This show has promising prospects.We get to watch all our fav PRC characters again and Rajat Tokas,the star attraction,in all his elements.:D What more could we ask for?? ;) ;)


Rajat's entry was as good as expected..but after his injury ,he shud go a bit easy on the stunt part....As far as the characters our concerned,vikrant is good and i also like Sakshi and Veer's mother ,Nivriti.

The sets have been aesthetically designed and sagars have beautifully experimented with colours.Though i feel that the costumes could have been better.I really dont like the cloak that Rajat wears with his dress.

Its my heartfelt desire that the signature PRC music should exclusively be used for Rajat.:D

The story is moving at a decent pace and im eagerly awaiting Mughda's entry, who i hope is only paired opposite Rajat.

All in all...DV has been able to meet upto the expectations.Kudos to Sagar Arts!!!!!!! and i hope that none of the PRC blunders are repeated with this show.Lets wait and watch!!!!

The show may be titled DharamVeer, but it's veer who is the messiah. Also, it's Rajat who is riding high on popularity right now(but I think Vikrant is good too) so they will want to use that.
The story isn't original, it's a clear lifting of the Moses vs Egyptians story from the Old Testament but I think the way they are projecting it to present fight for equality in a divided society is pretty relevant to current times.
Sets are good, I wish they spent as much on PRC.
Acting is good, though it feels a little weird to see Rajat and Harssh sharing screen-space and being hostile to each other. Time to move on- Bal Prithvi, Pundir...:(
It has started good. But many, most serials start good, then they lose their ways. So far, it has a good speed, but the test will come when it gets more sponsors and they will want to drag the show. Let's hope it does not go the routine way.

yes even i think vikrant should be given equal screen time as rajat...
but since rt is more popular they show him more smarter than vikran...
but vikrant is also acting good...

first of all, u all r welcum and ya well honestly Sagars r cashing on Rajat's popularity ..and Vikrant is good too...but i believe that when there is real talent,it wud eventually be noticed..just as Rajat's acting prowess was spotted by Sagars even when he was playing the role of Tatya....

and well Vikrant Massey wud have been clearly told that how much screen space he wud be getting..and No one forced him to take up the role at gun point..so when hes ok..i think we shudnt have a problem...well maybe i am a bit biased but im watching DV only because of Rajat...and Mughda.

But i wish both of them all the best..Let him prove himself and im sure hed get the lead roles soon..and I hope u remember that initially rajat too was just signed on for 3-4 episodes...and its because he was so good that his role was increased......and as compared to that i think Vikrant has got a bigger platform than Rajat..so pls dont cry yourself hoarse abt equality and stuff..its show business and crores at stake.....

This is purely my personal opinion and I hope im not hurting anyone....waise rajjy is just toooooooooo awesome in DV..its grt to have him back..:D :D :D :D

i m like ur friction ........ i m on ur way........ to stop u all from doing this ........ if i wish.................i can use any type of language ............. i m able to use all of it ............ it's just i don use it .........i work on my own ways..........

well dv is a good serial infact excellent direction vise only thing that they can make it more and more adventurous and thrilling for both the chracters means both dhram and veer should preform stunts not just veer.:)

n tu toh kuch bol hi mat , i knw u n ur rt make a gud pair but i cant shut my mouth so sorry agn if i hurt ur feeling ,so well well guys here i strt

1 the story doesnt excite me , i sometime have my gud nap in between n moreover y do i feel tht i've landed up in egypt instead of india , the entire feel is egypt , their is no originality in the story its copied of prophet musa n now i thnk they'll make it into mask of zorro wherein hero in mask is saving the ppl ...lolzz

2 the dressings r like as though they r in arab place coz u usually find such dressing outside n dnt u thnk sia is exposing a bit too much idar se cut to waha se cut wats ths????? n sias mom is wearing a morrocon dress ( believe me guys its very much in fashion here) lolzz , talk abt dress sagars really knw how 2 cut cost

3 dharam is brainless n as usual rt matlab der sara brains n power ..ok guys gud they r showing veer heroic bt y is dharam such a dumbo like n u knw wat guys i really dnt like rajat roaming around the palace n doin somethng whch doesnt suit him ( if they r showing his action scenes then i thnk its over done by showing matrix scenes like clinbing walls like spiderman n jumpng frm 1 pillar 2 anohter) cmon we can digest simple fights the way they showed in prc also , humme sachi mein koi super hero nahi chaiye normal hero wud also do

