from Jhankaar beats and conclude singing Aa dekhe zara kismein kitna hain dum.. Vishal says in this profession its always audience who give their support and they are the most important people.. he thanks the audience for giving them the support and also for selecting them for Brahmastra..

Aditya reads a letter -

I had the opportunity to watch saregamapa June 1st episode where I heard Sumedha singing the song composed by Ismail Darbar and would like to give her an opportunity to sing in one of the films..

She is excited to get the contract, it is also shown to all the viewers.. Bappida says if Mahesh Bhatt takes some star, they become a hit.. So, wish her best and says this may be the first time when if the person is champion or not, they have got the contract to sing..

ID also wish her best and says - "saregamapa ka izzat rakhna" If she does not sing well, Mahesh Bhatt can take away the contract at any time, he gives chance to only selected people..

All the contestants are called on stage.. ID again takes the issue of whether to bring Aneek and Abhijeet back to the contest or not.. He also asks Aneek to come on stage.. He says Australia has 3 consecutive wins and in next world cup they cannot come directly into the finals.. In the same way if they have won the contest, how can they get direct entry.. If this is the point, then Amanat who was the winner of middle east must also have got the direct entry.. This is competition and asks from where the competition should start? For this Aditya says these two were selected from public voting and those people like Amanat, Sikander, Musarrat and Junaid came through auditions..

Aditya asks the views of other mentors also.. Himesh says he will not go against ID, Bappida also leaves it to the hands of Zee to decide

Vishal objects for this and says Aneek should be in as it was already decided in the previous episode.. He says they have got 2 new contestants from Brahmastra, Himesh has got one and Bappida has got one, so if he wants he can be given an opportunity.. ID objects for this and says its not because he doesnot have one contestant he is taking this issue.. This issue is because all the other contestants should not be affected.. According to him, the 2 contestants should not come and participate and be part of Challenge 2007..

Yalgaar Gharana:

Rimi Dhar sings O Solemiya from Pop corn khao mast ho jao.. She then asks for vote, and also speaks in Bengali and says she belongs to Bengal but now stays in Madhya Pradesh

Today's Group Performance..

The show begins with the 14 finalists and Aditya singing the title song of Saregamapa.. After the performance, Aditya greets everyone and announces that now the competition is getting tougher and its all in public's hands as to whom they want to bring in.. The participants have to really work hard to get through.. As its all going to be music for the participants, Nokia is providing the finalists with a Nokia 5700 phone where they can store 500 songs and listen to them.. They can sit in their bunglow and perform.. He distributes it to all the contestants..

Shekhar - Just now was asking Bappida to sing some song and he did it.. Thanks him and tells he has created a good mood here..

ID also says to Bappida, he sang so well now that he is feeling very good.. To Mussarat he says - "He always reminds in the upper notes, now he has come down, but needs to come down still".. Nirupama's voice quality was good - But she went off sur.. Joy also sang Alvida, he then sarcastically comments on the composition of that song saying - dunno what song it was.. He sang well even that song, so all credit goes to Joy.. Aneek is a powerful performer.. He sang very well..

VS say Nirupama's voice will suite for recording.. Mussarat has always been good.. Aneek's performance was so good that it left behind the other's performances..

Nirupama's performance was good.. Mussarat was unprepared for the song, but still sang well.. Aneek has lot of potential to win this contest.. Joy also sang well..

After this, Himesh praises Aditya and thanks him for not letting him down by taking his position as the judge nor did he let down the audience.. Aditya is star of Saregamapa..

july 21st writtin update - c 2007:

Initial performances, Theme and Introduction of Guests

The show begins with all the participants along with Aditya singing Ho gaya re Ho gaya from Partner. First the guys and Aditya start singing (you are my love) and then the girls continue.. All the contestants are having some instruments in their hand and are also playing it. Amanat and Raja have drums, Junaid has a guitar. Girls are also having some or the other instrument. once they complete, Do you want a partner song is played in the background and Salman enters the stage from somewhere down the stage.. The promo of the film is also shown.. Even now the contestants are playing their respective instruments.-------------------------------------------------------------
Aditya welcomes Salman.. Salman asks - "Kitna bada ho gaya hain yeh, Iske naak se bhi tapakte thee when I met him first" He asks Aditya if he remembers or he has forgotten.. Aditya says the film name was Jab pyaar kisi se hota hain.. The scenes where Salman and Aditya played the important role in the movie is shown.. -------------------------------------------------------
Aditya asks Salman to talk about the movie Partner.. He says the movie has had a good opening and he had to do a lot of hard work as govinda was part of it and he made him do the shots more than 10 times until its perfect. Its a funny picture and it was fun doing it.. The hardwork can be seen in the picture.. -----------------------------------------------------------------
Aditya calls Lara on stage.. He calls her aunty as Salman had asked him to address her like that.. Lara asks him not to call like that and says she will call Salman as bhai then. Salman then asks Aditya not to call her aunty. About the movie she says - she is a Journalist in the movie and she is one who is always behind stories and she is behind Salman as he is one among Don gang.. She wishes all the contestants best of luck.. Today all contestants will sing Salman's hit songs.. Salman says - "He will not allow if they sing Aamir or Shahrukh songs"

Rock Gharana

Joy - Salman gives him an advice before he starts.. He says - "Naak se mat gaana".. You can remove the topi. So, remove it.. Himesh says - "Salman is in front and he cannot say anything now".. Joy says - "He loves Salman and will love till end of the life.. Salman thanks him..
He sings - Dil keh raha hain from kyunki.. The energy level was really good..

