Hey guyz!!!Since evry forum is bound to have one,i thought ki why not this forum.??So this is a thread where u can let ur imagination run wild n post all the stories bout lrl uve been dying to tell sumone!!!!

So dont hesitate to post in ur stories........they can be anything........emotional:( ,romantic:rolleyes: ,Funny:D Or just general.......but only related to lrl...ie containing its characters!!
For example u can make up a story of how ali could propose to pooja or naina takes revenge on huda 4 lying n ends up falling 4 him!!!!!

pooja kisi bat par upset rehti hai.ai use manane cheerup karne ke liye wapis rohit ban kar call karta hain...again in a hesitation manner wo usse bat karta hai...call khtam kar pooja ali se milne aati hai.she tells usne phone par kya baat ki tabhi ali ke muh se nikal jata hai ki phir rohit ne ye kaha as wo unki aur rohit ki prem katha se tang aa jata hai aur galti se keh jata hai ki aur fir rohit ne ye kaha hume malum hai...etc etc....
pooja smjh jaati hai ki ali hi roht bankar call karta tha.....wo ali se ruth jaati hai...ali tries to calm her wo use samjhata hai ki usneye sab uska mood thik karne ke liye kiye..to pooja says par kyu kiya ye sab tumne mujhe dhokha diya etc etc.and finnaly gusse mai ali bhi keh jata hai ki unse usnka gham unka dard dekha nahi jataaap kab taj us rohit ka intezaar kengi jo aapko aise shadi ke mndap par chod gaya....kab tak aap sirf unhi ke liye jeeyengi..aapke aas paas koi hai unka aapko dyaan hhi naih aap rahit ke liye sochi hain par aapne yeh nahi socha ki aapke liye bhi koi itna soch sakta hai....aapne kabhi dusro ke feelings samajhne ki koshsish nahi ki...aap kabhi yeh nahi dekhti ki.hum....ki hum.bhi pyar ker sakte hai.apse........



so hows my story.....i knowkuch jyaad hi high hai.and may bhi ghisipitti bhi ho..but ali pooja ko milane ke liye mai kuch bh kar sakti hu./:D

Ok guyz!!!Heres my first fan fic........only 4 lrlfans!!!!!So here goes!!!

Bcoz rajveer n all the students rebel bc decides to give naina another chance but instead of taking rajveers test he asks them to repeat surijis test
Bc:Cadet naina singh,main aapko aakhri mauka de rah hoon,aur woh bhi capt.rajveer ki wajah se.Yaad rahe ,agar aap is test mein fail ho gayi toh aapko is academy ko choodna padega.
Naina:Ji sir.Main test ko pass karne ki poori koshish karoongi.

She goes out of his office n meets rajveer
Naina:Thank u sir.......aapki wajah se mujhe is academy mein doosra mooka mila hai.........main poori koshish karoongi ki main yeh test top karoon.
Rajveer:Koshish nahin cadet singh.....aapko yeh test top karna hi padega.Hum sabki ummedein hain aap par.
Naina:Ji sir.main is test ko kisi bhi halat mein jeetongi sir.

Then she goes to her room n tells pooja bout her talk with bc
Pooja:Oye,yeh toh bahut achi baat hui na.Finally us budhe bc ka network set ho gaya.....chal naina jaldi se soo ja....tujhe kal test emin top karna hai!!
Naina:Ok,Gud nite

The whole night naina is worried n tensed as to how She will fare tomorrows test.

next morning they all assemble in front of suriji.Major nair n rajveer r also there
Suriji:Cadets,jaisa ki aap jante hain ki yeh ek retest hai,isliye jaisa aapne pehli baar kiya tha waisa hi aapko phir se karna hoga.Lekin is baar max items ki bajai saare items ko lana hoga.R u ready???
All:Yes sir!!
Suriji:Theek hai,ab aap sab aakar apne team ke liye chits uthaiye

Ali gets pooja n another guy

Meanwhile,huda puts a bet with alekh
Huda:Lagta hai phoolan is baar bhi mere saath hogi
AAlekh:Abe shaane,pehle jo natak kiya tha na woh bas tha......ab zyaada shaan mat maar!!Naina teri team mein nahin aayegi.
Huda: acha??itna confidence??Shart laga le,phoolan toh meri team mein aayegi.
Aalekh:Theek hai lagi 500 ki shart.Lagta hai tere ko is baar sabak sikhana hi hoga

Ab kya hoga??Who will win the bet????

Suriji calls naina n asks her to pick a chit.Huda peeks 4m the back n spots aalekhs name.....
Huda:{hinks to himself}Are yaar ....agar yeh aalehk phoolan ke saath chala gaya toh bet toh main haar hi jaoonga upar se phoolan ko phir se patane ka chance bhi jayega...kuch karna padega......
He slowly bends down picks a small sharp stone n just as naina is abot to say aalekhs name he throws it on her leg
Naina:Aa....ah!!
Suriji:Kya hua puttar??
Naina:Kuch nahin sir.......woh bas aisehi...
M.Nair:Jo log apne pairon par khade nahin ho sakte woh soldier kya banenge??
Rajver:M nair......saamne wale ko underestimate karna bhi toh spldier ka kaam nahin hai....Suriji plz continue.

In this confusion naina drops the chit.......
she picks snother one n guess whos name is there on the chit???

Naina:Cadet huda
Huda:To aalekh:Dekha maine kaha tha na ki yeh shart main hi jeeuntga.
Aalekh is silent n just shakes his head n walks away....

aalekh walks forward n picks 2 chits which have yudi n another guyz names
Yudi:Chief......is baar bhi main tumhari team mein hoon is baar humein at any cost jeetna hai....rite???
Aalekh stares at him n walks away

Pooja:Dekh ali meri battery zyaada dowm mat kar......warna main yeh team chood dongi...
Ali:AAp aisa kyun keh rahi hain.......theek hai aap ko jo thheek lage aap wohi keejiye...

Suriji:Cadets aapke 10 mins khatam ho gaye hain.r u ready???

He pulls her up

Huda:{Panting}:Main toh trophy lane gaya tha..........list ka last item........bhool gayi phoolan????

Naina suddenly remembers
Sheetal:Acha theek hai.........par time up hone wala hai........chalo........
They run towards the table n place the trophy just as suriji declares half time.
Suriji:Cadet naina singh,aapne saare items sabse pehle jama kiye hain.U have passed the test!!!!

Just then aalekh arrives n congratulates naina.......after all the teams r 2gether they congratulate naina........she walks up to rajveer.

There was no name signed at the bottom....
AAlekh:Ab yeh kaun mamu hai....

He goes to the rear end of the hostel......
Aalekh:Yahan par toh koi bhi nahin hai......

Suddenly sumone grabs his hands n pins them to his back.....A hand appears n a knife rests on his throat...
A voice says.......'Agar khopdi hilane ki koshish ki toh dharti pe taare dikha dungi'

Aalekh guessed who it was n said'ud ko bhi dikha dena......aata hi hoga....'
'Kya!!!!????' u must have guessed it by now....but 4 the ignoramus let me tell u its neelu....

So......neelu looses her grip 4 a sec n aalekh grabs the opportunity to yank the knife out of her hand,turns back
twists her arm.....
'Aapun ko shana samjhe li hai kya???'
Neelu: Dekhna tha ki tujhme kitna dum hai.

aalekh turns her around n pulls her close....

Aalekh:dekh liya ya aur bhi dikhaun??
Neelu: Apne ilake mein sab sher hote hain......Dum hai toh le chal mere ko long drive pe......
Aalekh:Soch le.......apun kisi cheez ki guarentee nahin lenga.....
Neelu:Apun risk lene ko tayyar hai.....

'YAR YEH PHOOLAN NA ACADEMY MEIN DIKHAI DI NA HUM SAB KE SATH YAHA AYIE. TO YEH HAI KAHAAAN . AUR MUJHE KYUN NAHI PATA AUR YEH KAIDI KYA JANTA HAI. KUCH TO HAI HUDA PATA LAGANA HI PADEGA
CAPT RAJVEER KO ZAROOR PATA HOGA UNSE PUCHTA HOON .
THEN AT THE TABLE , HUDA GETS UP TO THE PHONE AND CALLS CAPT.RAJVEER AND HOPES TO KNOW WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND WHY IS NAINA NOT TO BE SEEN . ON CALLING UP THE BOY SEES DR. SHALINI AND GIVES THE MESSAGE THAT CADET HUDA IS ASKING FOR CAPT. RAJVEER (ON PHONE)

In the last chapter i ended with a suspense..
In this chapter u will come across to know tht suspense..

