"It seems success is getting to Rajat Tokas's head. This junior Prithviraj Chauhan and now Veer of NDTV Imagine’s ‘Dharam Veer’ is talking as if he has become a very established star. “Who else has got the best actor award at the age of 16?”, he asks?
Rajat says that he is very lucky to have got two completely different roles. "While Prithvi went by the book, Veer is ready to cut corners as long as the end purpose is served", states the actor. Darsheel is far too successful than this Rajat. He shows his attitude when his rights is in question(he asked to be nominated in (Adult) Best Actor category as in the West Children too can be nominated for the same category)
While talking to the media, he is so sweet and coy and innocent.

He got more sucess that too in one attempt.

Rajat is considering roles from Bollywood. If the all so famous Amar Upadhayay(Mihir, Sas bhi kabhi: so famous that his death scene sparked so much anger from the audience than Balaji had to reinstate him) had left TV and his promising TV career to do flop after flop in TV(in few chances he got).

Look, everyone can't be Shahrukh Khan or Ranvir Shorey.They are the real exports from TV to bollywood.

Had i been the journalist taking this interview: i would have answered this spoilt brat right at his face.

yea i agree.. im not saying rajat hasnt said all these things, but you must never forget the way media twists statements.. n this i can say with full guarantee becoz i myself i have faced this.. n even though im just a normal human being, not even famous like rajat n other stars, the way the media reporters twisted my statements n printed them in the newspapers was shocking... n this has happend not once, but twice with me.. my interview had cum in times of india in 2005.. n once in DNA news paper too... what i had said n what was printed had very little similarity... trust me im not joking... i was the head girl in my school n they had asked me various questions about school life and my duties as head girl.... the printed interview almost painted me to be an irresponsible person... conveniently changing certain sentences... believe me, im serious.... so u never know what rajat had actually said n how they conveniently twisted his words... plz donot jump to conclusions unless you know the person personally... im saying this becoz it wud be indeed very sad if a talented young boy like rajat loses his fan following just becoz of some interviews about him, which may not even be 100% true to his word... do think about what i said.... :)

he is a young boy and acting on television gave him so much fame so suddenly...he suddenly started being loved by so many television viewers, he suddenly started catching the attention of many girls of all ages .... so ofcourse he will get a bit of an attitude ... it's not a good thing ... but it is normal ... ye toh hona hi tha ... :rolleyes: ..

we in our class start taking pride if we fetch good marks. but when RT says,"would you be talking to me if i were not successful?"-we take offense! it is not only for celebs to search their inner self but we also should look in to see why we expect all celebs to bow down always and credit US for their success all the time as if we were the king-makers. in fact that kind of act is a put-on nicety which only a matured person can do.
and yes Rt is no SRK that media will conspire against but a twisted news creates controversy and sells not only itself but a chain of news attached to it .this keeps media thriving. anything that puts the controversies to rest is less prized by media than anything that creates controversy. this is why this kind of report.
i appreciate rajat and derive inspiration. darsheel is great but the gigantic force of amir was behind him. darsheel is amir in proxy.rajat had the fortune of playing larger than life image of prithviraj chauhan with so much force that we awakened to a historical hero forgotten by us. direction was also very good the title track was grand, costumes, makeup everything together got got into a very fortunate mix. such things happen only once in while.
by saying all this i don't mean to hurt anyone. i only want to say that appreciation should not only take the form of a fan who thinks that the idol is worthy of worship. idol also has human emotions.bye

lolllll...aare kia hua??? why have u taken it to heart..tumne toh interview ekdum dil se laga liya hai....u know if u analyze things in retrospect and if u peel aside the layerings of emotions and virtues,what Rajat has said(if he has said this) is true....the world bows down before the rising sun only ...but on the other hand....humility is a virtue and one shud always be humble and modest even when fortune and good luck is on ur side,cause fortune can take a turn any second.waise Rajat is extremely young and if he is acting arrogantly;it can be attributed to the meteoric rise he achieved with his first stint on T.V.Still he has along long way to go and i think he will mellow down with age...life and experience are the greatest teachers and Rajat too will learn his lessons and the tricks of the trade with time.
