I FEEL THAT IF U REALLY WANT TO EARN MONEY OR JUST WANT TO CHECK OUT LIFE IN DEVELOPED NATIONS, JUST GO THERE ONLY FOR ABOUT 5 YRS. SAVE MONEY, GET EXPERIENCE AND COME BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY AND TO YOUR PARENTS. I FIND MANY OLD PEOPLE STAYING ALONE IN INDIA BECAUSE ALL THEIR CHILDREN HAVE GONE ABROAD IN SEARCH OF BETTER OPPORTUNITIES. CHILDREN MOSTLY RETURN WHEN PARENTS R ILL OR DEAD. ANOTHER PROB IS THAT OUR COUNTRY IS NOT BEING ABLE TO PROGRESS BECAUSE ALMOST ALL OYUNG SCIENTISTS, DOCTORS OR ENGINEERS AND EVEN TEACHERS LEAVE THE COUNTRY.
I HAVE ALSO LIVED IN THE U.S. WITH MY PARENTS WHEN I WAS A KID BUT JAST FOR 6 YRS. THEN V CAME BACK. BRAIN DRAIN IS REALLY A BIG TERMITE FOR THE COUNTRY.BUT, INDIA SHUD ALSO TRY TO DEVELOP BETTER OPPORTUNITIES.
TO CONCLUDE, IT'S OK TO GO TO A DEVELOPED COUNTRY FOR 5-10 YRS. BUT, I M AGAINST SETTLING IN THOSE COUNTRIES.
IT'S A DIFFERENT MATTER IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE.BUT, IF POSSIBLE ONE SHUD RETURN TO ONE'S HOMELAND AND REPAY THE DEBT WHICH HE HAS TO PAY TO HIS HOMELAND IN RETURN OF ALL FACILITIES ONE HAS ENJOYED WHILE GROWING UP.
ANOTHER POINT IN MY CONCLUSION IS THAT IF U SETTLE DOWN IN SOME OTHER NATION, UR CHILREN LOSE THE INDIAN TOUCH. THEY LOSE THEIR INDIAN IDENTITY AND FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WITH INDIAN LANGUAGE, CUISINE AND CULTURE.

Ya I agree with all you guys.we should be loyal to our Country.This is wrong we all study here and go abroad for work.I dont like all this.We should not do this.I know there are some advantages and some disadvantages but more is the loss.Our own Country suffers.We work for those who never care about our country and our people.I agree with Riya that for experience we should go out but only for limited period of time.Our country is developing it is not developed till now so I think we all Indians should work in here only and make our country number 1 in the whole world as it used to be before Other peoples came to our Country and started exploiting us.

i think it totally depends on the person, he has to make his own decisions.....
me tooo think that people shudnt waste their life by disownin their own country but if they can stay ther and make a difference to the people of their own country ....then why not.....
with the developments and the modernization goin on it would be insane to stay in ur own country and not explore whats goin out there.......but ther shud be a time limit and after which 1 shud be dedicated enough to return back........

i'm also against brain-drain...i think dat when an individual utilises the resources of his motherland,his prime duty is to give it back to his motherland..many of our bright minds have settled abroad..but one thing shudn't be forgotten dat these minds were made brighter by the teachers,tutors n guides of their motherland...so how can u just back off when the time comes for u to stand n deliver ur share of output...
secondly...as was a dialogue in RDB"no country is perfect...we have to make it perfect"...so we all should stand n contibute rather than saying dat govt.doesn't do this n dat...we should strive hard n improve the system while still beibg a part of it...take impo postions n help in decision making..there r many examples where talented ppl like KIRAN BEDI have made a mark for themselves while still being a part of this'corrupt'system...
thirdly...no matter how many bucks u get as salary or how many apartments or cars u get,no happiness is real happiness unless n until u cant share it wid ur family n friends...so while u r achieving success in a far away place,ur family is oblivious to ur success...life's not only abt earning a gud salary but it is also the happiness u get when u see ur parents' delighted n proud of ur achievements,sharing gossip wid friends,pulling each others' legs n having a rocking time..n all these "real happiness agents" r miles apart on a foreign land!!!

