Cause since the day you passed away,

As i lay down to die,

She lye awake in bed,
Thinking about everything her mother had said.
She had torn her heart apart,
And now she could only wish for a fresh new start.
She had buried the thing they once had,
And she winds up being so sad.
She wouldn't begin to try and explain.
Her mother has gone insane.
So how could she even understand?
she just keeps telling herself she knows she can't
She never learned to try.
So there she's left to cry and cry,
And now everyone finally sees why.

You'd pick me up when I would fall,

That horse and ride again.

Your constant care and loving,
And your warm inviting heart,
Has always been a treasure that
I knew would n'er depart.

If I could be "just half" the person
You have been to me ...
Then you have taught me well dear mom,

The little ones are fast asleep
I watch their chest go up and down
They sleep without a peep
Then I hear a crashing sound
You two are fighting again
I sneak down stairs but you don't see
Why can't your problems just mend!
Why can't you see your hurting me
You think that I don't know your fighting
You go around with fake smiles
I can see the sightings
Do you think your getting more miles
Out of faking!
All I hear are hateful words from you two
This is all your making!!
Can't you see your hurting me too

Is it because of me?
Did I do something wrong?
Why can't I make you see
I want you two to get along!
With every hateful word you say
I feel my life drain away
What happened to our family?
When did we stop living happily?
Your yelling is driving me insane
You think you guys are hurting?

Then I hear a tearful voice
Adey? Why are mommy and daddy fighting?
I look up to find my baby brother crying
My insides burn with anger
I rush to his side and tell them mommy and daddy are just talking loud?
Why? He asks
I say because there both deaf
And thats enough
to bring a smile on his face
I put him back to bed
And he falls a sleep fast
I lay in bed
Wondering how long this will last
Why can't they see?
They think their fighting is only affecting them
But I'm the one doing the lying

Your cutting me so deeply, that i just want to die
You two are so blind you only want to see,
What you want to see
You guys think your better than each other
And all you can do is boast!
But you don't care to see that your hurting me the most!

Mama, Mama, hurry!
Come see the things I see.
A mommy bird is caring for her babies in that tree.
And over there a bunny just hop, hop, hopped away.
Is he the Easter bunny who comes on Easter day?
Oh! Mama, Mama, hurry!
I think I saw a deer.
We have to be real quiet or he'll run when we get near.
I saw a fish swim in the brook, and heard a birdie sing.
Please, hurry, Mama, run, so I can show you everything!
Mama, out of all we've seen which one do you like best?
There must be one thing out there that you love above the rest.
My child, of all things seen today beneath the sky so blue,
my favorite one loved best of all, without a doubt, is YOU!

Our Fathers

Fathers protect their children from the wrong,
As a mother would sing a lullaby song.
It is a father's duty to protect their child,
To keep their children from running wild.
Though there are the fathers that neglect their role,
Only the finest are those who have a soul.
They pass their knowledge to the next generation,
With an unflinching dedication.
A son is the mirror image of their father,
If his heart is pure he will go even farther.
Past the rest and into the sky,
A father would say, I can finally die.
But past the finest are the pure,
Who would stay alive to see for sure . . .
That their son or daughter would make it in life,
With a piece of their father on the inside.
