srilanka - team to bet in ct 2006?

srilanka ever since the drubbing they had against india and new zealand have been going from strength to strength and now look like world beaters. will they be the team to beat in the champions trophy to be held in india during october to november later this year?

due to the poor ranking during the start of the year they will have to play qualifiers before entering the league stage of the competiton, which intun will be a boon to make them acclimatized to indian conditions and further more they have been playing a s a performing unit lately in all departments and make any team run for their money on their day. though the aussies/indians will be the favorites to win, i still feel sri lankans will go all the way.

Srilankans have been going strong and a good team, but I am sure all the teams around are playing well.

I will fancy England to do well, as they have the best players around, but sadly most of the are in injuries when the team needs them, but a full fit English team will be hard to beat on good cricketing conditions than any other.

Surely my heart is for India :)
