Today, i have to meet the guy i am supposed to marry. I have not seen him before but i am pretty confident he has the right attitude to be my partner. He has done an MBA and he sure has oodles of confidence.

He said he is fair complexioned and blah blah ... but i need to see how far the rest of the story is true. i came to know him only when he gave me a call suddenly on a friday evening, that was supposed to be our Blind date! I never turned up because i had to go out with a friend of mine, i had promised him that i shall meet him one day. He has grown an interest in me since then and insists to meet me... I have spoken to him on the phone a few times. What surprised me is that he has visited my parents without my knowledge! And my parents seem to like him and now they say i have to meet him, gosh wht do i do ??

There is a saying that goes like this, do what your heart says is right! I really dont have the need to meet him but i feel i have to do what my parents say is right for me!!

I didnt have the guts to say no to my parents, not that i am very orthodox, but i respect them ...

Mother gives principle of truth

Now, I will narrate to you a story surrounding the life of a great saint Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Gelani which happened about one thousand years ago. One day child Abdul Qadir heard a cow saying, what are you doing here in the grazing fields?, it is not for this you have been created. He ran back to his house feeling utterly terrified and climbed on to the roof of his house. From there he saw a large group of people returning from Arafat Mountain, thousands of miles away from his place in the neighbourhood of Mecca after performing Haj. Bewildered Abdul Qadir went to his mother and asked her permission to make a journey to Baghdad in order to pursue a career in knowledge. Mother understood the divine call and promptly gave the permission for him to go. She gave him 40 gold coins which was his share he inherited from his father. She stitched these 40 gold coins inside the lining of his coat and gave him permission to leave. When she stepped out of the door to bid him a farewell, she said, Oh, my son! You are going! I have detached myself from you for the sake of Allah knowing that I shall not see your face again until the day of last judgement. But take one advice from me. My son, you always feel the truth, speak the truth and propagate the truth even when your life is at stake.

Abdul Qadir travelled with a small caravan heading for Baghdad. During the journey, when the caravan was passing through the tough terrains, a group of robbers on horses suddenly attacked the caravan and started looting. None of them however took the slightest notice of Abdul Qadir, until one of the looters turned to him and said. ?You are here poor boy! Do you have anything with you? Abdul Qadir replied, I have got 40 gold coins which are stitched by my mother in the lining of my coat underneath my armpit. The looter smiled and thought that Abdul Qadir was just joking. He left him alone and moved elsewhere. When their leader came and the looters took this boy to their leader and said to him, A poor boy claims that he is in possession of 40 gold coins. We looted everybody but we have not touched him because we hardly believed that he has got gold coins with him. Then the leader put the same question but Abdul Qadir replied the same. Then the leader ripped through his coat and discovered that he indeed got 40 gold coins inside the lining of his coat.

The astonished leader asked Abdul Qadir, what prompted him to make this confession? Abdul Qadir replied. My mother made me promise to always be truthful even at the cost of my life. Here, it was a matter of only 40 Gold coins. I promised her and never betrayed her trust, so I told the truth. The looters started weeping and said, you have adhered to the advice of your great mother but we have been betraying the trust of our parents and the covenant of our Creator for many years. From now onwards, you would become our leader in our repentance and they all decided to give up robbery and from that day, became righteous persons. Here the world saw the birth of a great saint, Shiek Abdul Qadir Al-Gilani out of a message of truth a mother gave to her child.

Moral: 'Truth in thinking and action will have a power higher than enduring Tapas and generous Charity.'

I'd love to see the world,
from one end to the other.
Just me and our wondrous planet,
each country, one after another.

From castles of times gone by,
to the islands of sunshine and sand,
and up the volcanoes and hilltops,
such an experience would be grand.

I can't wait to see the world,
though I love my country so
the red dust plains, summer rains
and hardly any snow.

I'd head north by north-west,
and work my around,
'til I get back to Australia,
and my journey is homeward bound.

But there is so much here to see,
and lots that I still have to do.
So my travel plans are put on hold
until when - I haven't a clue!

For The Kind Attention Of The Moderators And The Administrations Of The Forum Indya And All Viewers

I, with the I D, Man, wish to bring to the notice of the above mentioned folks and all those view and use this forum and sections. That I have been updating written an video in the sections Ek Ladki Anjani Si – now complete – And Left Right Left for the last four / five months. Along with these, I have threads of Laughs, Life is like that and Poems.

