Hi guys, i recently watched the movie poi solla porom...
i thought it was really good... it gives you this happy feeling after watching the movie.
& for those who are sick of all the gore & violence, & Hero's self promoting themselves with nonsensical unwanted dialogues & constant flickering of their hands ( which usually results in 10 rowdies 2 times his size flying across the movie screen) & actresses who seem to have nothing more to do than to be a warning signal that the next song for the movie will come in a few minutes, & showing more of their apple skin tone than their acting skills... this a fresh movie for all of u..
The casting is great ... finally there's a movie with actors & actresses who can really act well & do justice to their characters...(thou currently there seems to be more such talented new comers such as lekha in jeyam kondan)
Story is simple & this the simplicity itself works wonders on us....
Perfect comic timings & nasser once again proved he's one of the most versatile actors in tamil industry, 2nd best to none other than the wonderful actor RAGHUVARAN...
Songs are not unique or anything special but are really pleasant, those that we can listen to at full volume & still enjoy .. & the lyrics are worth the mention.. very nicely written with words that actually exist in the dictionary.. the lyrics seem to have a story within themselves ( especially the song Intha payanathil, Kannamoochi attam, Ghandhi Nootu & ulagamae nadaga..actually i just listed out all the songs.).. & the song intha payanathil by Swetha is really nice...
Plus, the whole movie seems so real, you wont feel like ur watching a movie, it'll feel like its a story happening right in front of ur eyes to someone u know... which is the biggest success for a movie...
on the other hand, cause its so real... some do not like it... so those who expect vijay style "mass" movie or simbhu/ sjsurya type of "straight-to censorboard-for-editing" movie... u might not like it...( but just watch it.. so that u'll realise what good cinema is all about)
