Hi friends,
Today instead of my usual Business channels playing on TV in the background while I trade, I am watching the Big Match being played between the World XI and the Aussies. At the moment Aussies are 206 for 6 wkts after 40 overs. Looks like the World XI is too good for the Aussies at the moment.
But I hope it will be an interesting match.
Cheers!

Here is a quick update of scores. World XI is being given a very tough fight by the Aussies. World XI is down 4 wickets at the score of 79. Sehwag, Kallis, Lara, Dravid all fell cheaply. Only Sangakkara is keeping the fort. Let's see what Flintoff and Kevin Peiterson can do. It will be a tough match.
Cheers!:)

What promised to be a tight match in the morning became a totally one sided affair. The Aussies licked the World XI team thanks to some real shoddy batting by the World XI side. Man of the Match Shane Watson broke the back of the World XI batsmen. Hope the next two matches will be more competitive.

Hi Navin,
This game lacked the team spirit by the mighty paper lions ICC XI.. But atlast the team spirit and playing for thier own country won the game for aussies...
The ICC XI were busy playing for themselves like most of our indian playes does... I wondered what happened to flintoff and peterson the stars of ashes...even the duo failed except some grace batting from flintoff....
But it was the lankan tigers who fought till the end... Both sangakara and Murlitharan gave some respect to the ICC XI bowling and batting.. The Kiwi hero vettori also contributed..
I hope the ICC XI will realize thier potentials soon and make the series more competetive...

Hi all,
ICC XI starts thier innings with a explosive start from Veeru.. Veeru made 21 off 15 balls with 4 boundaries.
Then the duo of Gayle and Sangakara put a 98 run partnership for the second wicket. Gayle made a quickfire 54 of 48 balls ( 8 fours and 1 six ). The lankan scored his second half century of the series. At the end of 20 overs the ICC XI scored 151 for 3
Sangakar : 61 out on last ball of 20th over
Kallis : 10 no
This match is getting interesting and anything can happen.. The ICC XI still require 178 from 30 overs

Its all over for the ICC XI..
They have lost the match by 55 runs..
The good work by gayle sangakara flintoff could't be continued by the others.. and for the second time the indian duo failed and also brian lara.. there is something wrong with the team selection.
Aussies have won the inaugural icc super series..
They are the real world champions..

Hi there,
Yet another overwhelming defeat for the World XI heros! Adam Gilchrist makes all the difference. It seems that the Aussie fortunes are linked with the fortunes of Gilli. In England Gilli was out of form so England succeeded with some great heroics of Andy Flintoff, but now that Gilli has started massacering the bowlers again, the World XI have no answer. Will they be able to save some face in the next matches?
Cheers!