Huda run's towards the room of capt.rajveer.
he finds the door latch clsoed..
But Huda searches in the nearby corridor area...
He dosen't find any key ,he steps on the doormat
outside the room of capt. and he feels that sumfin is down that
mat....and guess wat he finds the duplicate key of the room.

he opens the door and enters the room......
now he starts searching for some info about naina..
yes ,he wants to know that why does naina always stay
with capt.rajveer.....is their anythin that capt nows abt her....
he searches everywhere but finds nothing.
huda"oye meri phoolan humesha us capt. ke saath rehti hai,kahin aisa
to nahi ki sirf mein use pyaar karta hoon aur vo mujhse nahi?"

suddenly aalek see's capt.'s room open but dosent bother to go and

Yane ki aadah saal........aur doosra sem shuru hone wala hai........
pehle sem mein cadet naina singh ne first yr batch mein top kiya hai.....
all Cheer n shout........
B.c. : cadet naina well done. Hum aapse aur acche ki umeed karte hain....
Naina: Ji sir.
B.c. : Haan toh sem end hoone par aapko 4 weeks ki ****ti milegi jisme hum logon ne ek camp organize kiya hai......
Jo log chahein woh join kar sakte hain.......is camp ke incharge major nair............aur capt.rajveer hain.
ab woh log aapko baaki details batayenge.....
Major nair: Haan toh cadets....Yeh camp paas mein kuch pahadiyon mein camping centre mein hoga...
camp holidays ke 2nd week se shuru hoga.....jo log join karna chahtein hain woh log 1st week mein ghar ja sakte hain
n 2nd week se camp join kar sakte hain.
He looks at naina deliberately n says:Yaad rahe yeh camp sirf un logon ke liye hai jo log itni mehnat karne ke kabil hain..
Samjhe??
Rajveer interveens: Kaun kabil hai aur kaun nahin yeh baad mein pata chalega....aap apne saath apne kisi family member
ya kisi dost ko laa sakte hain..........Filhaal aap log jaa sakte hain....

Just then rajveer reaches there
Rajveer:Nakabiliyat toh tab pata chalti hai jab imtihaan liya jata hai.....aur test liye bina hi aapne result
announce kar diya???Sabra major.....sabra.....aapko apna jawab jaldi mil jaayega...
Major gets irritated n goes away from there.
Rajveer: So...cadet aap camp par aa rahi hai naa???
Naina: Ji sir...zaroor aaongi....
Rajveer: Good....Thats very good....

Then he leaves..
This conversation is heard by huda....
He says to himself "Accha toh phoolan camp pe jaa rahi hai...chal huda....kaam pe lag ja....yahi sahi mauka hai.....phoolan
ab tera yeh deewana tujhe manaye bina chodega nahin....."



Ab naina ke alaawa aur kaun kaun jaa rah hai????
Huda n naina ki jodi toh jaa hi rahi hai..........but kya lovey dovey couple ali aur pooja jayenge?????

Somebody:cadet huda tumhare liye phone hai.
Huda:Oye phone mere liye, zaroor meri phoolan ka hi hoga.
Pooja:lagta hai tera connection jud gaya.
Huda on phone:Hello main janta tha ki tu mujhe phone zarror karegi.
Terrorist:Par mujhe nahin pata tha ki tu hume dhoka dega.
Huda:kaun bol raha hai tu.
Terr.:tera boss,lagta hai tum apna mission bhul gaye isliye yaad dila doon ki agar tumne jald hi capt. ka kaam khatam nahin kiya to.
Huda:to kya kar lega,huda tumhari dhamkiyo se nahin darta samjhe
Terr.:Samajh me to ab tere aayega jab hum tumhari khas dost ko.
Huda:kaun si dost ?Terr.:wahi jise tu jungle me bacha raha tha woh is waqt humare paas hai

Ali: Woh.....hum abhi soch rahe hain......lekin agar aap camp par chalengi toh rohit ko dhoondh ne mein aasani hogi.....
Pooja: Kya??Camp aur rohit ka kya connection hai??????
Ali: Nahin woh kya hai ki....humne pata kiya hai....ki jahan hum camp karne jaa rahe hain wahan thodi dur pe
internet centres hain....toh humein rohit ko dhundhne mein aur aasaani hogi............
Pooja: hmm.....baat to tu sahi kar raha hai......waise bhi camp nahin gayi toh ghar jaana padega.....aur agar ghar gaye toh

Frndz this is one small effort from me.I hope that u guys like as its jst 4 u.
I'm starting my story after 30th Oct epi.which showed Huda talking to Naina's dad.It seems that he is fine & didn't suffered any heartattack & the call came to naina was fake made by the terrorist(Huda's boss).
They kidnap naina to blackmail huda.
In the academy:Huda in the canteen with all the guys.
Somebody:cadet huda tumhare liye phone hai.
Huda:Oye phone mere liye, zaroor meri phoolan ka hi hoga.
Pooja:lagta hai tera connection jud gaya.
Huda on phone:Hello main janta tha ki tu mujhe phone zarror karegi.
Terrorist:Par mujhe nahin pata tha ki tu hume dhoka dega.
Huda:kaun bol raha hai tu.
Terr.:tera boss,lagta hai tum apna mission bhul gaye isliye yaad dila doon ki agar tumne jald hi capt. ka kaam khatam nahin kiya to.
Huda:to kya kar lega,huda tumhari dhamkiyo se nahin darta samjhe
Terr.:Samajh me to ab tere aayega jab hum tumhari khas dost ko.
Huda:kaun si dost ?Terr.:wahi jise tu jungle me bacha raha tha woh is waqt humare paas hai
Yakeen nahin aata to le baat kar.
Naina talks to huda & tell him something in codes.
Huda runs to capt.Rajveer who is sitting with dr Mishra.
Huda:Sir....aapse bahot urgent kaam hai plz.
Dr mishra:cadet capt. abhi busy hai tum der se aana.
Capt.:ek minute, kya baat hai cadet tum kaafi tensed ho.
Huda:haan sir woh naina.........
Capt:kya hua naina ko?
Huda: sir aap chaliye main apko sab batata hoon.
Capt:chalo cadet excuse me dr Mishra.
Dr mishra :har bar yeh cadet singh humare beech aa jati hai.
Huda tells everything to capt.
Capt:r u sure naina unke paas hai.
Huda haan sir maine usse baat bhi ki aur usne mujhe ye code bhi diya.
Capt:chalo cadet humein use bachana hai.Both then leaves to rescue Naina.

She looks at him with tear brimmed eyes.....n falls into his arms................ali is surprised.......but after sum hesitat

Pooja:....woh kehta hai ki rohit mujhse pyaar nahin karta........isiliye mujhe mandap pe chod diya.......use mere type ki
ladki mein koi interest nahin hai........
ali lifts her face of his shoulder n says....uske kehne se kya hota hai.......aap sirf apne dil ki suniye.....Woh kya kehta
hai??
Pooja: Mera dil toh yeh sab mannne ke liye hi tayyar nahin hai.....woh amar keh raha tha ki main acchi nahin lagti rohit ko.
......kya main acchi nahin hun ali??????
Ali: Nahin pooja.......aap bahut acchi hain......aapko toh koi bhi ladka pasand karega.......
Pooja: Toh rohit kyun nahin????[she looks questioningly at him]
Ali:......uh......aisa nahin hai pooja.....shaayad rohit ko......time chahiye.........
Pooja falls silent........then after sumtime she asks.......Ali......kya tu mujhe pasand karta hai?????
Ali is surprised at this question......he doesnt know wat to say.....he loooks at pooja......n she looks up into his eyes...




just as u xpected......thats it 4 this chapter!!!!!!!!But but dont worry..........agle chapter mein aur bhi masala hai....

On the way to the gate shes struggling with her suitcase....just then haryanvi huda cums there...
Huda: Oye phoolan...la....main tera bag utha leta hoon.....
Naina: Rehne de huda....main kar loongi.....waise bhi tere paas apne bags bhi toh hain.......
Huda: Oye hoye naina...tu bhi na.....tu musibat mein ho aur main madat na karoon....ho nahin sakta.....

Just then ud cums in.....aalekh hastily lets go of neelu n she stands demurely in a corner......

CHAP:1“Mujhe badi fikar ho raho hai, beta, yeh sab kaise hoga? Ek to itna lamba safar, aur upar se Punjabi shaadi! Hamain unki reeton ke bare main khuch bhi pata nahin….kuch bhool ho gai to?”, a women was telling his son. Worry was evident from her words as well from the wrinkles of her face.