majority of ppl here feel dat using the resouces of ur motherland n serving the other nation is a complete no-no....no matter how many pblms our nation faces,we r after all true citizens of our motherland....
sum ppl have also expressed dat there's no harm in studying abroad n getting valuable experience,but those who do go for higher studies abroad shul return back n use their experience in their own nation itself.....

since noboday has started yet,i'm gonna start expressing my views...
i think one of the major pblms facing INDIA is POPULATION....its the major root cause for all other pblms....it results in POVERTY N UNEMPLOYMENT....the population is exceeding at a very fast rate n still 'concrete'steps haven't been taken....we still ahve some areas where mothers go in for more children to get a boy...this is totally absurd in 2day's world when we have girls exceeding boys in every field.....
2nd pblm wud b UNEMPLOYMENT...the present situation is grave for the coming generatins...the number of job vacancies r less n those who r seeking jobs exceede the available number of jobs by a large margin....even gud degree holders r not able to get gud jobs according to their qualification....this results in depression,mental trauma n even in extreme cases suicide among the youth...
the solution for POPULATION wud b to undertake family planning programmes on a large scale...those couples shud b given monetary benefit by the govt which go in for single child...n more so if the single child is a girl...this invoves awareness starting 4om the grass-root level...maing the ppl living in rural areas aware abt the results of growing population....
for UNEMPLOYMENT,the govt shud create more job vacancies by starting new projects dat require man-power...in some areas,job r there but due to indifferent n negligent attitude of the govt,the concerned officials r not paying due attention 2wards it....
all these pblms require collective efforts of the govt n the citizens together...the society as a whole shud be involved in this process...its very easy to just sit back at our homes n criticise the govt..we sud take the reaponsibilty in our own hands...after all,this motherland's our own....so lets take the initiative..if each one of us contibute even a small drop,theses small drops wud ultimately result into a big ocean!:)

Most Imp problem faced by India is Poverty.I think poverty is the root couse of all the problems.If this problem is erradicated then all problems i.e illetracy,unemployment and all other problem will be solved itself.For eradication of this Problem we should dismiss all the corrupt people and we should give these peoples job.These poor people we see at signals and all we advice them to do work and poor people are ready to do the work they get but no one is ready to give them work.So i think this is the main problem faced by our country.

ya solid reasons nandini...
1.due to the cut-throat competition in every field these days,its hard to get admission in a gud clg n course..when youngsters aren't able to get wat they want,they go into acute depression n to get out of it,they resort to drugs...
2.i think 2day's so called "being cool"culture's also to blame!they think dat puffing cigarette n taking drinks classifies one as "cool"...which is so not true..n when u have friends near u doing the same thing,one gets automatically compelled to indulge in such stuff...
3.family pblms n personal pblm relating ot luv n relationships again results in depression n drugs offer them a release form all these tensions....
these days even school children r trying out drugs which is very alarming!drug peddlers can be seen standing outside schools n colleges selling drugs at real cheap prices...

According to me ppl specially men think that women r very weak since we r very free with xpressing our emotions........we donot like to keep them bottled up inside us like most men do..........this enables us to handle stress more effectively..........People differentiate bw boys n girls without realising that girls r if not more then at least equally capable............i think one of the main reasons is because of may be the upbringing the values instilled in them.........n also the sense of superiority that boys have coz they r physically more enabled to do certain tasks..........

Hey!!Thats a good topic!!!Ok let me start.....
I think that nowadayz kids r being pushed more into their homes coz of the various gagets invented.......they dont find it necessary to go out n play.........u know they lack physical exercise.........even our generation did not play out so much in the open like our parents did........it can be harmful.......infact it is.......so children need to go out more on camps n hiking.......then maybe theyll get to know nature on a closer level n learn to appreciate it!!!!!