4 u knw guys the way they r showing abt making tht big moorti ,it jst reminds me of old egyptians wherein the ppl used 2 make those pharoahs wale big statues , have sagars forgotten tht they r in india n not in egypt

5 the sets r gud indeed but as ruchi told it shud be also shown in our prc as it was a real story of our king so some royalty shud be given there also n i dnt like the outside surroundng where everythng is yellow whch sometimes pokes ur eeyes tooo n gives a dull luk tooo

6 sia is ok bt her voice is screechy n her father is wrst jst like a circus clown god knws who made hima king

7 my mnain qs howcome maharaj aaryavardan doesnt knw wats happening in hhis kingdom whn they show tht frm his balcony he can see the whole city so cant he see how sharmiks r tortured 2 death 4get seeing but all ths yrs dint he ever come 2 knw wats happening in his kingdom

6 n last pt agni keeps tellng tht rajsabha knwes wats happening n keepng an eye on veer n dharam n everuythng so dnt they knw ki wat jai is doin ???

I already pointed out after seeing the first episode that they were being, ahem...inspired by the Moses story- the pharaoh had ordered the killing of all Israelites' babies but the princess found Moses floating in a basket in the river- see: Veer=Moses.
They have invented Dharam. The pharaoh's son is Agni.
Sia is cute, but too pink. Her dressing style doesn't go with the time-scale- I mean, she is Hindu and all, and ancient India, supposedly, but her dress looks pretty chik to me! And her father is a clown. Imagine a king prancing "Sia meri bachhi" in front of servants! (Ah, Someshwar was some king, miss him. There's no proper kingly king in DV.)

I already pointed out after seeing the first episode that they were being, ahem...inspired by the Moses story- the pharaoh had ordered the killing of all Israelites' babies but the princess found Moses floating in a basket in the river- see: Veer=Moses.
They have invented Dharam. The pharaoh's son is Agni.
Sia is cute, but too pink. Her dressing style doesn't go with the time-scale- I mean, she is Hindu and all, and ancient India, supposedly, but her dress looks pretty chik to me! And her father is a clown. Imagine a king prancing "Sia meri bachhi" in front of servants! (Ah, Someshwar was some king, miss him. There's no proper kingly king in DV.)

1 guys did u notice the way mugdha comes out of water 2 stop tasha , the boat is actually in the stop mode n tasha is jst tryng 2 shake his hands showing tht hez rowing the boat , ok watever bt if u guys see tht scene carefully it has been shot in a veryfunny way lollzz

2 n moreover whn i luk at the boat it jst makes me feel ki dnt u guys thnk thts a modern day wala boat,in which century r they living??yaar in prc they used 2 show a raft,atleast tat made sense!!!

Mughda needs to cover up her backside ..literally!!!!!!!! ..and kia yaar???????? this powerpuff girl act doesnt suit her one bit and when she is practising with her sword,she looks like Traffic Police rather than a daku!!!! :p she seems to focus more on the alignment of her hands rather than on the movement of the sword....these sagars shud take a look at the Lara Croft and Charlie's Angels series if they r so desperate to portray Mugz as a chivalrous Amazonian Woman!!!:rolleyes: and Her costume would definately hot up the things with all the men oogling are her bare back ;) .......she shud surely approach Rajat and take some a lesson or two in sword fighting....it wud be interesting to see them locked in Mortal combat, literally!!!!

ur 100 per ryt suu coz rt in ths luks like a kid n mugdha luks very matured compared 2 him in ths due 2 her serious act n moreover our rt is overdoin comedy act coz as far as i knw enacting comedy is a very tough job n only very talented n experienced ppl can do it , n thts where our rt is failng hez overactng scenes n talk abt mugdha she resembles a vamp u can say more like mallika sherawat wid such vulgar dressing ( no offense 2 fans bt thts wat shez made 2 luk like) i really dnt like the story n pace of dv ,its very boring n seems like loads of characters r jst fited into it widout much reason... very crowded n boring story...