“Aap bevajah fiker kar rahin hain Ammi, Kapoortala se unke koi parivaar se koi yahaan aane vale hain, hamein sab kuch samjha denge, aur saari taiyarion main madad bhi karenge….”, a tall boy sat by the lady’s knees, eyeing a jhoomka in the great spread of jewellery and garments around him.

“…vaise bhi aapne to is hi ghar mein chaar-chaar shaadiyan karvayi hai. Is baar to sirf barat le ke jaana hai!”, said the boy reaching out to the jhoomka.

“Arre, dekho bhaijaan, aap hum auraton ki kaam main dakhal na do! Vaise bhi, hamari bhabhi ko chod ke aapki choice badi kharab hai…..” one of the seven girls said…making all of them giggle.

“Yaad hai Ammi, aapa ki shaadi main bhaiyaa ne mujhe hare ghagre ke saath kala dupatta pasand karvaya tha….”, said the youngest looking one, smiling.

“Bhaijaan, aur unke raang…..hara ya kala ya fir bhoora…..sara samay apni fauj ki baatein…..aur kuch aata bhi hai kya unko??”, said another, still giggling!
The boy oblivious to all this mazak masti, was staring at the golden jhoomka, with red beeds…….thinking of his beloved, his love……his would-be-wife…..
“Maine agar tere saath freashers ball main aane se inkaar kar diya, to tu mujhe mana nahin sakta tha??”
“Hum bhi kamre main yahi soch rahe the….”
“Par tune aaj miss bahut kuch kiya, sabne itna maza kaiya, itna naache….”
“Aap kise bevkoof bana rahin hain? Yeh hum bhi jante hain aur aap bhi, ke aape to ball main kiya w o h dance nahin tha!”
“To kya tu sikhayega mujhe dance karana……?”
The look in his eyes said it all. He, who had never danced, never beheld a girl other than his sisters, never gone so close to anyone, never felt love……took her hand and lead her to the deserted dancefloor!! And they dance, for what seemed like hours…..without any music with perfect harmony!

“Captain Ali Begh!!”, called a voice from the courtyard!

Ali shot up and rushed to the door….the voice sounded weirdly familier, but Ali couldn’t recongnise it…..

A boy of about four and an old woman were arguing, sitting in the varandah of a mension-like house surrounded by trees. A Sardar enters with three other men and pulled a stool near the jhoola on which the woman was sitting.

“Dono mangva lenge puttarji, koi gal nahin! Jo bhi hamare chotu ko pasand hai, wohi banega didi ki shaadi vich!”

“Tu bhi Surender, bigaad baitha hai in bachhon ko!”, said the old woman wth a smile.

“Inhise to hamari jind vich rang bhar aate hain, biji! Oye sunlo, o khotyo, saadi kudi di shaadi main koi bhi kami nahin rehni chahiye…..O biji, apni jhalli sahelion de naal bazaar gai si, vaapas kab aayegi?”

“Bachchi, waqt ki badi pakki hai, das baje ka keh har gayi thi, ja dekh le, apne kamre main sahelion ke saath gappe maar rahi hogi……”

“Aaho-ji! Yeh armywale yeh cheez badi changi sikhate hain!

“Captaindidi to kad ki aa gai si…..didi…………………….!!”, boy yelled!!

“Oye, Phate dhol, tu phir se chillaya!”, a girl of about 24, tall, pretty and bubbly, rushed out with a stick and ran behind the boy!

“Bachchi, tu us Bandar ke piche mat bhaag. Tu ja, apne dostan de naal….”, and the girl went in……….

“Beep-beep”

Her cell phone flased “1 Message Received”

Her fingers trembled, she smiled…..she knew who this could be…….clicked, “Read”

“Good MorningJ” it read!

No senders name, but she knew it! It was he, who was the sender of all the incoming messages to her heart……Captain Ali Begh!



“Kiska message hai, Poojadi?” and a group of about fifteen giggling girls entered her room.

“Mujhe to ek hi network se incoming aate hain……”, and the girls giggled again!

“Ab to aap pakdi gayi didi, aaj to aapko apni academy waali baatein humain karni hi padegi.”

“Haan, didi, aaj hum aapko nahin jaane dene waale”

“Achha? To theek hai, poorane messages padh hi deti hoon! Bolo kya bataun?”

“Aap ke saath jiju wahin the na? Aur kaun kaun the?”

“Hmmmm…..Ali aur main vahi mile the….main kisike saath baat karti hui gir padi aur who mujhse baat karne gaya, par main behosh ho gayee….”,Captain Pooja Ghai was all-set to venture into her old memories…..but didn’t know where this journey would take her!

“….usse sab ‘usool’ kehte the, aur mujhe ‘panjaban’, dono naam jat ne rakhe the….”

“Jat? Kaun jiji?”

“Arre sada Huda, kamal da banda tha. Hamesha hasta, aur aspas sab ko hasata rehta tha….saari kudiyan paagal thi us jhalle de piche!”

The young ones in the group giggled at the mere imagination of him.

“….aur tha Yudi, w o h chote bachche jaisa tha, ekdam stupid! Par dil da bada changa tha. Kudion da department weak tha uska…….hum uski bahut khichai karte the!…”, Pooja’s eyes were flipping through the pages of Kanchanjunga Military Academy…..

“Aur…………Suriji, humare liye papaji jaise the, kabhi data diya karte the, par saare bachchon ke dil pehchante the, Lolita mam thi, Dr.Shalini thi, w o h teacher kum aur dost zyada thi…. Aur Nair tha, use to maine dim main tare dikha diye….bahut pitai ki maine uski……sabse khatarnaak, BC tha, usse Huda ‘Tau’ kehta tha….usko jhelna ek drill poori karne jaisa tha”

“Phir “quaidi” tha, kam bolta tha, par jab bhi bolta sach bolta, theek bolta…..dosti main, aur dushmani main jaan de jaye! Aalekh, kai baar hamein kuch galat karne se roka hai usne….! Admi ko turant hi pehchan jata tha…..bas ek baar hi bhool kar di……”, Pooja’s voice shivered, and then, “Aur kuch, ya itna bas hua?…………..”

“Aur didi, tumhari who best friend, jiske bare main aap ma ko likhti thi….kya naam tha…….haan…..Naina??”

“Naina……?? W o h……………..”, her voice died down………………. “Arre, kudiyon, tumhe, saariyaan nahin chunni kya…..meri shaadi main to ‘only best dressed allowed”, kya?”

The girls giggled and ran away to the next room where all the other ladies were making purchases.

Pooja was left behind….alone…..lost in thoughts……Naina’s name baught tears in her eyes….for a second….. “We have to move on…..all of us…..and she too…..”, she told herself…..and gathered herdelf back to the present…..

“Pooojeeeeeeee………..”


“Aaayeee, ma!”, answered Pooja, and ran to the adjoining room and engrossed herself forcibly into an animated converstion with her sister on whether to wear blue, or yellow for Mahendi ceremony!

Silence…….

“Main hi bevkof hoon, jo yeh sab karti rehti hoon……Paanch saal ho gaye shaadi ko…..aur hum dost bhi nahin bas sakein!”

Silence….

“Kuch bhi karu…..aapko kuch na kuch kaam aa hi jata hai…..Simla jana tha, kaam aa gaya…..pichle saal tumhari bahen ki shaadi hui, mujhe bhej diya…..aur ab saare guests ke beech main akeli thi……….aur aap ko phir se KAAM THA!!??”

“Gopal, meri coffee kahan hai?”

“Important kaam……kya hota hai aapke liye yeh main jaanti hoon…..phir se….”

“PLEASE!!”, yelled Colonel Rajveer Singh Shekhavat, at his wife, “….I said I am SORRY!”, his wife, Ritu, was almighty’s one beautiful creation, with all the aesthetic perfections…..draped in an expensive black saari, sparkling jewellery, she looked like a dream……..but the Colonel’s eyes never rested on her….her beauty was all in vain to him. As he looked at her, with a blank expression, his eyes didn’t have a tinge of attraction, admiration, love or even respect.

“We are married, do you realize that Colonel?? MARRIED! You owe me some of your time……..Yeh shaadi nibhaana aapki bhi zimmedaari hai!”, yelled she.

“Haan…..hai na, meri bhi…..zimmedari……Zimmedari hi to hai!”

Ritu stared at him for a minute, as her silently sipped his coffee. Than walked out of the room….

Rajveer stood up….his hands tucked in his pockets, looked up in the sky, and closed his eyes, “I am sorry……Naveen!”

