Munaf Patel seems to be better of the other 3 at this moment, has he has pace as well as good control. Though his ODI debut & the following match doesnt have anything to write about but he sure looks a very bright prospect for the near future.

Sreeshanth has performed with chances given, but he lacks control over his emotions and sometimes tries tricks too many. He will surely be tested against quality opponents on quality pitches.

RP Singh has taken wickets but at a very expensive run-rate. He will be suitable only on swinging conditons.

VRV Singh need to see him more.

Hi Tommcat!
While I agree with your comments on RP Singh and VRV Singh, I still feel Sreeshanth is a better bowler when it comes to One Day matches... I feel he bowls well in spells, that could well turn the course of the game; Which makes him a match winner!

Munaf no doubt is good, but I feel he would suit the test matches better. Also, I feel he has serious problems with his action. He exerts a lot of pressure on his shoulders which could make him prone to constant injuries in the long run! Don't you think so?

Hi Buzzbug,

You are right, Sreeshanth seems(surely) a better bowler at the ODIs, but I still feel Munaf yet hasnt got his share of ODI's on pitches abroad which are more seamer friendly unlike playing at home.

I felt Sreeshanth's drawback is that he startes off very well, but incase bastman at the other end starts playing well he tries too many variations rather than concentrating on his bowling, but recently he has been most succesful... hope he learns as he progresses along.

Regarding Munaf bowling style & injury, I did read somewhere that he had stints at MRF Academy & also he had been to the Australian Academy of Sport in Canberra to prevent injuries. But he does seems straining... Hope he stays fit & helps India to win the Test Series at the West Indies...
