After Agassi-samprass, Federer-roddick Its Now To Federer-nadal. Though Nadal Has Beaten Federer Most Consistently I Feel The Wins Have Not Come On Differnt Surface Rather On Clay In Which Rafael Nadal Is So Strong. Hence I Still Feel Federer Is A Better Player Than Nadal And Will Take Just Some Time To Sort Him Out.

Hi shrek! The Federer Nadal contest is definitely one of the most interesting in tennis today. Otherwise Federer would seem near invincible! Unfortunately, like you said, Nadal has been winning on clay. Their last match was closer than many others. Fererer has been working on his game. MAybe it will be a different story during the French Open.
You mentioned Federer-Roddick....I always found those contest let downs, cause so often when they met in the finals, Federer always won quite easily. Of course it was fun to hear Roddick's post match comments tho :)

Federer - Nadal combats have been very good, but Federer is a class apart. He has more control of emotions and the game when compared with Nadal. Nadal has just sheer strength.

Regarding Federer - Roddick, poor guy, he must be crying at home after each final loss to Federer "God, why it always has to me?" :D

we'd spoken about the federer-nadal battles on clay, but i think a lot of things have changed after Wimbledon. Nobody expected Nadal to even reach the final. It was incredible that he did. Not only that, but he also got Federer to lose a set! I'm sure that counts for a lot at the rate at which Federer is going on grass. Looks like their matches will get much closer now. Good for us!!!

thats true kk196, compared to last year both federer and nadal have done great work on surfaces that dont suit them. federer making to finals after finals on clay and how close he came each time in beating nadal showed the class federer was, but on grass no one ever did imagine nadal to come so far, indeed both are a class apart and hope we get to see really great stuff from these two in days to come.

Rafael Nadal is now a true champion. When he beat the great Roger Federer I feel great for Nadal. Nadal is now a young Spanish Champion.

well nice thread guys!
First i dnn think there is a competition between Federer/Nadal. coz i think this equation will be true if Federer/Murray. Coz Nadal is so young in this category & he will have to spent much time there.
I like Nadal but Tennis is not a game of one win or two...its need consistency in your performance to prove that you are true champion like samprass or Federer. I dnn think other players can repeat its performance, i like the way of play Andy Murray, superb guy but its improving.
There is no doubt Nadal is KING of clay court. Federer admits & he is working from 2007 finally gets in 2009 in french open. Nadal play with his power but Federer with his mind.
