As the first DLF ODI is underway, I have a gut feeling that dropping Sehwag is really not a right decision and Dravid opening doesnt argue well in the long run.
With Sachin & Saurav (India's most successful openers) out of the team on diff. reasons, dropping Sehwag that too against Pakistan against whom he has some good outings doesnt sound a good decision. I agree that youngsters need to be given chances but asking Dravid to open I really cant understand team's think-tanks decision.
However the harakiri created by our batsman has nothing to do with this decision. I strongly feel when u have beaten a team well in the past and have them on the mat, we need to keep them there, by playing the best possible eleven.