The atmosphere grew more festive as cars full of relatives arrived at the Ghai household in Kapoorthala, from all over the country that morning!

Pooja’s face had a glow, which made her shine brighter than her chunky jewellery. She was sitting on the jhoola with Biji, and all her relatives wished her one by one as they came. Every now and than, she kept on looking at her hand, where a golden ring with an engraved “A” shone under the sun, the mere glimpse of this, made her pretty face glow even more!

“Oye Praji, tusi, Amritsar wich Hotel book karai?”, Pooja’s aunt asked her father.

“Yeh tuna achha yaad dilaya.”, answered Surender Ghai, “Kuljeet, oye Kuljeete….”

“Ji Pitaji”,answered Kuljeet, Pooja’s brother.

“Amritsar di koi changi hotel wich ek changa sa kamra dekh ke book karvaade, Pooja de khaad dost aane wale hai…..aur inhe to thik se rakhe nahin, to aspas ke log use pareshaan karne aa jayenge….bhai poora khyal rakhna, hamari khatirdaari main koi kami nahin honi chahiye!”, explained Surender.

“Ji, Pitaji”, said Kuljeer and drove off in his motorbike.

Ali walked up to his sister and took the receiver from her hand.

“Helo?”

“Tum samajhte kya ho? Jo man main aayega w o h karoge? Aur main karne doonga? Bro, you are very much mistaken!”, a familiar voice yelled on the other end of the receiver. It took Ali a second to recognize it, and this baught a grin on his otherwise serious face.

“Oh, Yudibhai, hum samaj saktain hain, magar yeh sab itni jaldi…..”

“I am terribly angry with you, dude. Aap shaadi kar rahe ho, and what do I get….??? This invitation card…..aur w o h bhi shaadi ke paanch din pahele?”

“Magar, aap aa to rahe hain na?”

“Now he is asking…..Haan, ab teri lovestory ko ham sabne milkar to banaya hai….ab uska success dekhne bhi nahi aayenge kya?”

“To fir der kis baat ki….”

“Anyways, congratulations dude! I will be there in a jiffy. Magar baaki saare bhi aa rahe hain?”

The chat ended there….Ali had a smile on his face, his friend, one of the closest….and after such a looong time……He had a feeling of excitement, but he feared….that the past, and long forgotten memories would re-surface……

“Ali, yeh tumhara dost Yudi hi than na, jo party waale din….Madonna….??”, his sisters question baught Ali back to the present.

“Ji Aapa. Pahele yeh bade confused-se hua karte the, magar ab to sahab Captain Yaduvansh Sahani ho gaye hain, aur KMA main Strategy & Communications padhate hain cadets ko! Dhan-daulat aur saari suvidha main palne ke bavajod army ke sakht aur discipline saanche main khudko dhaala hai inhone!”, Ali voice was filled with pride and love for his friend!


Army Headquaters, New Delhi, 1200hrs:

“Saahab ka mood kaisa hai?”,Orderly Mayank Shekhar asked his collegue, holding a coffee mug.

‘Pata nahin, aaj kisiko andar bulaya hi nahin!”

“Aisi koi baat nahin hai, magar zaraa sa darr lagta hai. Saahab waise to hain apni hi umra ka, magar unka jawab nahin….is desh ko un jaise ek do aur mil jaye na, to in sab dushmano ki chhotti kar de!”

“Yaar, fir bhi, zaraa sambhalyo! Kabhi pyaar se dost ki tarah baat kartein hain, aur kabhi aise dekhtein hain ki………”

“…Kuch bhi bol, koi baat hai, saade Major main, pichle saal Diwali pe ghar aaye the, to amma ke pairon ke paas baith gaye aur phir unhi se baatein ki, saari shaam, aur jaate jaate bole, ‘Shekhar, amma ki jaan se laga kar rakhna!’….”

Trembling, Orderly knocked at the door. The door, that beared a very familiar name, but it seemed so much more respectable today, “Major Aalekh Sharma”.

“Aajao, Orderly”, a voice as young as a boy’s called out!

“Coffee, aur daak, Major!”

“Hmmm…”

Orderly departed.

Major Aalekh Sharma fumbled through his post, flipping through what seemed to be a dozen of different envelopes, his hands jerked to a halt holding a golden envelope. He smiled……pushed aside all other posts, and lay back on his chair.

For several minutes, the strict, efficient, perfect, determined Army Officer, Major Aalekh Sharma, became Cadet Aalekh!

“Yeh fookat ki chai, fookat ka kapda….kaam kya hai?”

“Oye, khotya, yeh jail nahin hai, academy hai…..aur tujhe army officer banana hamara jimma hai!”, face of plump Suriji floated in his memories…….

... “Abe oye Quaidi, jail se to nikal gaya, insaan bhi banja, shave kar le, makkhan ki tarah chalega yeh rezor”,he could see several cadets holding him back, and one of them came near and near to him holding a razor.

“Kya tum Mujhe ander le jaoge, handsome??”, Madonna asked him. This one was too much even for the grim Major to resist….and he laughed sitting in his cabin!

‘RING-RING’

“Major Aalekh Sharma…”

“Happy Birthday to you……”, said a girl’s voice. Aalekh’s face gave a never before smile……

“Ek tuich hai, jo mujhe wish karti hai…..saala apun ko hi apun ka birthday pata nahin….”, without even realizing, he spoke in a completely different manner….a manner which he now never used, which was alien to all his collegues.

“Mare liye wahi din tumhara birthday jab hum paheli baar mile the, wahaan…..”, she said. Her voice has miraculous effect on this strong hearted Major, his face softened every minute……

“W o h kya kehtain hai, ‘Thank you’!”, his grin widened….

“Bol, kya gift degi mujhe aaj?”

“Jo tu maange, mere paas ab tere siva kuch bhi nahin bacha…..”

“Maang loonga, fir denaa hi padega….”

“Ab kisi bhi cheez ki kaami nahin hai, koi cheen sake aisa kuch hai hi nahin…..”

“….tera raag nahin sunna mujhe, bol, jobhi apun mangege, milega?”

“Milega, Major…..”

“Apun ko, apunki wohi dost chahiye……pooraniwali…………”

There was a long silence on the oppoite end….and then…..

“Pata hai Aalekh, mujhe kal hi…….”

“Baat ghooma mat!”

And silence followed…..until Major heard a ‘click’ on the other end….

The call was disconnected………………………

Here’s it starts-:

At sweet & lovely night, looking at stars continuously (without even battling her eyelashes for once) just thinking of her past (time spent at KMA), and grinning in herself.
Suddenly heard voice from outside, her maa and baba was arguing with each other – she wil go, no, she wil not….. She wil….. She came out running from her room when she heard her maa & baba arguing.
What happened maa?? Baba kya baat aap log aise kyu chila rahe the?? Bolo na !!!!!
Kuch nahi beta bas aise hi tumhari maa se kuch baat pe argue ho gaya tha. Par hua kya baba tel me at least. Baba handled a courier to her in her hands and said nothing (silent).
Baba ye tn military board se aaya hai aur KMA se related hain.
KMA- an academy where she understood each and every small fact of her life. It is that academy which told her that what LOVE is, friendship!!!!! N the main lesson of her life that – NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR ENEMY!!!!!

She quickly opened the courier n read it. In the courier it was an appointment letter with a manual written note, in which it was written that “CAPTAIN NAINA SINGH AHLUWALLIA, you are appointed as a chief security officer for securing triggers in KMA. You have to report immediately within next two days as triggers are in great danger.” When she read this she was extremely shocked. Is it a plan of some one to trap her in some case or a signal of the storm that is going to meet her in her forthcoming life?
She became numb n went back to her room. Her parents were also in a great shock, after reading this news. She just entered her room and shut the door and sobs……

Her parents are also in a great shock that why military control is doing like this…..
(Inspite of heaving in record that naveen was a traitor), thinking of were they going to lost their another child as same as their first children??? Why are they doing like this, no one knows?
She was just sitting in her room & thinking about what she should do?? Accept or Reject??:confused: :confused:

i.e whether she should accept this job or go to America from where she got a job offer to teach cadets of military about mock drills!!!