Comments:
Lara - The way you sang with fun and energy - I liked the performance..
Salman - I liked your performance, but did not like the way you hold the mike.. You should have hold it in Himesh's style.. Have worn, Jacket, Cap so you should have done this also.. Himesh says - "I cannot say anything when Salman is in front of me".. Salman then continues - You could have done better, but was so good.. This would have been Himesh's first song but Kunal sang it (asks Himesh who sang then gets the answer from Joy) In this song there is a different style adopted by Kunal - you tried to bring it - but you could have done better.. But somehow you did well.. Himesh says - "Naak se nahin gaaaya na isiliye

Aditya says - Once more and asks the audience if they want Salman on stage or not.. Salman asks Aneek to wear the shirt again.. He says - he will give 2.5 for his body, 4.5 for confidence and 2.5 for his singing...

Lara Dutta - you could have done better
Salman - I dont know about Sur, but your attitude was very good.. Even the singers give many takes while singing.. Singing in one take is difficult.. Lara gives you 6, i give you 2.5

Next Aditya calls Hunk of Saregamapa - Junaid on stage.
Before the performance, Junaid speaks to Salman. He says he has nothing to say all is said and done by other contestants. But he has been a big fan of Salman and has always followed him while work outs. He always does a step that Salman does in Hello Brother and he does that and shows to Salman. Salman does not remember then Junaid makes him remember that it was the step when he used to meet Arbaaz in the movie. Salman says he is always there in present and future and does not consider about the past.
Junaid sings Aisa pehli baar hua hain from Har dil jo pyaar karega.. During his performance, VS stand and dance and so does Salman. After his performance they says they are really proud of him..

Salman asks him from where he takes the voice? All of them in audience, Shekhar shout - Once More.. He then starts singing.. All the mentors except Bappida start dancing for the song. They all come out of their place onto stage. Salman also enters the stage. The other contestants come out and start dancing. All mentors too start singing the song that Junaid sings.
Final Performance by all

Himesh says something to Salman in his ears softly. Then he starts waving his hands. So, does Salman in HR's ears.
The title song of partner starts getting played.. Do you want a partner is played - Salman sarcastically replies NO.. All are enjoying the song.. Himesh and Salman hold the same mike and start singing and shouting. It doesnot seem like they have a rift between them
Bappida says there is a movie of Lara Dutta in which all songs are sung by Mauli. Lara says - this is one show which has so much of talents.. May the best one win..

The show begins with Aditya singing Gaata rahe mera dil.. The stage has a cardboard tree and a car.. There are few participants like Joy, Poonam, Harpreet, Amanat who are holding that car and also singing along with Aditya.. Mauli, Nirupama and Sumedha enter the stage singing Jhumka gira re bareli ke bazaar mein.. As they leave and join the group holding the car, Abhijit and Raja enter from behind the tree singing zindagi ek safar hai suhana.. They all leave the stage after the performance..

Theme - 1960 and 1970's songs.. Guest - Hrithesh Deshmukh

Aditya announces that today is the elimination day and today's theme will be songs from 1960's and 1970's.. To support the contestants today on show we have Hritesh Deshmukh.. Aditya announces that he is a Cool Dude and a versatile actor.. He enters the stage and the title song of Cash is played in the background.. VS come on stage listening to this and start singing.. Even Hritesh sings few lines, but we hear only the original song.. Vishal says he will take this opportunity to introduce Hrithesh to this show and says this is a very cool show.. Hritesh replies that "He has been watching this show and last week he and his dad watched the show and enjoyed it.. This has great talent.. Wishes best of luck for the participants and says they all are looking great and wish he had got for him a great costume like them..

When Aditya asked him what his role is in Cash he said "I play the role of Lucky who is a thief and Mere fees mein jitne zeroes hain utne kamm sawal poochta hoon main".. The promo of cash is shown on screen..

Number of Votes - Aditya says that this week they have received 14lakh + votes..

The performance session with Aditya revealing the results of the Josh gharana:

Josh Gharana:

Before telling the votes, Ismailji asks Aditya - "In josh you have even worn sun glasses" to which he replies that he has Conjuctivities and Ismailji asks what is that he replies its eye flu and so Ismailji says even I can wear glasses and he wears a sun glass.. Aditya asks the audience to applaud for him..

The first to know the result is Barbie Doll Sumedha - Aditya says Salman khan praised her for the last week's performance and said she sang better than the original so lets see what public has for her - she gets a green

Mauli - Aditya says she was Trishanku last week but the judges said that "Mauli is Back" so lets see what public has voted.. She gets green

Abhijit - Aditya says - for the first time you were seen on form last week.. Lets see what Maharashtra ke gaurav gets today.. he gets yellow..

Bappida - Abhijit has a manly voice.. If public likes him, they will bring him..

Performance:

Sumedha - Raat akeli hain from Jewel Thief.. Awesome performance
A small AV is shown where she is practicing with her mobile phone..

Mauli - Parde mein rehne do from Shikari.. She also speaks in Gujarati while asking for votes.. She was good too..

Sumedha and Mauli are called on stage.. Sumedha says her mom, massi, cousin bro, fav uncle and aunty and her little friends have come here.. Aditya asks her mother how she is feeling.. She thanks SRGMP for providing such a huge platform for all the contestants.. She also adds that now Sumedha has got a good name and is also getting recognition.. Aditya says - "yes she has got the name Barbie doll" her mother replies - "it feels great when she is called so"

Even Mauli's family members have come and her uncle has come all the way from Texas to watch her.. He says he is so proud that Mauli is from his family..
Bappida also praises Mauli and sumedha for singing so well..

