saurav is back with a bang after scoring run a ball century against north zone in irani trophy against bowling attack of bhandari, rv singh and kuldeep singh, fastest bowlers going around in the country.

Saurav is a great player, I fully support him, but that was until he came out in open 'about the 'coach asking him to step down'.

He was a class captain and the one who took India to a new level, he supported youth & India was just great under him, but doing something like that really hurt his credentials amony many die hard fan of his.

I am sure he will comeback, and do well in this series & further more be the Captain for just the Test Series against the Lankans.

Hope we get to see India win, not individuals whine.

its not about individual mate, fact is that dada is much better captain than dravid and that everyone will say when india loose the odi series with lanka that despite winning first match handsomely

I agree on that Vipin, Dravid is not even 10% as good as Ganguly in decision making....

But no issues about Dravid as a player and a gentle man, he is a class apart when it comes to comparing with Ganguly...

The thing I hate the most of Ganguly is that being a captain he hasnt worked out the short ball in so many years and also he is so poor in fielding & running between the wickets, what example will this be to an youngster...

I really feel that at one stage the team will mature to who knows what to do, even if we ball first or second, the batsman will go & do just their job & the bowlers will do theirs & the fielders will compliment with bonus, and that time the captain will not have much role to play just that he stays there and sets example not only by the playing a great innings, but a great character on & off the field, showing commitment & determination, being very well disciplined, etc etc... but that particular captain will be a Rahul Dravid & never a Ganguly...

Its not that I hate Ganguly, its just that Ganguly has already used up his eight lifes as a captain just one more is left.