She was in complexed situation. Her parents don’t want her to join their and even she was also confused because of one reason only. Her whole noght was passed while thinking of what she should do??
On the next morning, Naina came out from her room and her parents said her –“you are not going to accept this offer. Just mail them that you are going to America to teach students mock drills.”
She remains silent. After the completion of her parents words he said;-“baba aap jaisa kahenge mein avisa hi karungi. Par iske liye kal mujhe academy jana hoga aur brigadier chandok ko ye appointment letter vapas karma hoga.” N she takes that courier with her in her room and started packing n that all stuff. (Her packing mainly includes two things snaps of two persons- who had left her in her middle course of life. One is her brother NAVIN n another was CAPT RAJVEER SINGH SHEKHAWAT) whenever she thinks about Capt. tears always rolled out from her cheeks but now she learnt to control it.

Next morning, naina-“acha baba chalti hun. Thik hai maa.”
Baba-“naina jitni jaldi ho sake ye letter unhe dekar vaapas aaa jana, nahin tn hume tumhari fikr hoti rahegi. Vaise tn hum tumhe us academy mein phir se kabhi anhi bhejan chahte the par tumhari zid kea age hum kabhi jeete hain”
Maa-“ haan naina mein apna 1 beta tn kho chuki hun, ab beti nahi khona chahti. Come soon!!!”
She said ok n left from there.

She was on the way to academy n thinking of her pat n slowly sobbing in herself.

At last the time again came back of KMA…..
She just entered in academy n salute that fire. Then she went in the front of hall of fame
N a tear rolled put of her eye n she said “I m sorry bhai, mein nahin kar payi, mein haar gayi, mujhe maaf kar dena, “n she blazoned out.

But she wipe off her tears n ready to move at brigadier’s office, just she putted up her first step towards brig’s room she heard some familiar voice
“Are tu ton aaj pehle se bhi zyada khubsurat lag rahi hai. Kya baat ahi kahin is jatt ke sive ton tune apna kaanta kisi aur ke saath ton nahi bhida liya. Dekh ye jatt tn abhi bhi tera intzaar kar raha hai aur agar tune aisa kuch kiya hai ton ye jatt use chodega nahi “
She turned around n see he is none other than HUDA.

They were about to start their conversation but suddenly interrupted by some one”kay bhai! Aap bhi jab dekho inhe pareshan karte rehte hain. Aap sudhrenge nahi. Valekum sallam naina aur kaisi hai aap, achi hain an??”

“Aur aap huda hhai??” “Are je jatt tn ahmesha hi acha rehta hain!!!!!”
Naina gave a faint smile “haan think hun….. N she stopped.

Suddenly another (for ali, melodious voice) voice struck them in between
“Haan mere connection k bina kaisi ho sakti hain bus thik-thak….”
“Are puja aap yahan , kaise, aur kaisi hain??”
“kyun tera sirf tera hi connection hai kya is acacdemy se?? mana mera network milne mein thoda time laga par connection ton nahi kata. Aur kam se kam teri tarah bina koi call, sms yam is cal diye out of reach bhi nahi hua….. aur kabhi recharge karne ka time hi nai mila. “

Her face was sad for a moment just gazing directly into Ali’s eyes & asking him a lots of questions but silently through eyes only. Just eagerly waiting for any of the reply from him but……
“You are right Puja , Hey Hi Dude, Usul Bhai vats up?? How are you both?? Its really amazing to see all of us together like this back at KMA. We are just opposite to what we were few years back. Now we are going to be teachers & will train students just like our teachers did with us. Hey dude tell me ki kya is baar ke cadtes hamari tarah ya phir…..
U know what I mean……”

[CHIKS]

Everyone just turned around & was surprised to see (their coolest qaidi joining with them), ALEKH. “tere ko kya karne ka hain abhi se, jab milega unse tabhi dekh liyo. Abhi se kyun fokat mein dimag ka dahi bana raha hai”
“ are alekh bhai… Kaise hai aap
“kaisa dikh raha hun….bindaass”
“Chalo ab apna friends’ card pura hua”
“ Haan sab ek saath kitne ache lag rahje hai na”
Then for a minute there eawas a silence all oveer but as usual yudi acnt bear silence a 7 broke it by saying “ Hey guys, I am rally feeling very hungry, can we go to mess and just find out something to have n just check out for suriji also”
“Oye yudiay thand rakh phle apne tau se ton mille”
“ Oh no!! dude please!! Mein academy mein aate hi 1 risky drill karne ke mud mein nahi hun” Yudi
“ Haan baki sab ak ton connection change hoi gaya par ek apna tau hi hai jo lifetime connection kar baitha hai is academy se. Na jane kab uski validity expire hogi aur koi naya sim ka connection hoga is academy se”- Puja.
“ kyun naina tera kya khayal ahi”- Puja
Naina stood straight n gave a faint smile & nodded but hadn’t said anything.
They all were a bout to move towards the brigadiers’ room but a sepoy came there with a note in his hand & asked “Who is CAPTAIN NAINA SINGH AHLLUWALIA?”
Naina answered.
“ Oye kya baaat hai phulan aaj bhi sabse jyada famous tu hi hai is academy mein, hum sabke beech mein. Koi setting-vetting kar rakhi hai kya ” asked Huda with a wide smile on his face.
Naina opened that note and had read out loudly “ Welcome to KMA once again all of you. Just check out your rooms and unpack your bags and enjoy snacks. N then have a rest as you must be tired of such a long journey. We will meet tomorrow sharply at 10.00 hours in faculty room. Till then enjoy.”- Brigadier
“Ye tau bhi na achnak hi unreachable ho jata hai aur vo kya samajhta hai ki hum apna network uske liye hamesha free rakhe ”- puja
“Aap bhi na puja, ho sakta hain unhe koi zaruri kaam aa gaya ho”

“Chod na Ali teri aur meri call ton kabhi connect hi nahi hogi”
But without saying anything Ali walked out from there. All of them went to the mess & enquired about SURIJI.
There was no change in the mess. When they entered in mess everyone started remembering of their past. One of the people there told them that Surijji is on leave.
They all were confused. Puja ordered Pepsi. When she go her Pepsi she was about to sit with naina but as she turned around Huda pushed her as he was running after Yudi (as usual) n she fell. At the next moment her phone ranged and she answered it by saying “hi, I am Puja “and fell on the ground.
Ali grinned for a moment by remembering of his past (when he first met Puja) over the building of the mess.

PAST-:

In the mess Alekh and Ali were there talking with Suriji. Suddenly they heard sound of something like something had fallen on the roof of the mess. But one of the server of the mess said “lagta hai koi chidiya giri hai upar chat par”
And Naina entered suddenly saying-“Suriji meri roommate phone pe baat karti hui achank gir gayi, Please help!!”
“Chidiya chat par…..”
Ali and naina ran towards the top of the roof of the mess. Ali offered help to Puja. She was on phone talking with someone and said” Hi, I am Puja” and got unconscious.

PRESENT

“Are kya hua Puja tujhe “
“Ali kya dekh raha hai, utha use”
N she throwed some water drops on her face. Puja gave to normal situation and Ali gave a wide smile to him.
“Tujhe kya hua hai, mein yahan gir gayi aur tu hans raha hai”
“ Kuch nahi bas vo time yaad aa gaya jab hum pehli baar mile the aapse, bilkul aise hi”
Puja also smiled but for a moment only. After that they all had their snacks and the process of comments were started again”
“As usual coffee is the best and all rest is bakwaas. Oh mom!!!! Where are you?”
But Ali grinned for a moment and said-:” Kam se Kam us ande aur doodh se tom bahut zyada behtar hai”

On the other hand Puja asked Naina (sitting quiet from such a long time)”Are kya baat hai, tera connection recharge nahi hua kya”
“ nahi aisa ton nahi par tu aisa kyu puch rahi ahi”
“ Jabse aayi hai dekh rahi hun ki bilkul chup-chap baithi hai sab thik hai na”
Naina again nodded her head and came out the mess. A tear rolled out of her eye but she came out of the mess. Alekh knew what was going on in her mind but everyone questioned inside the mess
“Ae Naina ko kya hua??”
Alekh also followed her and asked her what happened. She answered “kuch nahi”. Then all of their rest gang members came out and as they were about to start their conversation but they followed by an officer (his responsibility is to show them their respective quarters). He asked every one to have a look in their rooms so all of them went to their rooms without saying anything to anyone.
This time they all are given separate rooms. They unpacked their bags mad met in mess for dinner.
“Hey dude, this time we all are having separate rooms, isn’t it amazing. You know what I mean… do whatever you want”
“Nahin“ hamar manna ton ye hai ki pehle ki tarah agar hum saath mein rehte ton zyada enjoy kar payenge”
“Whatever but these rooms are really better than that cadets room…Yakkk”
They all had their dinner and went back to their rooms wishing each other GOOD NIGHT.