Yalgaar Gharana:

Aditya says - "lets see if Ismailji's chota parivaar, sukhi parivaar is sukhi or becomes more small" Anubhav Sinha the director of Cash enters the sets and says about Cash all i can say is - "If you watch cash, you will have fun and if you have fun, I will get cash" He also adds his mother watches this program without even missing a single episode and whenever he goes back home at this time, he will get to watch it on TV sets..

There is a break and after that Aditya says that family doctor of Ismailji has come to cheer his contestants..

Amanat tells a sher.. I couldnt note it down.. sorry for that.. Aditya says - "Amanat is considered to be one of the most versatile singer in this contest and he also gave very good performance last week and also asked for few tips from Salman" He gets green

Poonam - Aditya says she sang one of the toughest song of Ismailji and got applause from salman. Lets see if public gives her support.. She too gets green..

Performance:

Before comments Shekhar says that Anubhav Sinha has a very good knowledge over music and he brings music from all over the world.. The actual credit for their music should go to him..

Anubhav says Shekhar has given me huge responsibility.. he says to Amanat that Bhaav, Talafuz and Sur everything was very good and at right place and to Poonam he says he is also from small city and coming to bombay and singing in front of these people is in itself appreciable.. Hats off to you..

Hritesh says that his father is big fan of Amanat and so does he.. for Poonam he says "Small things come in big packages" He will vote for her..

ID - Now I understand the meaning of Hum do hamare do concept.. If before I had understood, i would have not had 5 children.. I am so happy with these two Poonam is becoming powerful and her pocket size is increasing its all because of your mother.. For Amanat he says only yesterday Bappida told him that there is a song in one of Bappida's movie by K.C.Bokaria where Amanat is singing a song.. Bappida says he is proud of this stage SRGMP for providing such huge talent

Anubhav sings, Joy sang with lot of emotion but there were few places where he added extra fittings that were not present in the song.. Otherwise he sang well.. Aneek being a Bengali, his diction was very good..

Hritesh says he is a big fan of Himesh and wishes him Belated Happy Birthday.. Himesh thanks him and says Anubhav is a very good director and has some good music dedicated in his name.. For Hritesh he says, the song featurized on Hritesh Jaane-be-ali actually changed Himesh to give new different types of songs..

Himesh says Aneek and Amanat sang very well today and Joy is a singer who sings "Bheegi Bheegi type of songs" for him to sing such different type of songs is difficult.. He did outstandingly well..

Vishal questions here about versatility again and says here we are to search for a talent who can sing all type of songs.. To this Anubhav comments saying if the singer is in safe zone then he can try any song but not one who is in danger zone.. Himesh agrees and says let them for now sing those which they are comfortable..

Mussarat gets green.. Himesh asks him to stick to his genre songs from next performance..

Abhijit also gets green.. Hritesh speaks in Marathi to Abhijit and i think he says you are not only a good singer, but also a good performer.. Bappida says he prayed to Siddhi Vinayak for him..

Group Performance, Guest and Initial chit chat

Today's show begins with Mauli, Poonam and Sumedha singing Kambakth Ishq hain jo and the guys join them a little later on stage.. They also dance and sing together.. Then guys take the center stage and girls go on side and they all sing Love ke liye kuch bhi karega title song.. Then Raja and Junaid come on stage and perform few dance steps.. Then guys and girls join together and sing chalta jaaye ishq musafir.. As they all sing and dance, Aditya and Fardeen Khan enter from the stage below.. Some special effects are also shown..

Aditya says Fardeen Khan has a lot of attachment with the Saregamapa show as he was the one to give the winning crown to the winner in C2005.. Fardeen Khan nodes his head and gives a message for the contestants.. He says they are lucky to get such a huge platform.. They all are talented and the gurus are also supporting them.. As all being talented and also have such a huge platform, they will do very well..

Aditya says Fardeen's new movie Darling is going to be released and the music release will be on this show today.. And this is the first time its happening on television show.. Regarding the movie Fardeen says this movie cannot be categorized as it has thrill, emotion, makes one cry and also laugh and also has great music.. Aditya also announces the music is given by Himesh in this film.. Himesh continues that he has only done one song and the rest is done by Pritham.. This is Gulshan Kumar's movie and Ramu the director has done a great job.. Fardeen sahab is outstanding..

Today's Theme - All are celebrating Friendship's Day today and so all the contestants will sing song which their best friend has suggested..

Rock Gharana Performance:

Before the performance, Aditya says Prashant chadda, the best friend of Himesh has a message for him and a clipping is shown.. He says Himesh is more than just a friend and he has given whatever I have asked for.. I asked for a music video, then a film and now i am asking him to get me married.. Ask him what he says for this request.. Himesh is too happy seeing the clipping and thanks for making his day with this message and says before getting him married, his sister Roopa is there and she is also my sister.. so, i have to first get her married and only then can get him married.. ID's best friend is Sanjay Leela Bansali.. He says how he met ID and how they became friend.. He says he saw him first time during recording of Khamoshi.. He was the one to carry violin on his shoulders and kept on smiling at me.. he said first he thought he was some mad person and then next day Kunal gave a call and said if you are looking for a MD, i can send someone.. Next day, ID came standing on his door.. Sanjay was shocked and then the journey of their friendship started.. he says our friendship will never break and you are one of the valuable friend.. Whether we fight or have any misunderstanding, we will definitely be good friends..

ID says Sanjay, Main aida hoon, pagal hoon but you are a farishta for me and an angel sent by god.. Our friendship will stay forever.. We will fight even now, but friend we will be always..

