will sania make a comeback?

after her strong performance last year, much was expected this year from the jewel of indian tennis, but her performance is very low, unable to cross second round in any event. also she seems to have a knack of picking up injuries. seems like she over the hill. she might win few trophies in doubles, but making it into the top 10 singles or few single trophies will need to be fulfilled by someother indian.

The question to ask is was Sania's performance in the last year strong enough. She may have done more than any Indian has and won a second-tier tournament at home, but really did not do anything in the majors. When she played Sharapova, it must be noted that Sharapova was the favourite and also the younger of two. Being an "indian" sensation does not mean anything on the world stage.

Do not get me wrong, i am impressed by her achievements. But the world of tennis has known many a meteors who had achieved much more than Sania. Jelena Dokic, Alexandra Stevenson, Mariana Lucic. Sania should better get serious move out of india and she may achieve better things.

i think moving out of india will not solve the matter, even now she spends more time aboard and does even train there. the major fact is she is very prone to injuries and need to get strong. also the time is as such, training out & practise does not make champions, champions need a big heart to fight. as far i can see she has a big mouth :D

I heard that Sania beats top player Martina Hingis . That's Gr8 man . I hope that she will one day become world number 1 DESI tennis Player. UNless Gaura Saab did not use his usual cheating tactic. :D
