Betting game - Day 1

Hi all I am planning to have a betting game daily, I dunno how many of you will like to play this. On the end of the tournament lets calculate the points & see who wins.

The game goes like this each night there will be 2-3 matches and I will list out the matches and you need to tell what will be the match result win/loss/draw. The betting will close around 4pm IST the match day(check out below to understand). If you get the result correct you get 2 points. If you get the bonus question of the day right 5 points.

Day 1 (2 Matches)

Germany v Costa Rica
Poland v Ecuador

Bonus Question: No. of goals for the day?

This bet will close on 9th June 2006 at 4pm IST. And Day 2 bet will start then.
Hope this work, if anyone can think of any way of bettering this plz let me know. Hope everyone will co-operate...

I back Germany in the first match, considering they are the host country and tomorrow is the first day! I hope they dont disappoint the Germans!

As for the second match, its a tough call, the two countries have played against each other only once, and Poland won... I will back Polland!