When Yudi entered in his room he screamed “Oh no!!!!!! Chuuu…..Chuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”
Everyone came out and entered into Yudi’s room”
“Kya hua hai Yudi bhai, aap itni zor ke chilaye kyun”
“Hey dude mere kamre mein chu-chu….chua hai.”
“Saala khali pili timepass kar raha hai”
“No chief I am serious, I swear”
“ Oye yudiay itna bada hogaya par abhi take k chuhe se darta hai. Phir ton tu mere gaon mein kabhi mat aayiyo”
“Hey dude but y so “
“Are chua dekh kart era ye haal hai ton bhains dekhkar ton tu behosh hi ho jayega”
“Shut uppppppppp!!!!!!!!! But now I suppose ki hamara cadets ka room hi best tha”
“Hey can’t v get that room again?”
“Aap hamare room mein shift ho jayiye aur hum yahan aa jate hai, vaise bhi vahan koi chua-vuha nahi hai”
“Haan bhai ek mard ko chgote se CHUE se kya darr”
“Just shut up dude, I wil stay only in this room”
“Oye tu kab se mard ban gaya”
As usual Alekh is standing quiet
But at the end he comments” Saala aise hi kahli pili daru ka sara nasha utar diya”
All of them went back in their rooms.
In morning they all had their breakfast and assembled at hall near ‘THE WALL OF FAME’
A messenger came with a message that you all are requested to assemble at faculty room. They all passed from the front of the brigadier’s room but no one noticed one crucial thing around his room.

They entered in the faculty room whispering with each other. Brigadier was having his back facing them. He turned around n said “I was eagerly waiting for all of you. Welcome to KMA once again. It’s so nice to see all of you again here with each other”
And all of them were shocked because of one reason only.

This is a completely different and new fic I have started. I thought that we always show how sad the parting od Rajveer and Naina is....or how the meet after years....why are we so sure about their at the moment failing love? so....i thought why not show them married....right from the beginning?

Almost half a bucket of ice-cold water is splashed on her head......

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.................... ."

She gets suffocated....her bedding...cloths.....body.....hair.....eerythng drenched in water.....

.....did she feel like it, or someone had purposely turned the AC on "chilled" mode!.....brrrr....it was cold...she was angry......annoyed....irritated....sleepy.....and now.....cold!!

"HA...HA....HA....HA...."

..........when she heard loud sound of laughter....

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAJ..........tum hamesha...........kyu.....ruko....ruko.....chodung i nahi.....", and she ran behind the charming tall fellow, who ran from the bedroom....in fits of laughter!!

"HA...HA HA.....", he couldn't control his laughter.....he laughed again and again.....looking at red-and-annoyed Naina.

Finally she caught hold of him in the passage....and started beating him!

"Arre....arre....arre....biwi....arre[she was continuously beating him].....OUCH!"

He stumbled and fell on the sofa in the hall....frightened, if she had hurt him too hard....naina stooped...at him...

"Kya....kya hua...."

He pressed his eyes close....and acted as if in severe pain....Naina gt restless....she was fidgiting....worried.....

"Kya....yeh maine hi....ek strong si captain banai....aur ye to dushman ki jagah....mujhpar meri hi saari tricks....Ouch!"

"Achha, Major kahan lagi....zara mujhe bhi to pata chale...ki Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat ko kahan maarne pe itna dukhta hai...."

....both of their heads turned towards the doorway....

Both of them rushed towards their early-morning guest....clad in her track pants and Tee, and her hair tied at the top in a ponytail.

"Ah-ha Naina....achha nite suit hai....waise Major aap Naina ko samjhate nahin....aise sone se shardi lag jaati hai...."

Naina blushed, and Rajveer suppressed a laughter....

"Aap bhi Dr.Shalini.....yeh toh......", Naina started....and then felt wierd explaining what happened.

"Haan...haan....bolo Naina...", said Rajveer still laughing....

Shalini was in town[Delhi] for a conference for a fortnight, and was staying nearby. She visited them often, and had pleasent family dinners.

She walked into their spacious sitting area...which was before the living room....it was simply decorated with a big vase and a sofa. It had some books, and now completely drenched with water Naina was dripping with! Shalini followed the water and walked into their hall. The hall was magnificent, in all possible ways - big glass windows, overlooking their beautiful garden[to which their holidays were entirely devoted], beautiful crystal chandelier, all vases filled with fresh flowers, exquisite candle-stands for evenings, comfortable couch-cum-sofa, and a home theater.....but the thing that catches attention of every visitor withing seconds of entering the room was.....

....There were no garlands, no incense sticks, no diya.....because they believed he was there....with them.....in that house....always....and they would never let him go!

"Toh kya shaitaniyaan chal rahin thi....?"

"Yeh......mujhe sona tha.....aur yeh Bergadier Chandok che chele....subah subah bugal baja rahe the.....", complained Naina disapprovingly like a kid.

All of them laughed and Naina retired to change cloths, stumping her legs....

"So Doc, whats new?"

"New to jab bhi aati hoon tab yahan dekhne milta hai Major!"

"Isi new se to hum jeete hain....main, tum, Naina....zindagi jitni jiyo.....haas ke jiyo!"

"Satya Vachan, Major!....par sach kahun, bahot achha lagta hai.....itni mushkilon ke baad, aap dono itne khush ho..."

"Mushkilain thi isiliye to khusiyaan badi lagti hain....mehsoos hoti hain....."

A servant walks towards them, but before he could say something....they herd a loud banging from the kitchen....like somone was banging a spoon on a plate[usually done in hostel canteen...as a sign for hunger]....

"NAASTA LAG GAYA HAI.......MARCH TOWARDS THE DINING HALL.....COMMON....", yelled Naina from the kitchen....her voice full of child-like mischief!

Shalini burst out laughing at this.... and Rajveer making a 'ekdam bachhi hai' look....walked towards the dining room.

The breakfast was perfectly spread.....but.....

"Yeh kya hai?"

.....6 raw eggs, and a jug full of milk were kept on the breakfast table....

"NAINA!", yelled out Rajveer.

Naina came in with a bottle of Maple syrup in hand....looking exceedingly naughty yet innocent!

"Hmmmm...?",as if everything was normal.

"Naina....."

"Hmmm....mera naam hai....maine suna....Kya??"

"Yeh kya hai....mera naashta kahan hai?"

"Raj......nashta tabal par hai......."

"Woh to main ne bhi dekha....par yeh kya hai....??"

"Tmne hi to kaha.....Nashta!"

"Urrrrrrrrgggh!......"

Shalini was suppressing her laughter, her eyes shooting to and fro and her hand on her mouth!

"Ab tum Major Bhargav ke jaise utha rahe the.....to.....maine socha unhe to yahi pasand hai.....chele jo ho gaye ho unke......"

Raj was dumbstruk by the reply.....before he could answer her saw the jar of Maple syrup in her hand....

"Aaahaa....aur aap meri prtegee hain Captain.....aap yeh "High calorie" breakfast nahin karengi....", he said imitating Major Bhargav.

"Arre nahin Sire.....yeh aapne soch bhi kaise...", she sain in a typical 'Cadet Naina Singh' voice, "...aap to mere mentor ho...mere pati ho....my bitt..oops...better half ho....beshak main bhi yehi khaongi...mujhe to aadat hai.....aur yeh maple syrup....are yeh to Doc ke liye hai....ab ghar aaye mehmaan ko aap yeh...yeh...army food khilayenge kya....woh maine thode pancakes banadiye!", Naina said making an extermely innocent face, and now her eyes sparkled with a 'kyun-kaisi-lagi' look!

(Pancakes incidently his favourite!)

And now the was was on.....

Shalini could no longer suppress her laughter...she burst out laughing and giggling loudly looking at the look on Rajveer's face......within seconds Naina joined her....

"Arrrrghhhhhhhhhh........."

and the Tom and Jerry race began again!

She ran laughing like Rajveer, imitating him, and he ran to catch her……and Shalini laughed standing in the dining room.

“Rukko….rukkko….tum….”

“Ha…Ha….Ha…..Ha…..”

“…ande aur doodh….rukko….abhi pakadta hoon….”

“He..he…he….he…he…..Major Bhargaaaav……..”

“Kya…..kya kaha tumne…..”

“Majooor Bhaaargav to yahi khate the…..High in protein…..he..he…”

“Protien…? Mujhe protein khilaogi….!!”

And she caught her in the garden laon….she fell and he stumbled next to her….both landing on the cold-moist grass. He caught her by wrist which he held at her back and turned it….

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa……….’, Naina yelled.