DharamVeer started off on a good note but things seems to be going on a downward spiral-bekar direction,vulgar costumes,non-sensical storyline and useless events thrown in to act as fillers in the story.Wud someone be kind enough to explain wats going on anyway? :rolleyes:

Mughda Chapekar seems to be more interested in skin show with her bareback and her plunging necklines.I feel that if she puts in a good performance,that would be more than enough and she neednt show off her other "assets". :rolleyes:

The chemistry between Rajat and Mughda doesnt seem to be taking off.The age gap seems quite apparent here...and Mughda isnt cut out for this Mrs.Smith kind of role..her features,her body structure and her body language is extremely feminine and delicate.I dont mean to sound sexist to say that she shud just stick to girly roles....but this daku look just doesnt suit her.and Rajat...wats gotten into him??? Comedy is ok but he seems to be overdoing it and now it looks as if hes overacting.Even his performance is below my expectations.

The dark horse of DharamVeer surely is Vikrant Massey with his subtle performance.His dialogue delivery is immaculate and his is an all round performance.

DV appears to be more of Arabin Nights with the Arabic costumes.The day when mughda was dressed in that blue dress,all that was needed was a jeenie and the magic lamp to complete the picture...i almost felt that he wud appear and ask Veer.."Hukum mere aaka":p .Why dont these Sagars at least show some sense? What are they trying to depict? Rajat and Mughda as Aladdin and Jasmine?If they wanted it that way they shud have casted them in Aladdin instead of DV.Strangely DV reminds me of Alif Laila....Have they forgotten that India at that period was predominantly a Hindu state and agreed that the makers have their creative license but that should be kept within the realms of reality.

The track of Rajkumari Sia is the most pathetic.All in all DharamVeer is grossly falling short of expectations.Well RT and MC can be given some time as their track has just started.and Rajat is back after an injury.Lets give them the benefit of doubt.Hope things are back on track soon and Mughda is given some decent costumes.

u r rite bt then their luv story has barely started so we have to wait a bit i dunno why bt i am nt able to agree to ppl who r sayin Rt is overacting in the first few epis yes bt now i find him good besides i feel he shud keep tryin comedy only then will he learn or else he will hav to stick to the angry young man image forever bt u no sumthin very few action heroes(barring Dhrarmendra) can do comedy !But i feel they shud giv him intense romantic scenes dat is wt he does best If SRK can survive for such a long time doin the same thing even rajat can stick to doin wt he is best at-action and romance lets wait and c:)

few days back they had showna wierd n pathetic dance by those 3 grls 2 entertain dharam veer n letme tell u wat they were doin was close 2 a lebanese dance coz 2 my knowledge tht step whc they had done sittng n gettng up was a famous step of lebenon n nt bharatnatyam or khatak whch was suppose 2 exist in india during tht time

all in all wrst creative sense by sagars , if they r showing past or old india they shud defi stick 2 indian culture , stye n dresing sense rather than copyng western culture

exposure seems 2 have been done widout any limits , asthough ndtv imagine ppl have given them lisence 2 go ahead till any heights

bottomline : rt seems 2 overact , mugdha is too girlish by her style of walkng n emotng n by applyng nail polish n makeup 2 be like shera n moreover shez bzy exposng n copyng mallika sherawat , dharam gud , sia is ok , dharams dad is useless as king , jaivardan n agni dont seem 2 do anythng apart frm beatng n killng everyone wid a hunter , veers both mom knw nothng other than cryng ( they r doin mugdhas job of cryng whch she used 2 doas sanyo in prc) , bhimsen n his yojna never seem 2 come 2 execution , sakshi has jst 1 qs 4 her mom ie abt veer whn will he come 2 knw the truth , sias parents r useless in 1 dress , aur kaun rehgaya , phew!!!!!!! i thnk i've told abt evevryone in 1 go so the conclusion is serial is pathetic wid nothn happening or can i say is somethng happening???????

the music of dv is very faaltu , no fixed one at all , u knw sias music is being used almost in all serials noww n moreover all the dv musics r nt at all touchng

Arre madss im here only yaar!!!..tujhe chod ke kahaan jaogi???? Was just busy with studies as exams are just around the corner.I am also enjoying DV as the story has picked up pace and the episodes no longer drag and are full of action,drama and suspense.