Amanat is the first to sing and Vishal says - even before you sing, we will give you a 10. you were in trishanku yesterday and we dont want you to stay there next time..

Amanat's friend is Suman.. They talk over phone and He requests him to sing Kabhi toh nazar milao title song..

She has also brought a gift for her and says this has all love from Lucknow... She requests Poonam to sing Mujhe rang de from Takshak

Shekhar's best friend is Sujoy Ghosh and they did many movies like Jhankaar Beats together.. Sujoy says Shekhar is a very good friend of his and that there was a movie called Brand Beauty where he had done acting also.. they met first in the movie called Kabristan and all Kabra were there near them when they first met.. He had to fall down and faint seeing a girl.. And that is one of the most memorable moment that he had with him.. Also adds that he is very sensible and easy going.. Shekhar laughs hard and says I will deal with him later.. Asks Aditya how they caught him.. Aditya says its all research team work..

Vishal's best friend name is Shiraz.. He says during a show of Pentagram the last performance was going on and a spot light was following Vishal but suddenly Vishal disappeared.. Then they found that he fell down from a six feet height stage.. He then came back with a back pain but completed the song.. He says Vishal may seem aggressive but he is very sweet and says whatever is there in his heart.. Vishal says what ever he is today, he owes all that to Shiraz.. He met Shekhar, his wife because of Shiraz and he is part of Pentagram too.. he also adds, he may compose music or not, he will defintiely be part of Pentagram

Performances:

Harpreet is not well and Raja comes and leaves him on stage giving him a support.. Aditya says Harpreet's close friend is Sunil Kumar the contestant of SRGMP C2007.. Sunil comes on stage and shares an incident.. While they were coming for auditions, they were travelling via train and there were few people who had harmonium and dholak and were singing and asking for money.. They asked 30 from Harpreet and Sunil, but they gave only 15.. They demanded more and Harpreet said you did not sing so much for you to get even 15.. They then said they will give 40 if he sings for them.. Harpreet took harmonium and Sunil got the dholak and they both started singing but they never got the money.. He requests public to vote for him and says consider him as a child and give him votes as he is not well.. Requests him to sing Channa ve ghar aaja ve..

VS after his performance, says once more.. Vishal takes the shall from ID and goes on stage.. They all start dancing and Vishal says that ID has gifted that shall to harpreet for this performance..

Today is elimination episode - Lets now quickly get on with the update

The show begin with all contestants singing yamma yamma.. All the conestants are dancing and singing along with Aditya.... Aneek and Mussrat are shown singing few specific lines and oher guys join them, then the girls also join the guys. Its a very good performance.. They are all having guitar and ganjira..

Aditya greets everyone and says one will be eliminated today and that this week they have received 17 lakh+ vote.. and he says they are very pleased with the votes..

The first gharana to know the result is - Yalgaar gharana:

Poonam and Amanat are called on stage..

ID - few gus called from Pakistan saying that Amanat is from Pakisan and not from Dubai.. ID said to them that - he brought him frm duai and that is why calling him as Dubai ke Mahabali.. So, he will be called Pakistan ke mahabali - Amanat.. ID also says, nor he is from Dubai, nor from Pakistan - he is from India..

Aditya asks him he was intrihnku at he feels today. he says, what ever the janata will give, he will accept it.. His last week performance is shown.. Then green light flashes for him in the signal lights..

Vishal - Personally i will feel very bad if anyone of you get eliminated.. The format is such that one day or the other some one has to get eliminated.. But today who ever will go, they will it will be a loss to thsi this contest..

Aneek's and Mussarat's last week performance is shown.. And lights are shown for Aneek and he gets Yellow light..

Himesh says Sometimes it happens that for who ever is in the top, the public thinks that some or the other will vote and so it coincidentally happens that the contestant comes in trishanku.. If he comes the 2nd time, then its different but I am sure that wouldn happen..

Himesh says for Joy that he attempted SPB songs but he should stick on to rock genre songs..

And Mussarat is the favorite for all and now its proved also..

Shekhar - when Aneek first gave the performance in this stage, we thought he must be in the recording studio and not here..

Performance:

Mussarat sings tere bin sannu from delhi heights.. He looses the track and forgets the lyrics in the middle and says sorry.. But the track is going on and he does not sings and just sings the finishing lines.. VS encourage him by clapping..

Himesh says - this contest is about voice quality, sur, singing and not about forgetting lyrics.. So, requests the public to forgive him for that and vote him as he is a very good singer..

Vishal - This screeching in voice and forgetting lyrics in the middle has happened for everyone.. But you must not stop and sing the previous paragraph as the show must go on..

Himesh asks Mussarat to sing the same song without track and he does so..

Joy says if he gets green light, then it wouldn be fair for SRGMP.. Aneek gets green light..

Aditya says - Joy has a wish for today and so before he leaves, his wish will be fulfilled here.. He will be given guitar and Aditya and Aneek will be there to support him..

He is given a guitar and he says there are lot of things he wants to say and that he wants to become a music director anyway..

After hearing this, Himesh says he has not sung for any MDs and he will sing for ARR but now he will sing for Joy the music director..

Joy plays his composition in guitar and sings meethi meethi yaadon ke yeh pal..Iits his own composition.. All the contestants are crying.. His journey is shown as an AV and he says all the votes from Assam will come for all these people.. He says he will definitely become a music director.. He breaks down while singing and Vishal says - he has shown the talents and he has all thier numbers and can ask for help whenever needed.. He also adds that there is some problem in Assam because of which he has not got the votes that was required which just now Bappida said to him..

