 STAR TV, who is supposedly one of the biggest Indian channels is fooling people and keeping no dialogue with the audience and moreover taking up dictatorship attitude. All the programs it is showing are old telicasts, which were shown long back in India. No new shows are being shown in UK. Where is Antakshari, Voice of India, Nach Baliye etc. Because STar is now part of SKY , they don't have to woo the customers to subscribe star saperately and shell out £13-15 a month. So although they are telecasting Star in UK, They hardly care about it. Other Channels like Zee, Sony etc, bcoz they want subsriptions, they show their current hot programs but Star don't care.

It is more like Star Program managers are taking their salaries from other channels and causing star popularity to go low. This is written specially for Star officials ke shayad unko bhee thodi Akkal aaye. Another big example is Star Gold, which shows biggest faltu movie most of all times, hardly have any collection of movies and let go movies, they just have a collection of 8-10 songs which they show all the time. They have a bucket of 8-10 good movies and rest all rubbish movies of 90s and keep on repeating those. Even MATV shows better movies then Star. I directky ask Star this question that who they think they are fooling, Wakeup Star, This attitude is not doing any good for you but causing only harm. UK is a big asian market and if you won't show good programs on time on TV, anyways, most of us now have broadband and can download and watch what we want and you guys can F* sorry have fun in ur meeting rooms. Cheers.

I 101% totally agree with what you have written.
I am very dissapointed in Star TV UK.
We don't get Nach Baliye and the saregama program.
Soaps are well behind India, and no communication is given to us on any new progrems or whats going on.

I enjoyed star tv, but now its just going down hill.

i am new here but had to reply to ur thread as soon as i saw because i am feeling exactly the same that star uk is taking its viewers for granted and they dont even put that good serials on anymore and wen you wanna watch something there are always old serials on like hum saath aath hai which is really pathetic they haven't even put on nach baliye or star voice of india on yet.And when star mahoutsav and star azaadi express came on they didnt even put them on in the UK i really wanted to watch them.they are good for putting old rubbish serials on again and again why cant they put something better than hum saath aath hai like kkavyanjali or something i have been waiting ages for that to cum on i really wanna watch it but they never put anything good back on its just the same old rubbish!!!!

I also agree with you, I did put the complaint to channel through email but no reply at all, even the UK website has updates, what a shame, we pay more probably for our subscription and yet get no value for money. The drams i used to watch, are becoming boring and the scrip is being repeated in almost all Balaji dramas. Like New faces on screen, Balaji should give chance to new writers and come up with new good scripts. If not, why not just end the drama and start the new one. Its not worth paying for watching same stories in all drams. On the other hand its Sony and Zee, have various programmes and also, the channels telecast live show on the day itself as telecasted in India. Hence we get the latest and current programmes. Why should we pay for old programmes while we can get to watch latest on other channels. If Star does not change its Strategy towards International market, it will loose its position to Sony and Zee.

I agree completely, all we see now is people singing, dancing and acting stupid. No respectable shows, and some are not even suitable for family viewing anymore! Q: Where is Gandhi's India gone? A: Into the pockets of Bade Bhaiyya UK!
