I mean this in terms of attitude.
Firstly I would like to salute her for what she has achieved. She has been great.
But dont you feel she has a very wrong attitude (similarly to that of Ganguly) where she doesnt try to address her weakness and work on them instead giving out arrogant replies if anyone questions them. She could've indeed gone a long way, but now i feel she has lost all the fizz and might never become a great player from Asia, rather remain a gem in Indian Tennis.

I don't agree. I admire both Sania and Ganguly for speaking their mind. Honestly I think they are the only players in India to do so. How often have Indian players been accused of not being aggressive enough? Ganguly for one was instrumental in telling the rest not to take our team for granted. After all cricket stopped being a 'gentleman's game' ages ago.
Sania plays tennis in India. Now that can't be easy! She's had an incredible run and she's doing a rather good job of handling the pressure.
You need to be no-nonsense. Too bad that's seen as arrogance.

Hi pinknpurple,
I am not against Sania or Ganguly, but no one can argue they both have a very arrogant attitude. Arrogant attitude is good when u use that to propel u to the top of the league.
Ganguly was arrogant to correct his flaws and had long run of lack of form, now he finds himself deep in the dungeons as there are others to take up his place.
Sania, she is lucky she isnt playing team sport and India also doesnt have good pool of players in tennis, she doesnt try to address here short comings and keep losing in early stages of the tournaments if the not the first round she participates in. She needs to compose herself and try to use he arrogance for her betterment and not to wade of the media and her fans with her curt replies.

Hey Tommcat I Will Agree With Your Theory On Ganguly Being Arrogant But Sania Mirza Has Been Just Year And Half On The Circuit She Will Learn And Will Bring Fame To The Country.

I agree with pinknpurple!!! Both of them have attitude, but I wouldn't call them arrogant.
Firstly Ganguly, I think 'arrogance' and lack of form were just , in my opinion, flimsy excuses to rather unceremoniously get rid of him. The lack of form of some other players has been conveniently ignored and they've stayed on the team for longer than they've deserved. As for Ganguly, he was always rather clear on what he wanted, and that's a good characteristic to have!
Then Sania, this is my theory for why she's like she is :) Sania has got this far because of her talent and her resources alone. Now she needs help and she's doing well to market herself like she is. She's one smart girl, and you have to admit that! in the end, she's young, she'll learn, and hopefully she'll play as well as she carries herself.

i didnt think so that she will make to the top 50 of tennis ....she had few lucky mathes against top seeds and made it through.....so she is not able to play that level of tennis....