Himesh adds saying - He is so unfortunate as his health was not in proper condition from day one.. But he never said it to anyone as with that he does not want to get votes.. Himesh wishes him luck.. It was so painful seeing him go !!

He also continues that its nice to see that all are supporting their country and wearing dress supporting the country.. Today is going to be elimination episode and one of them among the nine participants will get eliminated.. So, keep the fingers crossed and enjoy the ride..

Group Performance:

The show commences with Mauli, Sumedha and Poonam singing Aaj ki raat from Don.. They are standing among the crowd and singing.. The boys enter the stage and they too sing the same song.. The girls join the boys in the stage.. Aditya is there in the yellow room and there is a photo frame where there is a question mark.. That is who will be eliminated next? The nine participants faces are displayed one by one on the frame.. Harpreet is holding two cards - Congrats and Hard Work.. It coincides with the lyrics of the song - Aaaj ki raat hona hain kyaa..

Aditya says today the theme is dance numbers and calls the Josh gharana to know the results first..

Before the results were announced, Ismailji says - Let them first perform and then we can know the results.. Lets first enjoy them singing as because of the tension the performance is getting affected..

The episode commences with the same issue.. The repeat of the issue that was taken during last episode is shown.. The same dialogues are shown again.. Amanat sayin that they have forgotten that they are there in some other countries and Juunaid's statement.. And also saying that this is his family pointing to the contestants is shown.. HR - Did you throw the rose intentionally? No, it fell off the hand.. When you can love, then why dont you fear of telling out.. There is a big drama again regarding the same love story.. ID asks him to say - pyaar kiya toh darna kyaa.. Amanat says this and says - Jab pyaar hi nahin kiya toh kyun darna? Himesh asks him to tell out the love.. Today is friday and elimination episode.. One among the nine participants will be leaving the stage today and this performance will be the last performance of theirs.. So, keep your fingers crossed and get along the ride

Today's Theme - Romantic Songs Round

The show beings with Aditya and the contestants singing Salaam-e-ishq title song.. The stage is decorated with lots of haeart baloons.. In front of he globe there is a heart and every contestant comes from behind that heart.. First to come is Aditya,then follows Aneek, Amanat, Harpreet then all the contestants follow one by one.. They all are dancing and the stage is looking beautiful..

Aditya says today is faisla ka shukruvaar and before that these contestants will sing pyaar ishq and mohobbat ke songs..

This week we ave got 21+ lakh votes.. there is total of 42+lakh votes including the last week.. so, with this they will decide who will be out..

Format Change:

this week there will be no trishanku, no lights but there will be a globe of fortune where the faces of contestants will be shown and the globe will stop and show one face of a contestant who is through to the final 8..

The globe rotates and the first face to appear in the globe this week is - Poonam..

She is called on stage and she sings - Pyaar toh hona hi thaa title song.. Jaswinder Nirula song..

She is wearing a white skirt and red tops.. She appeals to the viewers for votes..

ID - I feel very good.. I want her to see her in number 1.. I request public to votes for Poonam, Amanat, and all the participants.. OPPlease vote from the heart..

Himesh - You could have done lot more better.. But you did justice to the song because this has been composed for a certain genre and that does not suit you.. But still you have done your best.. You did not copy and did it in your own original voice.. He says he wants to prove this and so he will sing two lines and show for the viewers to judge.. He then asks the producers to rewind and make the viewers listen to the same lines so as to prove that Mussarat has done a great job.. He appeals to the viewers to vote for Mussarat and requests them not to make this small family even more small just like Ismailji says..

Aditya says, Poonam and Amanat have already created a dhoom, but we have heard that you are arranging for a world's biggest gharba.. Ismailji asks him from where you got this news, Aditya says - this is all the work of the research team.. He says he is doing it in Surat and more because that is where his native is.. He says even the organizer has come and the organizer says - for the past 20 years we are doing gharba and this year Ismailji has joined us and we are very happy for it..

Himesh says all of them know that me and Ismailji are partners and from what Ismailji has told him about the gharba he knows that Its a great entertainment.. there is lot of innovative ideas that has been pooled into it.. He requests Amanat to take for the gharba.. Ismailji says he is going to take all the contestants sitting here for the gharba and its going to be world famous..

I am happy with this result.. He says - you all might be thinking, why I bring all these issues - but certain bondings have to be brought and only music talks - I cannot do.. Junaid had gone to his house and he gets a warm welcome there.. He cuts cake and celebrates the happiness.. His music teacher says, to perform in the final 12 is itself a big achievement.. His mother is also happy and his father says, let all the difference between India and Pakistan vanish and we all get together again.. Let all the Visa problems get solved.. Junaid says - I was first worried as to how I am going to get adjusted in India, but it was just like being in home..

Junaid sings woh pehli baar from pyaar mein kabhi kabhi..

Harpreet had also gone to his house and even before Raksha Bandhan - he tied rakhi from his sisters.. He goes to gurudwara..

His mother gets emotional and cries.. His sister ties rakhi for him.. He driives tracktor and also bike.. He is enjoying with his friends..

His mother is there among the audience.. She thanks Zee TV, mentors and public and everyone who have brought harpreet here..

Junaid is called on stage by Aditya and Vishal calls Raja too on stage.. He says, its very sad that one among you will be eliminated today and it is the format of the contest too.. So, cannot do anything for that.. Shekhar says - Junaid is having throat infection and when you have throat infection, I know how much it troubles and you will not be able to perform well.. But you are doing a great job.. He adds that Harpreet is improving a lot and giving brilliant performance..