The costumes are also good..Thank God Mughda has been given a different costume,even though its of Pandit Parmanand Maharaj ..Lol!!!! I really loved Mughda’s acting as the pandit....last week’s contests b/w the princes were also good with some great action, and the PRC feel of valour was back.So it kind of refreshed the memory.:)
Even Sia is behaving nicely and with a demure expression,she does look beautiful.I especially liked Rajat’s purple dress,it really suits him.One thing that I have noticed is that Star Plus has drastically cut down Rajat’s flashback scenes in PRC.....perhaps the Star Plus ppl are so insecure abt their viewership, that they don’t want Sagars to use PRC as a surrogate bandwagon for DV marketing.

Wat else?? The king has ultimately spoken cause they way he used to move around felt that he was dumb.Nivriti acts well but her over-possessiveness abt her Veer can be a bit unnerving at times.Jaivardhan as a villain is evil incarnate but Agni simply seems to be a puppet in his father’s hands.The fight shud be among equals so Agni must be given more brains..Lol ..I hope the creative team keeps up the goodwork and the story doesn’t slacken in pace....some more twists,turns and suspense wud surely boost up the TRPs.and i fervently hope that Mughda doesn’t crawl back in that yucky red dress.

anyways dharam n veer very gud infact excellent whn it comes 2 actng finally veer has stopped over acting, wonder wats wid rajat hez luking very much younger 2 our darling prc we used 2 see ( kya baat hai log time ke saath bade hote hai aur apna rajat is lukng younger wid short hairs ):D

my qs is whn r we gonna see our shera turning positive coz im tired of her vamp acts n moreover im dieing 2 see some gud chem between rt n mugdha than ths boring stuff goin on ( i dint see todays epi have yet 2 comment on todays though)

todays epiisode was good but i found a very stupid thng in dat .........veer is struglling like anything to escape frm prison reach dharam and den help him escape but the old man who heard veer saying abt dharam suddenly went to jaiwardhan and told everything to him...............i mean how is dis possible ki a prisoner can go out so easily and come back dat too and old prisoner who must be very weak and all this was act worth thinking...lol........hahaha is it that sagars r trying to show dat even prisoners had priviledges dat time like aryavrats and shramiks heheheh ..lol.......think abt it............. :D :D

15.4.08 must go down in DharamVeer's history as an episode that just rocked.Firstly,Nivriti played the good and ideal mommy inspiring sonny dearest 2 save Big B+Best Friend.and Lo and Behold,Veer Metamorphosises into qayammat itself,destroying watever came in way.Agreed that it all was hackneyed and filmy but the episode was extremely well directed and gripping...not for a moment did d pace slacken and my eyes were glued 2 d T.V screen and it was nail biting suspense.....ekdum Mast...cricket match jaisa suspense...:D

Im all praise for Nivriti's acting....she was really good and the best scene was Veer giving a kick to the stupid sabha leader..that was whoa!!!!!!!!!!! Atta boy Veer...well done....start se end tak ekdum mast....absolutely rockinggggggggggggg -splendiferous.....and rajat ke baare m kia kahoon??????? hes d best ....and hey..wasnt Dharam wearing the same Kurta that Rajat wore when Prithvi's father died..???????????? dont tell m unhone usse bhi recycle ker diya!!!!!!!!:eek: but it was d same Kurta..hope it was a new one...and Dharam too was equally good.Maaza aa gaya.....

Million Dollar performance by Rajat I've no words to express *speechless*

When he kicks the Rajyasabha and do talwar baazi with Maharaj I was totallly blown away by it Tears came into my eyes, seeing so much love for Dharam And he takes Dharam away from Phaasi ka takhta I just now admire Veer for it

I think tihs is the best episode of DV since this show has started

Rajat - Million Dollar Performance Excellent expressions

Vikrant - Heart Breaking expressions beautiful dialogues and excellent performance

The show may be titled DharamVeer, but it's veer who is the messiah. Also, it's Rajat who is riding high on popularity right now(but I think Vikrant is good too) so they will want to use that.
The story isn't original, it's a clear lifting of the Moses vs Egyptians story from the Old Testament but I think the way they are projecting it to present fight for equality in a divided society is pretty relevant to current times.
Sets are good, I wish they spent as much on PRC.
Acting is good, though it feels a little weird to see Rajat and Harssh sharing screen-space and being hostile to each other. Time to move on- Bal Prithvi, Pundir...:(
It has started good. But many, most serials start good, then they lose their ways. So far, it has a good speed, but the test will come when it gets more sponsors and they will want to drag the show. Let's hope it does not go the routine way.