“Eeeeeeeeiiiiiiiishhhh!! [making a face and putting fingers in his ears] Chillao mat!”

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa……to haath chodo…..”

“Mujhe ande-aur-doodh khilaogi?”

“Haaa….Major Bhargav to yehi khate the…”

He turned her hand still harder.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaa……Mamaaaaaaaaaaa……….”

“Protien food…hmmmm…..?”

“Maamaaaaaaa……”, Naina started pretending to cry like a baby.

“Ab bolo, ande khilaogi?”

“Naaahiiin!”

“Pancake banenge?”

“Haaaaaaaaaaaan……..”

“Aur main Major Bhargav hoon??”

“Nahiiiin…..aaaaaaaa……”

He left her hand…and expected her to quickly turn and run away…..but Naina knew better….

“Suno”, she sat on her heels and close to him….touching his forhead tenderly with a finger, and moving it slowly down….

“Hmmm….”, he was trying to figure out what was going on….

Shalini standing at the back-door of the house raised her eyebrows….

“W o h….”, she moved closer

“Haan….”, she was too much, Raj was mesmerised….completely taken in…..

“W o h ek baat kehni thi….”

“Haaa….”, he said equally dreamy.

“W o h….”, she moving closer.

“Hmmm…”

“W o h tum….”, said Naina moving still closer….Now ther were inches away….Raj was lost in her new look.

“Hmmm….”

“Tum…”, she said… “…tum….MAJOR BHAARAV HO……..”, she actually yelled, and quickly got up and ran towards the house….

“..Aur Mogambo ko ande hi milenge…..”, she said running into the house at top speed!

Rajveer came back….huh? what?….he he….she had done it again….outwitted him….and how he loved it…..made him sooo proud…..a wide grin broke on his face….but to maintain the mood….he baught a sullen expression…..and walked towards Shalini.

Shalini was looking at him….bemused….suppressing her laughter….

“W oh….w oh…w oh to maine use jaane diya….bachhi samaj ke chood diya….”, he said in an unconvincing tone.

This was too much….Shalini burst out laughing….and then making a false-serious face…and laughing and giggling at the same time….

“Hmmm…hmmm….haan haan Major….”

“Haso…haso…Doc…Khoob haso….”

“Waise ek baat to kahungi Major…aapki yeh Cadet aapke hi petre aap par hi aazma rahi hai…..to main aapko aapki hi ek baat yaad dilaadoon….”, but before Shalini could continue.…Naina yelled aloud from the kitchen, teasingly…..

“….yahi…ki Major, DUSHMAN KO KABHI KAMZOR NAHIN SAMAJNA CHAHIYE…..”

This was a usual scene at the 'The Bliss', New Delhi. It was a sprawling banglow, with a beautiful garden and a more beautiful drive on path. It was perfect....for the people who had united forever after fighting and grueling through changes and challenges and dealing with critical situations together! It was truly a bliss!

After breakfast Naina and Shalini sat chatting and Rajveer dressed for work....He was going to report late today, so he took the chance a some mischiefs with his pretty wife, early in the morning.

He was humming a song in the room....he was really happy....[he gt his pancakes at last....but only after he drank at least one egg with milk....with Naina looking at him like Breg.Chandog!]....Naina was on leave for a week....she had been for a family wedding, but now was back....it was Saturday, and she would resume duty on Monday.

"DING-DONG", the doorbell rang.

"Beta, Raj ki gaadi taiyaar hai....", Ishwarkak told Naina.

"Ji, Kaka.....RAAAAAAAAAJJJJJ......"

"Haan.....", he called out form their bedroom.

"Tumhara make-up set saath main lelo....warna late hojaoge!"

"Make-up....?"

"Haan.....mujhse zyaada time lete ho....."

"Ab, Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat ko 'Major' dikhna bhi to chahiye.....", he said walking into the living room.

He was wearing his regular dignified formals....all set to leave....Naina looked at him....and he threw a kaise-lag-raha-hoon look at her.....she eyed him survayingly....made a face....

"Hmmmm....?", said Shalini, as if awaiting Naina's response.

Naina quietly walked to him....and put his collar in right position....and said....with the same unsatisfactory expression....

"Na!.....kuch gadbad hai...."

Shalini raised her brows....she knew it was coming.....again.....

"Kya...."

"Ummmm......ek minute....", and she walked upto him.....she took his face, and as if checking something moved it right and left....and then suddenly smiled...and gave him a peck on his cheek....

"Hmmm....ab thik hai", said she.

Raj looked at her....eyes full of mischief....

"Zara woh side dekho....abhi kuch gadbad feel ho rahi hai...."

Naina did the same on his another cheek too....

"Theek se dekho na Naina.....ab bhi hai....."

Naina raised her brows...she knew she was fixed in her own game.....

.......she came still closer....Raj unable to understand what would she do....she caught hold of his collar...and pulled him close....Raj closed his eyes...and suddenly felt his cheeks pulled.....

.......Shalini at one and Naina at another side of his.....both firmly gripping his cheeks....and pulling them.....

"Sooooooooo.........Cuuuuuuuuttte!", bothe retorted tog....and then burst out laughing.....

...Raj left for work....laughing....

..........she was the reason.....he laughed always.....went off to work smiling and laughing....and came back home.....with the lightest heart!

It was late morning...about 11.30AM....Naina was talking to her mom....all gily talk about her cousins wedding....cooking.......Raj.....Shalini........an d everything else.....yes....quite unbelievable.....Naina....talking all girly stuff.....when her cell phone rang....

"T-R-I-N-G..."

"Helo...."

"Captain....", Shalini was on call.

"Oh hi, Doctor...."

"Hi vi mat karo....main bahot tension main hoon....vaise blu behtar hota hai ya red?"

"Ma'm"

"....haan...haan....bolo na....blue ya red?"

"Ma'm kya?"

"....are tumne decide kar liya....kya pehnogi?....haan....Raj bada choosie hai....usi ne kuch select karva ke rakha hoga.....hai madam....sab ki aise kismat kahan....."

"Ma'm kya....kahan...mujhe kuch nahin samaj main aa raha...."

"Kyun mazak kar rahi ho Naina?....Army Ball....yahan ka annual ball....aaj shaam ko....."

"W-H-A-T????"

"...Ab yeh mat kehna ki Raj....."

"Haan...bilkul....Rajveer sir ne kuch bhi nahin bataya mujhe....."

"RAAAAAAAAAAJ........."....both the girls yelled at the same time!

It was that precise moment that her landline rang....

"....Yeh Raj bhi na.....oh...eh....Docor main aapko 5 min main fon karti hoon....I think I am getting a call on the landline...."

"Sure Naina....wahi hoga...dekhna...."

"....haan choodingi nahin......urrgggh!...."

And she disconnected the call and took the landline call.

"Helo..."

Someone coughed slowly on the other end....

"Jee...."

"Woh main....."

"Jee....", Naina raised her voice...

"Woh Biwi...main...woh...tumhe....batana....uh....emmm. ..."

"Hmmmm....."

"Woh...main...bhool...gaya....ki....woh....aaj....s haam....humein.....ball ....main...jana....hai......"

"AB bata rahe ho....RAAAJ......!!"

"I am sorry.....really.....it just slipped....woh main tumhe subah hi batane wala tha...par...."

"Par...."

"Par....tum itni cute lag rahi thi sote hue....ki...mujhe....mujhe....mazak sujhi....."

"HMMM...."

"Sorry na...."

"Ab Raj main pehno kya....saare formals to shaadi ke baad dry clean ke liye gaye hain....mere aur tumhare dono ke....are army uniform main....to nahin aa sakti na...."

"...Fikar kyu karti ho....woh tum army uniform main hi bahot khubsoorat lagti ho....woh main KMA main....tumhe usmain hi to dekh...dekh ke.....aur unpar jab kichad lagta hai na....to...to....ahhhhhaaa...."

"...Fir se mazak....."

"KYA?? Main mazak.....okay...I am sorry....par tum aise hi mat aa jana....Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat ko loog jaante hain...."

"...Aur Captain Singh Ah..Shekhawat ko bhi....."

"....haan....thoda sa....."

"Theek hai....theek hai....I will be there.....aur tumhare formals ka kuch karti hoon....send the car...."

Let me tell u in brief the happenings of that day in brief....Raj sent the car home...and Naina managed to send him his formals....simple black blazer and white shirt and trouser! Thats the best available pair in the closet.....

....but both knew....that the war was on.....alag alag.....who looked better....and who was more popular....both smiling at themselves and each other.....started thinking of new ways to outwit each other.....