Vishal says to Raja - Aneek is number 1, and being number 2 is more beneficial because you get the inspiration and you both have to maintain the standard of the stage by performing better than the other.. When there is competition, one tries to prove better than the other and this way the standard will rise and this way who ever sings well will become the winner..

Ismail interrupts and says - I can talk about the winner too.. Its not that only these two can be winners.. There are also others who can be winners.. why only these two.. I wish Raja, Aneek, Amanat and every contestant become the winner..

Vishal then says, he was talking about only the competition between Raja and Aneek because there is tough competition between them for votes.. Ismailji says, why only these two?? How come the competition can be between these two??

Bappida then tries to cool them down by saying Let the winner be decided public.. Ismailji says Only this public has made us (the mentors) a winner too..
Shekhar then gets up and thanks all the mentors for supporting all the contestants...

Junaid says I dont feel like crying, I dont know why.. I always cry for others, but dont know - I dont feel like crying today.. this is not the end for me, this is just the beginning.. i have learnt a lot from all the singers here.. Dont want to take the name.. But have learnt about Sur and I am able to identify my own mistakes and this learning will help me to become a good singer in the future..
Vishal says - i respect public's decision.. For the past few weeks your performance was not the best and harpreet's performance was improving.. So, this is the right decision taken by the public.. Its not that you are not a good singer.. You are a good singer and will shine..


Shekhar says from here, you are coming straight to the recording studio.. You are going to sing, compose and write the lyrics and that will be Junaid's album..

Yesterday was the elimination episode and Junaid got eliminated from this vishwayudh.. Now we have the top 8, who will be performing in this agnipariksha round to impress the viewers and get the maximum votes.. so, sit back and enjoy the update

Aditya and Sumedha are singing Churake dil mera.. Raja and Mauli singing Fanaa, Poonam joins them.. - fanaa fanaa, yeh dil hua fana.. Aneek and amanat singing hum dono hain alag alag.. Sumedha standing in between them.. Mussarat and Harpreet singing Hum hain seedhe saadhe Akshay.. Aditya asks everyone to welcome most beloved star of bollywood industry.. the most hot - Akshay Kumar.. He enters the stage with some kids.. Every kid says - Hey Baby.. Today is another elimination episode where one contestant will have to leave the contest.. Tension is on air everywhere.. So, sit back and relax yourself and enjoy the ride

All the contestants along with Aditya sing a song.. Never heard this song.. It says something like - Hey chori zara nachke dikha.. Aditya welcomes all the viewers.. Till now there were 2 challengers in each gharana but this time unfortunately one contestant from anyone of the gharana will be eliminated..

This time total votes - 22+ lakh votes..

Aditya says - with same love and affection and crores of votes, the viewers made one jodi as winner in previous year.. The journey of Ujjaini and Aishwarya - the winners of EMET..

Their album is getting relased today.. And it is getting released on the stage of Saregamapa

Ujjaini says I was there in challenge 05 till top 7 and I was in Himesh gharana - so lets rock.. This album is called - Ek main aur ek tu.. Aditya calls all he mentors on stage.. Bappida releases the CD.. Few songs from the album is shown in the AV.. Himesh says - It happens that sometimes because of the votes few singers get eliminated, but that doesnot mean that they are not good singers.. All those who will be eliminated, neednot worry.. Today is a very special episode where Lalooji is the guest..

Group Performance and stage set up:

Poonam is drawing water from well, Raja is lying down in the cot, Sumedha is sitting in the auto.. Sumedha is sitting with goat and feeding them.. Mauli carries a pot on her head.. Aditya is wearing a kurta and dhoti.. The set is looking just like a village.. There is pan ki dukan (pan shop).. the goat runs here ad there.. Raja then catches the goat and brings back.. They all are acting just like how people will be in village.. They all sing and dance - rind pushmar from mission kashmir..

Aditya announces that Lalooji is the guest.. A small AV is shown starting from how Lalooji brushes the teeth, his speech, many other things.. Atlast a cattle is also shown..

All contestants are exciting.. Aneek says I like his style and hair style.. Amanat says we have heard of him in Pakistan.. His style everything is good.. Mussarat says he wanted to meet him and today the dream is coming true.. Raja says he has always been his fan..

Aditya says each one of them have prepared today for welcoming Lalooji and they all are ready to ask questions to him..

All the contestants say in front of the camera what they are going to ask:

In between that Lalooji is show and he says I am so happy to be in the program.. They all are doing great job.. The talent is coming to notice because of the channel..

They show Lalooji starting from his house, and then getting into a private plane..

Aditya announces that today the essence of village can be seen here, but before that bringing the essence of Punjabi music is Daler Mehndi..

Daler Mehendi along with contestants (only guys) sing Rang De Basanti title song.. The contestants are giving only the chorus.. one thing to notice is that The contestants are changing their costume for every performance..

Aditya gets blessings from Daler.. He says, it was a very energetic performance and we get to see that rarely..

For the contestants Daler says Dont leave the riyaz and believe in god.. You all are very good singers and sing in Sur..

Mussarat Mussarat asks Daler what does he see as the future for saregamapa contestants and he answeres that whereever there are people who love music, for them - they have already become a star.. the door is already open, they need not struggle for anything..

Aditya asks Daler that there both Indian and Pakistani contestants here performing together.. How he feels - He says these days there is so much love between the countries and music has played a major part in it.. Happy that all these people are here together and performing..

Aditya says Lalooji is coming via plane which he calls uden khatola.. They show Him getting down from the plane and the mentors are also there to receive him.. He gets into the car and is travelling..

Daler along with the girl contestants is singing sade naal rahoge toh ash karoge..

