Do u think Beckam did the right thing by resigning ....... i meaning all such obstacles come in life but it doesnt mean tht one back's out from his responsibilities ...... it's sometimes just pure fate!!

Hi unaiza & phatgurl,

I too feel sorry for Beckham quitting but dont you feel it was actually the right thing he could do for now. Beckam is pretty old & will not last the next world cup. Giving time for the new coach to start under a new & young captain for the next euro-cup & then the worldcup will be the right direction for the England team. Also Beckam has quit captaincy not the playing for his country.
