the selectors decision to drop agakar for the tests is a very ill-timed move, that too when india is down in the dumps and all other fast bowlers struggling. agakar has been in the best groove in recent times and has been bowling well, his past record might be not that impressive, but based on current performance they must have had him in the team. the selectors have different yard stick to quantify the performance of different players, for the case of agakar present doesnt matter past matters, for ganguly its past doesnt matter present matters.

:) The selectors always are the greatest magicians, they always show you the famous hat trick, just when you expect to see the rabbit come out, out comes a poccupine

Anyone with proper cricket sense would not have dropped Agakar just when he was consistently performing well, I cant understand Powar kept back & Agakar dropped. Might this tour will make the selectors learn their mistakes on what needs to be done for the future.