Many songs together.. He is singing many Bappida songs.. Also sings dholi taro dhol baje, tunak tunak tun.. They all are singing all possible songs - maybe all songs that Daler knows, he is singing..

The The guys also join and everyone perform together.. They sing many songs together..

Aditya announces that the wait is over and Lalooji himself has reached the studio.. Finally (45 minutes of only group performance )

Lalooji enters the studio.. There is a red carpet welcome.. They shower flowers on him and there is fireworks.. There is band and police security and He enters the studio finally

Lalooji enters the set, Aditya puts a garland for him and welcomes him.. All the contestants get blessings from him..

Aditya says This is the first time Lalooji is attending any musical reality show..

Lalooji first addresses Subhashji (creative head for Zee), mentors, then contestants and says:

I am very happy to be here where they are showcasing talent.. In sports and also in music, it is important to showcase the talent.. My wife, and children watch this show and I know about Poonam's story - how she struggled to come up and those Pakistani contestants who have come from Pakistan to participate.. we can always maintain the relationship with help of entertainment and sports industry.. Only with help of Lok geeth and music we can always maintain that bond.. Once it happened that I had to go to Pakistan and my daughter asked me to be careful.. But these days that barrier is not there and people are not afraid and the relationship is strengthened..
He says about the cricket selection committee that he is also a part of Bihar selection committee and The best are always chosen..

He says only with music and sports we can maintain the Vasudev Kutumbakam ( the family that we call).. He addresses Mauli and says, she has come from USA, so here we all are like one single world.. Today is the elimination episode and among the top 7, one contestant will get eliminated.. So, lets hope for the best and you all enjoy this ride

The show begins with Mussarat and Raja carrying a briefcase into the stage.. The song golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai is played at the back and they both exchange something from the briefcase..

All the contestants along with the singer of Golmaal title song (Anoushka) sing the title song of Golmaal

Aneek is doing weight lifting and without his knowledge, Poonam lifts it in left hand and takes it away..

Aditya enters the stage and says, its usually me who opens the show, but this time its Anushka who is opening the show and its totally golmaal.. She has come to introduce the show - Fun On the run - a show that is going to commence on saturday.. There is a title song and Anushka sings the song..

Anushka leaves the stage.. Aditya announces that after golmaal its dhamaal on stage and the angrez zamane ke jailor is here with a new kaidhi..

Asrani and Aashish Chowdhary enter the sets.. Asrani delivers the sholay dialogue and at the end says Aadhe idhar jao, aadhae udhar jao, baaki sab bappi lahiri ke peeche jao..

Yesterday we saw the elimination of Mauli and along with it Bappida said he is quitting the show as Mauli is no more in the contest.. So, lets see whats in the sets today and what all drama take place with Bappida

The same scene where Bappida says that he is quitting is shown again.. he says you are a born star.. I will not come here next time.. I dont understand why Mauli is eliminated.. If Mauli is not there, the TRP will reduce.. I quit.. Bappida leave the stage.. Mauli says sumi needs you.. Bappida says - "That is always there, but I quit.."

Aditya announces that Bappida has come back after everyone persuaded and requested him.. He says that Mauli had gone to his house and requested him to return back.. So, Bappida is back.. He enters along with Mauli..

Bappida gives a speech for this.. He says - I didnt understand the SMS, I dont know why Mauli was voted out and was upset with it and so I quit the show.. But Mauli came to my house and pleaded to stay back.. So, I am back.. Mauli too wants to say something to you all..

Mauli - Bappida did not like my elimination, but as Sumi, Sumedha is there and shes is like my sister, I want bappida to be here.. She will sing well and I have full confidence on her and so to support her Bappida is here..

Bappida - My younger brothers (Other Mentors) are here and want to say that I love you all, I did not like the elimination and that is the reason I did not want to stay back..

The show commences with Aditya and the contestants singing Boli surat dil ke khote.. Guys and Aditya start it, later the girs also join.. The song is shown fully in black white.. The mentors are also enjoying the performance.. Bappida even gives a standing ovation.. All the mentors stand up and give them encouragement.. The contestants come down and get blessings from the mentors..

Aditya announces that today is elimination episode and says, viewers have voted this time based on their last week performances and an AV of all the contestants performances on friday and saturday is shown..

While speaking, Himesh interrupts him and says - you lost by giving better performance.. you sang better than Raja.. This is an injustice that because of the fan following.. Raja was given low marks than Mussarat.. So, its obvious that Raja must have been eliminated.. His point here is that vote based on that particular episode's performance and not based on the previous performances.. Himesh was saying - "Raja must also be feeling guilty because he is there and Mussarat got eliminated".. Vishal raised the point that Raja was not bad that day and that he need not be feeling guilty for this.. Himesh then continues that - "Raja is a good singer and good human being and in fact even I had asked the audience to vote for him but my point here is that Mussarat got more marks than Raja and he shouldnt have been eliminated".. Bappida brings the issue of Mauli saying she too got eliminated after getting all 10 from the judges.. So, is that fair? Himesh cuts him short that he doesnot want to bring this issue of Mauli here and that he feels Mussarat will make it to top and that Raja is good singer and must stay..

Vishal supports Mussarat and says, he will definitely make it to top..

Mussarat's journey is shown and he hugs all the mentors and contestants and thus, his journey comes to an end here..

