I hope its good.

But i find the character chosen for the role of Sai Baba to be alittle dull. It could have been better.

If someone has seen the serial on Sai Babab on Zee TV few years backk, that artist had played the character very well. Moreover, his looks were quite similar to Sai Baba. No doubt no one has seen the original, but he was more appealing.

This is just my view. Hope the serial is good. Just like Ramayana and Shri Krishna. (http://www.hitechnewstimes.com)

have u seen the film sai baba. the role of sai baba at the film was played by baa husband in ksbkbt, i guess he was superb for the role plus his experience playing the role as well

Hi All,

Ramanand Sagar is Back.. He is the person who tranformed the little idiot box into a temple. When Ramayana was telecasted, all over india everyone were glued to the idiot box. And the religious woman folk with the pallu on their head used to offer prayings every sunday by lighting agarbathi sticks in front of this idiot box. That days i was too young and loved the great indian epic. But when it was re-telecasted i used to get bored watching the episodes as i felt that sagarji pulled the episode string too long. The character are made to pose for a shot for too long ( eg. Rama's smile or expressions ). The same concept i observed in Sai Baba also. The introduction was bit lengthy, the second episode where Sai baba in his dyan mudra and the women folk requesting baba for food was shot too long. If this is the pace of the serial , Sagarji may require another 5 years to complete the story.

But StarPlus has done a great job by telecasting a serial on SAI BABA.

u r doubting the skill of people like ramanand sagar, for which i don't agree. everyone has its style and traditionally, successful man always works on his positive and what he is well- equipped with.

yes vipin i have seen the movie. Its really good. Co-incidently the same person has also played the same character in the Zee TV srial. I missed the first episodes of the serial on Star this week. How was it?

Pramod has written about it from which it seems a little boring!