first of all, u all r welcum and ya well honestly Sagars r cashing on Rajat's popularity ..and Vikrant is good too...but i believe that when there is real talent,it wud eventually be noticed..just as Rajat's acting prowess was spotted by Sagars even when he was playing the role of Tatya....

and well Vikrant Massey wud have been clearly told that how much screen space he wud be getting..and No one forced him to take up the role at gun point..so when hes ok..i think we shudnt have a problem...well maybe i am a bit biased but im watching DV only because of Rajat...and Mughda.

But i wish both of them all the best..Let him prove himself and im sure hed get the lead roles soon..and I hope u remember that initially rajat too was just signed on for 3-4 episodes...and its because he was so good that his role was increased......and as compared to that i think Vikrant has got a bigger platform than Rajat..so pls dont cry yourself hoarse abt equality and stuff..its show business and crores at stake.....

hmm.....DharamVeer is going high on the glam quotient.....both Dharam and Veer are oozing a lot of oomph.......with theit stunts,diving in water...and action scenes coupled with the rock star music being played in the background.....chalo its better than that Mission impossible music and better than the jaan-e-man music being used in PRC....hmmmm story bhi theek hai....

The fatty man was funny...the way he was laughing...hehe ha ha ho ho...Lol thats was reaally funny.....and that part where shera shows her kalabazi reminds me of Sholay with motu being Gabbar and DharamVeer being JaiViru....sahi hai,accha hai...:D imagine Veer saying Basabti...oops Champa in kutton ke samne maat nachna(aapni kalabazi maat dikhana) :p

hmmm...critics thread mein koi likhta nahi hai...thats too bad people...:mad:
A big applause for the creative team as they maintained the tempo and kept the story moving at a good pace.Though i feel Agni's gayab hone ka plot was a weak one,but the incidents were built around it to reach a good climax.They episode when agni is caught was a good one....with some nice action scenes thrown in.

The best part is that Rajat and Mughda's chemistry seems to be building up.It was a good inversion of the tropes,when shera offers her hand to help veer get on his feet....and was veer saving mughda for the gundas or were they doing salsa?;) ..during that scene,i really wanted to marofy seetis:p it made the episode quite enjoyable and such scenes create a sense of nostalgia abt the golden PRC days....

I liked the dialogues Veer spoke abt Kingship and the duty of a king....cud be related to contemporary politics...Nivriti,i feel is the best among all the aryavrats and i really appreciate her performance.Dharam's performance is commendable,but he shud work a bit more upon his action scenes.....The costumes of DV are good and hopefully Shera wud get a change of wardrobe when the gang proceeds to the rajyavidya ashram.The dialogues are good,action scenes are well shot,just Mughda's costumes need to be looked into.Chaska Meter for this week is excellent :D

DharamVeer has been ok this week,with the story changing track......hopefully Mughda wud get some decent clothes as she wudnt get admission in d academy with dat sort of costume :D ..Mrs Smith goes 2 d dance skool....im just dying 2 see her in those beautiful lehngas and jewellery......ahhhh those PRC days....

Veer's character is interesting.He wants to live in the 'carnivalesque' realm that is ungoverned by rules,the semiotic stage....thats nice....completely rejecting the rules and transgressing the boundaries...the ultimate Brat!!!

this gurukul track seems a bit boring and reminds me of the PRC track whn young prithvi goes 2 the gurukul to overcome the trauma after someshwar's death.Rajat should take more care of his skin...he looks quite untidy sometimes:o ...waise poor rajat..wat can he do?shooting in such heat must be back-breaking work...as yeats has said...everything worthwhile is difficult to achieve in this world,whether its success,beauty or love.