For months now, I find my threads, few posts, without provocations and with out giving any reasons nor explanation, are being unnecessarily deleted. This is unfair and unethical. Because I checked out with indya id administration and he has been very kind to have replied about two months or so back that I have had broken no rules and keep posting. I have here by reproduced few private messages to him below.

I have brought this to the notice of the kind administrator and he has taken notice of this unfair and sad way of targeting my threads.

I have also sent messages in this regard to Moderator Ksluv_1408, Ashesha, who has been kind enough to respond despite her busy schedule. But sad to say Moderators I D animateash and Vipin_Agnihotri have failed to respond. Very sad because they are the Moderators here to over see the smooth working of the forum.

My posts and threads do bring revenue – money inflow – because my threads and posts have huge viewer ship. By deleting them/ my posts and threads ; the forum is deprived of the cash.

Total Time section is one section where anything under the sun goes into, Please look up the homepage and its description of the section, -- Total Timepass Anything under the sun, moon and even earth! This is the place for all timepass topics. -- and also on top of the page. Hence there is no limitation. Whoever is deleting is doing so unfairly and unethically.

Incase there are further harassments and deletion of my threads and posts, then I will have to rethink my posting any more items here and switch over to some other forum who are better organized and ethically fair and correct.

My Plea is to the person who so ever it may be, please stop it, it is an act of coward, for I do not know who you are and what ever you are doing is unfair and unethical.


To the Moderator and Administrators please be kind enough to take timely, speedy and corrective steps to resolve the Issue. I and others put in lot of efforts in posting over items, if any one is playing game with me. It is a cowardly act. And if it is someone in power then it is the abuse of power. Please stop this cowardly act.

My posts and threads have been deleted yet again but I repost it yet again.

It is important for men to remember that, as women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of housekeeping as they did when they were younger. When you notice this, try not to yell at them. Some are oversensitive, and there's nothing worse than an oversensitive, aging woman. My name is Jim. Let me relate how I handled the situation with my wife, Peggy. When I retired a few years ago, it became necessary for Peggy to get a full-time job along with her part-time job, both for extra income and for the health benefits that we needed. Shortly after she started working, I noticed she was beginning to show her age. I usually get home from the golf club about the same time she gets home from work. Although she knows how hungry I am, she almost always says she has to rest for half an hour or so before she starts dinner. I don't yell at her. Instead, I tell her to take her time and just wake me when she gets dinner on the table. I generally have lunch in the Men's Grill at the club, so eating out is not a reasonable solution. I'm ready for some home-cooked grub when I hit that door. She used to do the dishes as soon as we finished eating. But now it's not unusual for them to sit on the table for several hours after dinner. I do what I can by diplomatically reminding her several times each evening that they won't clean themselves. I know she really appreciates this, as it does seem to motivate her to get them done before she goes to bed. I think another symptom of aging is complaining. For example, she will say that it is difficult for her to find time to pay the monthly bills during her lunch hour. But, boys, we take 'em for better or worse, right? So I just smile and offer encouragement. I tell her to stretch it out over two or even three days. That way she won't have to rush so much. I also remind her that missing lunch completely now and then wouldn't hurt her any (if you know what I mean). I like to think tact is one of my strong points. When doing simple jobs, she seems to think she needs more rest periods. She had to take a break when she was only half finished mowing the yard. I try not to make a scene. I'm a fair man. I tell her to fix herself a nice, big, cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and just sit for a while. And, as long as she is making one for herself, she may as well make one for me too. I know that I probably look like a saint in the way I support Peggy. I'm not saying that bestowing this much consideration is easy. Many men will find it difficult. Some will find it impossible! Nobody knows better than I do how frustrating women get as they get older. However, Guys, even if you just use a little more tact and less criticism of your aging wife because of this article, I will consider that writing it was well worthwhile. After all, we are put on this earth to help each other. Signed, Jim EDITOR'S NOTE: Jim died suddenly on May 27 of a perforated rectum. The Police report stated that he was found with a Callaway extra long 50-inch Big Bertha Driver II golf club jammed up his rear end, with barely 5 inches of grip showing and a sledge hammer lying nearby. His wife Peggy was arrested and charged with Jim's demise. The all-woman jury took only 15 minutes to find her Not Guilty, accepting her defence that Jim somehow, without looking, accidentally sat down on his golf club.