Naina sent a note with the clothes....

I am sending the best pair available....try grabbing a date with these on...and forget about me....as I enter balls with only exquisitely dressed men!!!!....so Major, hurry up....or all the good one's will be taken.....

Rajveer grinned as he read the note....

"...Captain.....we will see...."

And he worked on for the day. The Ball was to commence by 2030hrs. Raj left the headquarters at 1900hrs and drove straight to the best mall in the town...and bought himself a cool attire....and then gt into one of the dressing rooms and gt dressed.....he looked...as usual good and dignifiried & impressive!!

So, now Raj was all set to hook the prettiest girl at the ball.....Too happy with himself, he drove to the venue....

The venue was perfectly decorated.....pinks, whites and light green leaves of flowers poked out here and there....Balloons...confetti es....sparklies.....were spread on the floor....they had created a feel of snow-fall.....perfect!!

Well, the lounge succeeded the ballroom. The lounge was classic....now....the enterance of the lounge was above and every entrant had to climb down a staircase to reach the lounge....only couples were allowed into the ballroom....so people met in the lounge....and walked into the ballroom...from where sound of loud cheers and clapping came....now and then...as every couple entered!

Now Raj was with other fellow officers chatting...and waiting....for Naina and a lady who he could take in as his date! All the women around were looking at him.....waiting for him to ask them in.....hoping that their respective dates do not turn up!

.....he waited for half an hour...he was determined to ask a lady in front of Naina....and amply flirt with her....to make her jealous.....

....he got restless....Captain, u r late!!, he thought!

..fifteen more minutes.......Naina....where are you??

........Fifteen more minutes....and more and more couples started walking in....why isn't she coming?

...that woman was better than anything the Annual Army Ball, New Delhi had ever seen.....long hair....perfectly straightened...and ends in perfect curls....some streaks of her shiny black hair rested on her front-side of shoulder....

....dangling crystals sparkled behind them.....and perfectly, glamorous...yet simple......

.....she stood at the enterence of the lounge!

….she stood there and the light fell on her….making her look still beautiful and glamorous…..her crystals shining, illuminating her pretty face….her sideways partition of hair….and the hair falling on her shoulder looked like black silk….

….every member in the lounge was staring her without a blink….she carried herself with a grace….making it impossible to decide who was prettier….she or the sari!!

She started descending….slowly….stylishly….Rajveer looked up….and kept staring…..she was evidently the most beautiful woman he had ever seen…..and perfect for being his date!

……but…..than he saw Shalini at the top of the staircase…..and he knew Naina will come shortly…..and it was just right time to use his charms!

He walked up to the last stair, where that woman had reached….and offered her his hand…as if to help her step down…she looked at him…her big eyes……woo….even Rajveer was woooed!

“Aap yahan akeli…..?”

“….aate to sabhi akele hain….saathi to dhoon ne padte hain.”, she smiled at him.

“Aur agar koi sath chale to….”

“….main kisiko jaane bina saath chalne nahin deti….”

The lady, was now holding him tendely….and smiling at him…..he smiled, somewhat uncomfortably……yet charming!

“Lets walk in Rajveer!”

Confetties…..Balloons….sparklies…..went into the air….and they heard a loud applaud….and cheering…….

She walked down with all grace and style….next to Rajveer who too was tying to make an enterance….but……

…..but her charms outdid his today…..everyone in the Ballroom….were looking at her….Raj was feeling a bit overshadowed.

….as they descended the last stair….a couple of officers came in and asked her for dance…..

“….hmmm….Rajveer??”

“Yes….”

“…err….lets dance….”

Rajveer’s eyes surveyed the room for Naina…but couldn’t find her…..so…now, the whole fun of the war was gone…..

“….emm…I am not in a mood….”

She looked weirdly at him….as if she dint like the statement. And they sat there…..Rajveer was very glum…..thinking of the “Gori Gori” dance at KMA, the dance practice in the deserted canteen, and the beautiful dance on their wedding…..those were soo different!!

Some guys again asker the lady for dance……

“Rajveer….”

“Yes’m”

“Do you mind?”

“Huh?”

“Oh! Never mind!”, she looked annoyed, got up and walked away….

….Rajveer noticed a smirk on her face….he wondered why…..he dint care…..he wanted to get home….talk to Naina….ask her why didn’t she come?

After what felt like half an hour….of sitting gloomily, and meeting his seniors, Rajveer went near the bar, to grab some soda.

He noticed that lady sitting there playing with her orange juice. She looked completely unfezzed…as if hasn’t danced at all…..[‘She had gone for dancing, hadn’t she?’, thought Rajveer]

…..Then something hit his eye…..something that made things crystal clear……

…..suddenly, something occurred to him….his brain started working…..the blanks started filling….the clues started making sense…..

……..he knew what had been going on…..and he knew what to do….

He walked to the lady, and as she looked at him…..went really close to her….and….

“Hey Beautiful, care for a dance?”

“Mister Rajveer, I asked you first…..”

“….doesn’t matter sweets….”, he took her hand and kissed it…..the lady was shocked!

“What makes you think, that I will dance with you?”

“…You will, darling! ….and did I tell you, that you had the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen….” [‘So cheeky! You can do better!”,Rajveer told himself.]

The lady’s expression changed…..to amazement…..and anger[??]

“I am sorry Rajveer.”

“I insist, lovely.”

And he pulled her to the center of the Ball room….where people already in the awe of the lady….stopped dancing….and started looking……

Suddenly a loud bollywood item number stated playing….and Raj took the charge of the floor…..single handedly!

And before she knew it….he pulled her by hand…..and they danced…..quick and differently…than the usual romantic dance…..

And when the last step came, she was leaning on Rajveer’s hand, on her back[the way you do in a usual balldance….got what I mean, when the two people are face to face…and the leady is leaning on her back and the man looking at her][one more example, the last posture of “Rukja o dil diwane…”, in DDLJ after which Raj throws Simran down…flat] …and he looking at her….rest of the people were far away encircling them……when he looked into her eyes….

“Kaisi rahi Captain…..??”

…..and the lady’s eyes widend….and within a fraction of a second, she grinned widely…..

"Hmmm....baara to aapke chahere pe baje the Major.....Pasand nahin aayi aapko....aapki, 'Nayee Date"?'

Raj smiled.

"Maine kaha tha biwi....ki tumko mujhse behtar koi milega hi nahi....afterall....."

"Yeah....woh logon ka reaction to aapne dekkha hi....."

The two of them straitened themselves....and started walking...when Raj caught her by her hand....

"Waise maine kaha ki aap saari main.....gazab lag rahin hain??"

Naina turned back....and smiled....came closed and planted a peck on his cheek....

The entire hall went mad......clapping....and in the middle of the upload....Mr. & Mrs. Shekhawat walked towards the tables.....

....finally, as they came to a reasonably quieter corner....

"Kaisi rahi Major?"

"Huh....?"

"I earned a clear win today...."

"Well, you would have......"

"Magar tumko pata kaise chala, ki main......"

"Hum to aapko laakhon main dhoondh lete hain....", he said in an old-hindi-movie-hero-style.....making an annoying face....

"Kaise.....bolona....!!!!"

Raj tenderly took her hand.....

"Har chor ki tarah....tumne bhi surah chod diya.....ek chotisi bhool....aur yeh kamal ka plan.....Flopp!!"

"What?", asked Naina surveying herself......

"Yeh....hamari nishaani.....ise dekhte hi main samaj gaya....ki tum mujhe ullo banane ke liye....shaadi ki angoothi nikaal sakti ho.....par yeh simple si pyaar ki nishaani ko kabhi khud se alag nahin karogi!", and he kissed her hand....quite proud of her!

"Well done Major.....", she smiled....

"By the way....where's Shalini....?"

"Hey there you are....Raj, woh rahin Doctor....chalo..."

And both of them rushed towards her!

"Sha....", Raj's voice trailed.... and Naina was stunned as Shalini and her date turned to face them......

Rajveer's mouth remained open....and Naina's eyes widened....and Shalini looked on smiling.....

"Ah...aa....wo....emm...."

"Yudi...????", Raj bellowed!

A couple of heads turned.....but beforE Yudi reacted.....Naina hugged him tight.....

"Yudi...yudi...yudeeeee....kahan the....tum....."

Rajveer was looking at him and smiling.....Yudi had changed....completely.....however Naina never looked at him....she was too excited to see him.....

....Yudi...now looked like Mr.Yaduvansh Sahani.....a complete dude...with that child-like smile still on his face, that proved his innocence........complete with a Versace suit......
