Cola Controversies and Cricket!

What do you have to say on this:

"Will the recent Cola Controversies affect the Cricketing Zone, considering the fact that they are the key sponsors to most of the major series?"

I doubt that buzzbug. I am sure there will be no effect of the cola controversies esp in the subcontinet.

Even though Coca Cola & Pepsi has vested much interest in the game, I am sure there are enough sponsors to back the game in India esp. Its really very sad the cola conroversies are all politically motivated.

i am sure it will affect cricket but not the game but the players instead. many indian players do have big pay packets from the cola endorsements and i am sure it will go on a big slide provided the indian government bans the product or bans advertisements until the problem is solved.

i agree with you tommcat these all are politically motivated, the indian government has always been harsh on the mnc cola brands, which saw them move out in the earlier period, only to comeback last decade and land into trouble after trouble. i am sure indians face huge other problems which the government needs to look too and not make an issue of petty cola protests (sorry if i talked something other than cricket)

hmm... may be ... but tommcat is right... there are other sponsers.... cricket will not suffer.... and hey shrek... u atleast come to this section and talk yaar... but no one seems to come here :(