4) one more thng i noticed was y the hell in tht guru ji always behing dharam n veer , i mean 4 any exam or anythng he wud jst catch hold of them , cant he find other students tooo??? he has made ths team also agn under dharam n veer as heads , y like tht?? is he told by sagars tht they r heroes so treat them like tht???:cool:

5) can anyone tellme where is sia??? is she going 2 even come back 4m her holidays??? im 110 per sure whn sia n her family makes a comeback na it will be agn in tht faaltu recycled dress they used 2 wear , sia in blue or white , dad in tht purple , ranima in golden....watelse can we expect 4m them??:eek:

Mads.....i agree with u....and hey Dharam and Veer arent Gay....u make it sound like that .and Wats with Rajat??? wat dole shole and 6 pack abs....??? frm whr did that ultra hot body spring up... ..at a first glance i thought he was wearing a body suit...is he taking steroids??? ....cause he was roly -poly and now suddenly....metamorphosis.....anyways...the story is ekdum repetitive and DV shud be titled Deja VU PRC....the creative team has to work really hard on the story cause it seems to be extremely boring and it creeps at snail's pace.

After watching yesterday's episode, i was Happy to see RT-Mugz chemistry....as the story progresses,the chemistry is building up b/w them..the performances are good and if its backed by a damdar storyline,DharamVeer has the potential to become a hit serial.

yaah thats true shera used to do the same thing before but now as she is staying more with veer and being in love with him she is becoming good from heart and for dis she is herself confused .......

DharamVeer as a show started off well but it has lost its momentum and the story has gone god noes where....everything is so repetitive......first we had shakal,then raka and yesterday that new gunda ..wats his name? my tv was on mute so cudnt hear wat was being said.....anyways...the story just revolves around how dharam lands in trouble and Veer has to jump to his rescue....he remembers wat his mother had told him and he gets all charged up to save dharam.....i mean wat is this????????...They r trying to cash on Rajat and Mughda's popularity and poor Dharam is being sidelined....all he is apparently doing is rolling up his eyes and falling faint on d floor :rolleyes: ...i mean is he a baby who needs nanny veer to babysit him everytime???

and why does Veer have to play d good samaritan all d time?? he shud be a bit selfish too.....his character is too good to be true....but what im happy about is the chemistry between rajat and mughda....its no longer that childish romance but a relation b/w 2 ppl in their late teens....but the creative team is not doing justice to their acting prowess.....Rajat is an amazingly gifted actor but he needs a good script and brilliant direction to perform to the best of his abilities.I hope the production house wud do justice and not waste his talent with such a faltu script...btw...ramjaane kahaaan gaya?? sher kha gaya usko??..im just watching DV for rajjy and mugz....but dnt noe till when i can tolerate dat faltu script and boring storyline.:rolleyes:

They shud also stop putting poor rajat on display in his shirtless avatar.....its good if hes working out but i think hes too young to acquite a sex symbol status.

Poor Dharam gets paralysis with few punches and Veer is able to walk and run even after getting stabbed....on the other hand sanyo rani in prc doesnt die even after being bitten by cobra..must say,protagonists in sagars ke serial have superhuman strength....just imagine (with thunder and lightning flashing) and Veer (with his newly acquired abs) shouting HE-MAN!!..I HAVE THE POWER OF THE UNIVERSE :p :p .


The chemistry between veer and shera is absolutely sizzling and i found this to be d highlight of this week's DharamVeer.Chaska meter is 6./10.:D

3. ALSO,I THINK DHARAM DOES NOT VALUE VEER AS MUCH HE IS WORTH.
HE TRYS TO DO SUMTHING ALONE, FALLS IN TROUBLE & VEER - HIS MESIHAH
ALWAYS HELPS HIM OUT.

dnt tke it to heart i didnt check ur link bt i will do wen free, the idea of the critics thread is 2 cme n critizice if smethg is not rite lke the story,costumes,acts,recycles,likes,dislikes,n nothn personal yaar!!opening diff threads is useless cos i feel all of thm bundle in 1 place is less messy n memebrs can cme n comment n read othrs views n agree 2 it or disagree!its not smethg bad. every coin has 2 sides...heard of it!if an actor is not performing orif the story is goin smewhere or if tis weeks episodes were not gud thy can rite wat thy feel shud hve been or it vas not upto the mark,im sorry i dnt agree here every1 is entitled 2 her views n opinion,if its gud thn its gud,if its bad thn its bad! n im not sayg dv is not gud, i 2 lke the show n i watch it regularly.In my previous post i did mention sme gud points abt the veer n shera chemistry,abt dharams act n so much...im not offending any1 neuthr comparing prc n dv, each of thm gud in their rite!