The stage is fully decorated like a marriage hall.. There is a mandap and its all decorated with lights and flowers and its also written "Shubh Vivah".. There are two chairs were a girl and boy are sitting like bride and bridegroom.. Poonam and Amanat are on stage.. Poonam sings Aaj hai sagar from pyaar toh hona hi thaa.. Poonam leaves and Sumedha joins.. Amanat and Sumedha, both sing sajan ji ghar aaye from kuch kuch hota hain.. Aditya enters and Amanat leaves.. Poonam and Sumedha are on stage with Aditya.. They sing Chal pyaar hum tujhko uthakar le jaayenge from jab pyaar kisi se hota hain.. The stage is decorated like a shaadi ka mandap.. There is also a mandap arranged on the cornor of the stage.. There are many girls and boys dancing along with the participants.. Raja makes an entry in a horse like a bharat entering the mandap and le jaayenge le jaayenge song is played.. Aneek enters the stage and sings joote lelo paise lelo from hum aapke hain kaun.. They also sing balle balle from bride and prujidice together.. Aditya lifts Sumedha at the end of the song.. She then enters the stage like a dulhan and sits in the paalki and sings paalki mein hoke sawaar chali re from khalnaayak.. They all lift the paalki and leave the stage..

Aditya says, shaadi's celebration is more to come and a marriage without Dhlo is incomplete and so, dhol team is here..

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Bal Ganesh has come to release the CD and give a copy to the mentors and contestants.. Today is performance round and all contestants will be singing songs to impress the audience..

So, lets begin this musical journey..

Show begins with Bappida's journey.. The song he sang in shows, elimination of Mauli, Sumedha is shown.. Then it flashes - "We Miss You Bappida"..

The stage is shown and few dancers are already on stage.. Music begins and Amanat, Aneek, Raja sing "Aa Aa Aashiqui mein teri" from china town.. There are few dancers who are roaming on stage carrying the chineese dragon..
Poonam enters and sings "Mera man dole, mera tan dole".. As she leaves, Aditya starts dancing on the title track of Jab We Met.. Kareena is shown putting the make-up.. She then walks wearing her high heels and enters the stage.. Aditya greets her and says "Not only he but also all the boys out here must be happy"..

Kareena - I am more nervous being here.. The contestants must be tensed as they are waiting for the results and I am sure with all our support they will do well..

Aditya asks the mentors to say something here..

Vishal - Its a pleasure having you here.. Contestants must be happy seeing you.. Just wave them a HI..

Himesh - Kareena is number 1 actress in the industry and no one can deny that.. I have read the script of the new movie and I am sure, she will get an award..

Himesh - I agree with Vishal.. Audience please note that I agree with Vishal.. But again I would say, this wasnt the best.. Raja will get his fan sympathy votes, but he needs to improve a lot.. You are the best contestant of the no. 1 show, and you have to maintain that level.. gives 9

Pandit Jasraj is one of the guest for today and he gives a live performance today on stage It was definitely a treat to hear him.. Amanat was on harmonium.. The stage is decorated with candles and all contestants are sitting on the stage.. The mentors table and chairs have also changed and they are looking more professional and elegant.. After his performance, contestants and Aditya get blessings from him.. He then meets the mentors and they too get his blessings..

Jagjit Singh enters the stage and he too gives a live performance and sings sarakti jaaye rukh se nakhab ahistha.. What a treat

He says he is happy to be here and congratulates SRGMP for the success.. He also adds that he follows this show as there are good singers and says you all four are winners..

Shekhar - I feel lucky to be here.. I have learnt a lot for pandit jasraj and Jagjit Singh is just like our family member and I started my music from him.. I also follow him for many things and my voice also sometimes sounds like him.. Jagjit Singh says I know Shekhar from when he was in school or college.. (Shekhar says school) and used to visit his father.. Then he mentioned that Shekhar is interested in music and so made him to take proper riyaz fro Niyad Ahmed Khan sahab..

Vishal - Someone said we are good gurus but I feel we are not actual gurus and those two who are sitting there are the actual ones.. We will learn a lot today and the contestants will also learn

The show begins and clipping of Om Shanti Om is shown.. Then they show the stage where Vishal and Shekhar are singing the song Ajab si and then they sing oh haseena.. On the stage portrait of SRK and Deepika Padukone is kept.. Shreyas and Deepika enter the stage when they are performing.. All are enjoying.. ID is shown whistling for the song..

Aditya greets VS, shreyas, Deepika and invites Farah Khan on stage..

FK - We all love SRGMP, contestants and most importantly the judges and ofcourse Aditya.. Deepika has already been introduced by Himesh and she is a fabulous actress..

Himesh - Farah is here and she is the best director in the industry.. Shreyas is an outstanding actor.. Deepika is going to get all the awards and is to be the best actress in the industry.. SRK is already a King Khan and six pack..

Farah says, Himesh is number one in positive energy..

Asks all 3 contestants from where they are and whats their age.. To Amanat he says, his family also was there in Pakistan.. Amanat says he has visited that place and everyone in Pakistan loves him.. Wishes them luck for the future..

He gives a message for Aditya and says I know you from the time of Pardes and always call you as Off Beat singer.. You are doing a great job and making your parents proud.. He also wishes all the viewers luck

The title song of the Challenge 2007 is shown.. Aditya is standing in front of the stage where finals will be hosted (Andheri sports complex).. Preparation for the finals is going on and all are working to set the stage right..

Aditya says all the fans are routing for their favorite contestants.. Amanat fan, Raja fan, Aneek fan are praising them and say that they will definitely win..

Aditya announces that now they will be showing the first performance of all the three contestants..

Amanat's Mitwa, Raja's Allah Ke bande and Aneek's In Dino performance is shown.. Himesh's comment saying he is reminded of Vinit after seeing Aneek and also ID comments that Himesh has a bond with the cap..
